Thank you Merrill for finally making woman's size 12! These fit perfectly. Went for a 5 mile hike over some very rocky terrain. I'm 70 and was concerned about turning an ankle. No problem. Not even stiff the next day. I did replace the foot pad with my own orthotic. Highly recommend.

Great comfort on all types of terrain. We hiked in Great Sand Dunes National Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The terrain is quite different, but the performance and comfort of these boots was outstanding in both. This is my second pair because I wore the first pair out. Enough said.

Extremely comfortable shoes for hiking all day. I usually wear size 7.5 shoes but bought this pair in size 8 because I wanted to wear with thick socks in winter.

Unless you are doing heavy duty hiking, these boots are all terrain friendly. They were recommended by two enthusiastic and experienced campers. I have had only one oppotunity to wear them so far, so I can't say how well they will wear. I can say that they was no break in period. I like that they are purportedly weather proof because there will always be a chance of inadvertently dipping your feet into a stream.

First pair of hiking shoes I’ve ever owned or tried on. Ordered a 1/2 size up based on other reviews and glad I did. I’m an 8 across the board and ordered these in an 8 1/2. My foot is neither wide nor narrow. I ordered the medium width but may have benefited from the wide. Just not sure how they’re supposed to feel......have no comparison. Seemed like an odd fit at first, however I quickly became unaware I was wearing them (also wearing med. weight wool socks). Very light weight and good ankle support. Great traction. Absolutely no reason to be returned!

It's been 3years since I bought my last pair... I hate shopping for shoes, they never fit I hate it , so I love watching Bear Grill and looked up what he wears because I need a shoe that can go anywhere... I was so surprised when I got them and they fit !!!!!! It also only took a day to break in the top back of the shoe... these are by far my favorite shoe I've ever bought... Love them , I will by my shoes from you guys from now on.. thank you for marking my life easier in the future.... You guys Rock !!!!!!!

Really love these boots! I wore them pretty much right out of the box and tramped all over Iceland. They were super comfortable. I wear a size 8 or 39 and have a somewhat wide foot, and the 8W fit with plenty of room for cushy socks. It was a toss up for me between these and a pair of Timberlands, which l really loved the look of, since they were not at all clunky, and I might even have worn those with tights and a skirt. But the Merrell’s definitely had superior arch support; I have issues with plantars fasciitis and I wore these all day for 7 days with no discomfort. Worth the extra $$, and the slightly clunkier appearance.

I ordered half a size bigger than my usual shoe size. This pair is comfortable right out of the box. Provides excellent ankle support. Slightly less flexible than the ventilator. Soles have good grip. The only complain I have is that the shoelaces are shorter and are difficult to do a double knot causing me to re-tie once in a while. This is not a deal-breaker for me. I have been using it constantly for six months now and is still holding up. I can see this lasting for a long time. I have not used it on a downpour, but have submerged it underwater which of course would not really test the waterproof features.

I am a first time hiker and purchased these boots just prior to our trip to California. We visited Sequoia national Park, Kings Canyon, Yosemite, Redwood national Forest, Humboldt national forest, Mendocino headlands, and Russian Gulch state park. We hiked over 50 miles, and these boots were fabulous. They gave support and traction and were extremely comfortable. It is doubtful that without these boots I could have done the difficult trails we trekked. As with any boot purchase, you should always buy a boot 1/2 size larger than your normal shoe size. This takes into account the socks that you will be wearing with them.

I purchased the Merrill Mohab 2 mid waterproof shoes and they are so very comfortable and give me the support I need to walk with. I had back surgery last year and Merrell shoes are the only shoes I can wear they are comfortable they keep me stable when walking and they always fit just right and they have great colors as well. I buy Merrill shoes for the whole family and we all love them. No one in my home ever complains about their feet thanks to Merrell

Bought these for my girlfriend, they were slightly smaller than we expected, but the process to exchange them was very easy. I recently ordered a similar pair for myself and have nothing but great things to say about Merrell.

After years of searching for a shoe with ankle support for a small but very wide foot in a woman's shoe, finally I found the Moab mid in wide width. This shoe fits exactly as I hoped it would. It is the most comfortable shoe I have found. It feels like a very comfortable slipper but with fantastic support all over. It is a hiking boot, but is super light weight. These boots felt wonderful from the minute I first put them on my feet. There was no "break-in" period necessary. They feel like they were tailor made specifically for my feet. THANK YOU MERRELL!

My feet are wide across the front and I have a narrow heel, making it a challenge to find shoes that fit. I ordered these is wide. There is ample room for my foot in the front but not so much room that my heel slips. I do wear good hiking socks and put some mole skin across the back of where my Achilles tendon is to thicken the area and to prevent blisters. This kept my foot from slipping. The first time I wore the boots, I did have to hike through some water (water going over the top of the toe a few times) and my feet stayed dry. The boots were very comfortable and provided enough support. I do have flat feet. I did wear the boots around the house several times before going hiking and the first hike was mostly flat.

I've been wearing Merrell's for a long time. During this time, I have tried to convince my wife to try them without any luck. When she started complaining about her last set of boots, I decided to act. I purchased a pair of Moab 2 boots in a wide width in her size (her biggest challenge has been finding wide width boots and she refused to buy any online). When the boots came, I had her try them on immediately and voila, they fit perfectly. She has used them a lot and really appreciates the fit, comfort and waterproof lining. My wife is a Merrell convert and we are happily walking over hill and dale in comfort.

I ordered these in a 6 - a half size larger than my usual 5.5 based on previous reviews and they are perfect. The ankle support was on of my most important concerns. Your ankles will NOT turn in these. I returned an earlier pair because the arch support is very high and the first pair bothered my right foot only - lower arch, I assume. I hoped that a different pair might not be so pronounced and I was right - slightly different - enough to be comfortable. Love the style and they are waterproof - important feature.

I went for a week in Colorado with my Girl Scouts, where everywhere we went it seemed like we were walking uphill! These boots saved my legs and feet. No sore feet, no sore legs and in fact I tried wearing my gym shoes while there, and found them not to be comfortable enough to be walking around on the hilly land at the YMCA Ranch we stayed at! SO GLAD I bought these boots. One of the best investments I have ever made! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I have never left a review for a product before this, but these boots are worth it - I have had these for over a year now and they are the best hiking boots I've ever owned. I'm in love with them. I bought them for the Inca Trail and have used them on dozens of hikes since, in all kinds of weather on all kinds of terrain. These boots take a beating & hold up like nothing else, are extremely comfortable, and keep my feet feeling great even after days and days of hiking. Best purchase I've ever made - buy these boots.

Bought these due to an ankle sprain . The extra support both on the side and foot bed is fantastic. I can wear these all day and my feet and ankle don't get tired or hurt!
