I bought these shoes off of the recommendation of a friend who hikes a ton and is an avid researcher of hiking and all things outdoors. These shoes were her top recommendation and I could not be happier. As they are on the larger size for padding purposes, they do make my already big feet appear bigger but that doesn't detract from the comfort and functionality of this great hiking boot. I've taken them for a few difficult rated 8-10 mile hikes with varying terrain and haven't had a single blister. So far, loving this purchase!

I'm on my second pair of Moab 2 mid and I love them. Wore my last pair until they fell apart. Comfortable right up until the end. My foot is very wide and I find the men's boot fits perfectly...in regular, not wide. Not the same color choices, though, which is unfortunate.

This is my 2nd pair of Merrell Hiking Shoes and I am very pleased with this shoe. My 1st pair was 4 years ago and I wore them out. I recommended this brand of shoe to my adult daughter and she just got her 1st Merrell Hiking shoe and so far, she loves them too!

I absolutely love these boots. Great arch support and wonderful comfort for all day wear.

I sprained my ankle a week ago wearing sneakers, not good for hikes at all, I ordered these beautiful boots! And they are so comfy, like walking on pillows, sadly I do need to wait a little longer to use them for my hike though!

Right out of the box wearable. Great lightweight style. Comfortable and the sizing is the same as the pair ( jungle moc) I bought 20 years ago .

My first pair of hiking boots ever and they are amazing. I ordered my justin boot size and it fits perfect. Wore them for about 4.5 hrs on my first hike and I had no foot or leg pain that night.

This might get long but, I love these boots. I am a newby and knew jack diddly when I began my search for a good pair of hiking boots. I hate buying things online because they never fit or look the same but these boots are amazing! I didn't have to break them in hardly at all and I have yet to experience any foot pain after having them for nearly 2 months and my longest hike being 4 miles. Also, the boots are cute and I know that isn't the main concern by any means but it's a great bonus. They are a little wider than expected but thicker hiking socks fixed the issue right away and I still recommend ordering a half size up if possible.

So far the boots are very comfortable. They didn't really need to be broken in. I have only done a few short hikes with them but so far so good!

This is my first time purchasing hiking boots as I am just getting into trail hiking. I need to wear orthodics so choosing a size is always a bit of a guessing game in addition to whether or not the orthodics will sit in the shoe in a way that won't do more harm than good. I selected one full size up and they fit perfectly. The boot was comfortable from the get-go and after a 2.5 hour trail walk, my feet and legs felt just as good as they felt when I started the walk. The boot feels solid and looks great.

These boots fit comfortable right out of the box and become even more comfortable after a few miles. I have had my current low cut ones for 3 years and am excited to now have the boots. So excited, that I want them in 2 colors.

Great boot for hiking - feels very stable and secure on foot/ankle

This is my second pair and and like the first required no break in period. They are lightweight and have great support and stability. My first pair is still hanging in there and I only moved to a wide size to accommodate foot changes. Sizing is accurate. I use them for yard work to medium hiking. My first first choice!!

I love where and how the arch support of this hiker fits my foot. My first trip out with these was kayak camping so I didn't have a lot of space nor did I want extra weight. These hikers were able to fit right into a dry bag with my sleeping bag and a few other things, no problems. While hiking around the forest and hanging out at the camp fire, they kept my feet dry, warm, and comfortable. No complaints here.

This shoe is very comfortable. A bit small so I am reordering the next size. I highly recommend this shoe.

I bought a pair of Merrell cold weather boots many years ago and they were so comfortable and have lasted all this time. I recently purchased hiking boots and am blown away by how wonderfully they treat my feet. Even my back loves them! A tad bit pricey but well worth the investment.

These boots are comfortable and provide amazing support. I work on my feet up to 14 hours a day and walk 20 miles a day. My feet feel great at the end of the day!

I just returned from New Zealand for a 2 week hiking trip and wore my Merrell Moabs every day ! My feet were comfortable, dry and stable on all of the rough terrain! I'd recommend these to anyone ! By the way, another woman on our trip had her luggage lost between stops in the US . She had just enough time to go to a sport store before her flight to NZ , where she bought a pair of Merrill Moabs . From the very first day she said her boots and feet felt great ! See, they don't even need break-in time to be comfortable out on the hiking trails!
