This is the third pair I have owned. Love em! The only reason I gave a 4 is I feel they are overly stiff. Makes for a long break in period. Not really needed but it helps with some comfort is all.

My Merrells don't look like the picture displayed with rating. They don't come up that high on the ankle. Which is why I bought them. They don't look so much like an athletic shoe.
I bought these for every day wear and other than minimal arch support they are extremely comfortable.
I definitely will recommend then for every day wear.

Great boot comfortable and breaths well. Only reason I can't give it five stars is because it wears out within 6-9 months of use. I weight 215 and on the average week ruck around 50 miles on top of normal walking. Use on mixed terrain.
Great for normal wear but if you are hard on shoes and live life on the edge they will not last.

Been wearing nothing but Merrill for 20 years, always fit like a glove, lately though the colors haven't changed for years, your good if you like brown oh and there's another brown if you like brown your golden , they finally cane out with I think silver birch or something birch, got one pair and discontinued Wth?? The black ones been hear for 20 years, wished I could wear the lady's colors at least they have style?

These boots are extremely comfortable right out of the box. They never need a break-in period. I work 8 hours a day on uncovered concrete floors and the level of cushion these provide or nothing less than phenomenal. The only reason I could award 5 stars is that at some point the sizing changed without warning causing me to order a pair at my usual size that do not fit correctly. But I just moved up a half size and I'm back in business.

I ordered these for my father. We originally got the 10.5 but opted for the 11 because he needed the extra room. I typically purchase a 1/2 size larger for hiking shoes anyway, but in the case of these boots it seemed to be necessary like they ran a little small.

Got mine as an every day wear, default insole was not right for my feet but once that was sorted they are the most comfortable shoe I've ever had and they are light enough if im not standing sometimes I forgot I'm wearing them

The Moab 2 fits well and cushions my old-guy feet. I have a waterproof pair in brown for most days spring through fall. I alternate with my black pair every couple of weeks. Timberland boots when it snows.

I work outdoors and need a boot that is lightweight, comfortable, breathable, and long lasting. For the last several years, the Moab Ventilators have been meeting that need. I have to wear boots for work, and these meet that requirement while not being too heavy. The insoles are decent and fit is good for me. The breathability is excellent. Durability has mostly been very good - the Vibram soles are worth the expense and the EVA midsoles have a decent lifespan as well. The insoles wear out quickly but that's not a huge deal. I wear these boots day in and day out, on dirt and pavement alike and I typically get about a year of full-time use out of them.
I've owned four pairs of Moab Ventilators. Only the most recent had an issue with durability - the black toe cap material started to come apart within a month. Merrell took care of me but I hope this isn't a sign of declining quality, because I rely on these boots!

The shoe body itself seems oversized, large and wide on the outside and sole and not good for hiking.

Good boots,
The size runs big, a half size smaller will fit good.

After trying to find this style in a Merrell women’s that would fit, their 11 is half size too small, and couldn’t find 11.5, so switched to men’s sizes, which turned out to be half size too small as well. Finally, got a 9.5 Men’s that fit my size 11 narrow, thin heeled woman’s foot. Yay! Love them.

wore them about 4 hours lastnight. Never have I experienced such arch support. very lightweight and comfortable. minus 1 star for shoe length. Been wearing size 11 all my life and this gives me a little bit of room to spare at the toe, but in thesemy toes are at the very tip of the shoe, nothing to spare. You might go up a half size. but I will keep and wear these, probably buy more but 11 and a half.

I ordered Walnut, and the box I received says Walnut. But when I opened the box I was thinking they sent me the wrong color. But hey sent the right color. *Warning: the walnut color is not true to the walnut color displayed. They look more like gray, or light olive green.

Very comfortable boots, but lack stability, and sole seems to be too thin on rocky terrain. Very good for hot environment.

I've bought many pairs of these, but I would trade some comfort for longer tread life. The lugs wear in the heel to discomfort while the uppers are in fantastic shape. Going to try a resole.

Good boots for backpacking but lose comfort by 250 miles and the toe starts to separate.
I bought another pair since and will buy another when I need new boots again.
Overall a very good shoe. I never give a 5 star
