I wear these boots a lot in the fall/winter. They work very well for hiking, snow-shoeing, or just keeping the feet warm! I recommend them highly.

These are the most comfortable lightweight hiking boots I have ever owned. They give me the space I need in my wide feet and long toes. Also great arch support. I am now hooked on Merrell!

Great shoe! The only brand that lasts as I walk and hike a lot!

LOVED my Moab 2 hiking boots - extremely comfortable, kept my feet dry, and after each day on an 8 day trek to summit of Mt Kilimanjaro, my feet felt great, not sore, throbbing or sweaty like other hiking boots I've tried.

This was my first new pair of winter boots in 20+ years (my Red Wings' sole finally gave out). They're super warm, keep my feet dry, and fit perfectly. The arch support is fine, although I didn't buy them for that.

Absolutely love these. No time needed to break them in. Breathes well in hot temps. I wore for 2.5 weeks on African safari and was so very happy I had them.

I took these babies to Spain! For a 7 day walking vacation along the Costa Brava. I had planned to wear my trail running shoes, but bought these at the last minute and brought them along "just in case." Thank goodness I did. I wore them every day, every step of every 6-13 mile hike. Up -- and down -- every single mountain. I have plantar's fasciitis and these kept me pain free. What's most incredible is that despite the fact that I hadn't properly broken them in before the trip (whoops), I had no issues. No blisters. Nothing. Just 100% comfort and support.

I have purchased both low and high top Moab hikers. Both worn right out of the box, no breaking them in, never have I gotten any blisters. The arch support is pretty good, but also removable and I use my own inserts. They are going with me to Scotland in the fall for the West Highland Way.

Very nice shoes, comfortable, kind of bulky but it's what you sign up for.

Perfect boots for a person wanting good ankle support. I've worn them every day for 2 years, walking, hiking, heavy yardwork, farm work. Just starting to wear out and I'm buying a new pair.

Comfortable right out of the box. Light on the feet, no break in needed. I went 10 miles on my first hike in the mountains and the boots were very light and comfortable. with past hiking shoes I have had a problem slipping on loose rocks going down hills, no slipping at all with these boots, the traction is excellent. I have a medium width foot, size 7-1/2-8 women's. I bought size 8 and they fit perfect with extra room for thick hiking socks. No rubbing anywhere on the feet.

These hikers feel like sneakers. I use them for work where I am on my feet 40+ hrs a week.

Great pair of hikers, love them. They keep your feet warm and dry from water and wet snow. I'm in the upper peninsula Michigan - worth the money! Will buy again.

Very comfortable boots with no break in time required. Went for a 5 mile hike the day I received them and they felt great. Love that they are waterproof and I was able to walk in puddles.

Super comfy and supportive from the get go. Didn't get a chance to "wear in" these hiking shoes prior to a trip to New Zealand. So had to pull them on for my first hike. Climbed a moderate ranked hike with an elevation gain of 1300 ft full of uneven ground and rocks over a course of a few miles. These boots handled it with no problem, they gripped the ground well and I lost no traction. Went on to do several more hikes while in NZ and was so happy I had brought these with me!

This is the first pair of hiking boots that didn’t give me blisters on my heels. In the past I have tried everything, and bought really expensive boots. These Merrell’s are terrific. Lightweight, comfortable right out of the box. No break- in needed but still with very good support.

Very comfortable. No break in needed. Just hiked a few trails in Big Bend. These hikers really hug the rocks. No slipping. Love them.

These are my second pair of the MOAB 2 waterproof hikers that I've purchased. In my first pair of hiking boots I have hiked in many state and national Parks, through shallow creek beds, on wet and dry rocks, sandy, muddy, grassy, rocky terrain and they've performed marvelously! Have not slipped on wet rocks and the high rise provides excellent ankle support when navigating rocky terrain. Also want to mention the break in period was very minimal! I love them and would highly recommend!!

This was a replacement pair I bought because I lost my other pair. I contemplated buying another brand or maybe a cheaper kind of Merrell instead of the Moab. I eventually decided this is the only shoes worth the money. It does not ever need "breaking in." It is unbelievably comfortable for an all-day hiking adventure, or just walking and being on your feet all day! I'm a big fan of Merrell shoes, and they are my first choice for high quality and comfort for my feet. My feet are closer to flat feet, and my husband has very high arches. He has the Men's version of the Moab, and has enjoyed it for many years. it is unbelievable how the arch support and cushioning of this shoe can accommodate such a wide range of arches!
