These are the most comfortable hiking shoes that I've ever owned. They have encouraged me to check out other Merrill shoes.

I am very happy on how comfortable the shoes are. Great arch support! Now I feel like my other shoes are inadequate. I will have to order more;)

I was pleasantly surprised that these hiking boots fit well right out of the box. I need a wide width due to an injury with my right foot. It's a tiny bit snug but after some breaking in I'm sure they will be fine. They are lightweight and give great support. Looking forward to wearing them in Canada very soon!

Hike in Merrell boots since I have RA in my feet. I've had 5 pair of Moab's in the last 10 years and they really are the best. We hike a minimum of 20 miles a week and with training for skiing usually more. We are training for the Classic Inca Trail as well as ski season and these boots are the best for comfort and support. Did part of Cinque Terre in Italy and sections of Caminito Del Rey in Spain last spring and the Moab's kept my feet mostly dry during rain storms. Recommend to all my hiker friends. My husband who has no feet issues loves them as well. Great boots for these two senior citizens who still hike!

I typically wear a size 7.5. I ordered an 8.0 and I found that was small, and I returned it. I ordered an 8.5, and that worked for me. Seriously, size up one FULL size!

Great shoe just seemed to run a bit smaller than I expected, but nothing that switching out to a half size bigger won't fix :)

This is my 3rd of 4th pair of the exact shoe although color is a little different from last pair, (green instead of blue on trim area; though picture does show blue). The green trim is fine. I ordered these same boots yet again because they are very comfortable and as far as hiking book go, they look good on!

I've bought these shoes before and I'll buy them again. I originally got them for backpacking but I wear them every day because they're comfy and great for my feet!

In 2011, I bought a pair of these boots for my trip to Alaska. I still have them & they are still in great shape. No need to "break" them in. I will buying a second pair to have at my summer home. Highly recommend the for comfort, wearability & endurance.

I was looking for a hiking boot that had great tread, kept my feet warm and fit well. I found all three in these boots. They have a good tread for slippery conditions; however, caution is still advised. My feet felt good in them. Overall, a great experience.

These Moab 2 Mid boots are great. I’m a big fan of Merrell hiking boots, and the reason I chose this style is because they come in a wide fitting and I have bunions. I added a pair of heel seats to give me extra arch and heel support, wore them on a 2 hour walk with the dog and they were really comfortable. Living in the north east I need waterproof boots and so far I haven’t had any issues, although I have only worn them through wet grass and along muddy tracks. I always order a whole size up in hiking boots to accommodate thick socks and allow for plenty of room when I’m walking down steep trails.

My first pair of Merrell boots and I could not be happier! I have wide feet and normally wear an 8-8.5 in shoes/boots but I tried these on in wide and found I needed to size down to 7.5 W and they fit like a glove. Bought them over they holidays while on vacation in Nashville and Have put on about 50 miles so far and can say there was no break in period and no rubbing for me! I hiked in them in 60 degree weather in KY and while walking the dogs for miles in Wisconsin winter since I came home. I have high arches and the only other shoe brand I found to support are brooks, but I think I'm a convert to Merrell! I bought the fiery shoe too. Merrell, Keep offering wide options!! Love them! Don't hesitate to buy these, you won't regret! The great part I was reassured by sales person that Merrell stands by their product if you ever have problems. That made me even more comfortable spending the price point.

They fit well right out of the box. They are very comfortable. They are not waterproof (I don't know why they are labeled as such; please remove that label), but they are comfortable and supportive. I like them a lot.

When I was looking for the perfect (for me) boot, I went through 9 different boots before i found these. I will admit, i didn't try these initially as I don't find them to be the most attractive boot. Every other boot gave me horrible blisters that no amount of tape or liner could fend off. Do not judge a boot by its looks. Being a person that has always had to tape my feet to protect them from blisters, I was extremely skeptical that these would be the boot, but I had a backpacking trip coming up and needed something in a hurry. I cannot say enough about the comfort of these boots. I have used them for long distance day hikes, snow hiking, as well as multi-day backpacking trips. Heck, I have warn these walking around the city on rainy/snowy days. I have easily put 300+ miles on my boots. I do not have to tape my feet for short hikes with these, as they keep my feet dry. They have kept the water out in small creek crossings and kept my feet warm. I can say the tread is getting a little slick with the miles and terrain they have endured, but I will be buying another pair without hesitation.

Very comfortable fit and great features. They are truly waterproof. Well made seams and fit as expected. The sole is tough and provides great grip when hiking tough terrain. Very easy to break in as well.

Great for problem feet. I have bone spurs on my big toes and hallux limitus on one big toe which causes swelling. I have tried numerous hiking boots. With other boots (including Oboz), the only way to get the depth to accommodate the swelling, I would have to size up and then they’d be too long. Again and again, in order to get the toe box wide enough, the heel was too wide. THESE ARE PERFECT. Deep with wide toe box but reasonable heel width. Soft and cushy too.

These boots feel amazing in many ways but beyond the usual aspects measuring the performance of a shoe of this function is the feeling of propulsion I have felt hiking in these boots. It is the sole in particular that offers this support and lift. Love this product and the bungee cord color is really attractive!!

I love these boots! They were comfortable right out of the box. I rated them as 'smaller than expected' because apparently they run smaller than most Merrell's. I thought they ran true to size -- but not compared to the other Merrell boots I ordered at the same time. In other words, I wear an 8 in other Merrell's, but I was most comfortable in the size 9 in this style.

Great for my problem feet. I have arthritic bone spurs and hallucinations limitus which causes swelling of the joint that joins my big toe to my foot. Nearly every shoe I try is too snug on top by that swelling. These are a dream! Like my feet feel better in them than naked. Toe box is wide but narrow enough at heel to prevent sloshing around. That’s almost impossible for me to find. And there’s enough depth to accommodate my swelling. I’ve walked the dogs with great pleasure. Planning a mountain hike in Utah in January. Will advise how they hold up to that.

I needed a softer boot than my stiff (but wonderful) Lowa Renegades. I'd heard good things about Merrell in general and specifically from someone who had used them to walk the Camino de Santiago, which I will be doing in May. I have a small, wide foot so was pleased to see that Merrell offered these in 5.5 wide. They fit perfectly and were comfortable right out of the box. i've worn them for whole days already with no complaints. i haven't het gotten them on the trail, but I'm sure they'll do just fine,
