I hike a lot so I got these to support my ankle. Not only do they support my ankle but they are comfortable on long hikes and I've never had the traction I have with these boots/shoes.

I recently used my Merrell hiking boots to go hiking at Big Bend National park. They were absolutely so comfortable to hike with. I highly recommend these boots for their durability and comfort.

Comfy from day 1!! Also, I was uncertain about how waterproof they'd be based on some of the other reviews...found out when I inadvertently stepped in a massive puddle. My feet were totally dry!

Great hiking shoes. True to size. Very comfortable. Didn't need any breaking in. Have done a couple of hikes so far and my feet haven't gotten wet. I would definitely recommend them.

My new Merrells are awesome. They were comfortable right out of the box and have been out on the trail everyday since.

I buy a new pair of these every year or two because I basically live in them. Lightweight, comfortable from the day you put them on, waterproof until they get old, they are perfect for all but the most extreme days out in the woods...

I have a long, narrow foot, and usually have to buy a men's size in running and hiking shoes. I took a chance on these, and am glad I did. The toe box is roomy, while the boot hugs my instep to keep my foot from sliding. The arch support is positioned just right to protect my plantar fascia. My first hike was a hilly 4 miles, and my feet felt great throughout.

I just put these on for the first time so I'm not writing from having hiked in them yet, but I'm thoroughly impressed so far. I ordered a half size up in the wide version and they're perfect. Also the colours are much nicer than in the photos. Can't wait to try these out.

Broke them in on the Mt Leconte trail in the Smokey's. After 12 miles nothing but dry happy feet!

These boots are really comfortable. They are padded all around, and have room in the toe box. Merrell boots are really sturdy. These boots replaced a very old pair (Siren model) that wore out in the toe, even though the sole of the boot is still intact. Shipping is fast - the boots arrived in a couple of days.

Took these on a short hike (a few miles, dirt path) to break them in, but it really didn't need it. Next was Sedona and Grand Canyon. These were SO comfortably and sturdy. I loved the waterproof function in puddles and muddy areas. I normally wear size 8.5, but size 8 fit perfect with socks.

My MIL gave me these after she just didn't use them enough. I had never owned a pair before, but now I will only purchase this brand! Even second hand, they are the most comfortable and durable pair of hiking boots I've ever owned! Recently bought my son his first pair as well, he also loves them!

Super boot/shoe, comfortable, well made. Had a pair a few years ago but tried another brand and went back to my Merrills. Waterproof but I spray them with waterproofing anyway.

Great boots! I need a toe box that is forgiving due to ingrown nail issues and these were great. Besides that, I was able to wear them out of the box for a nice two hour hike with no issues.

We walk our rnature trails daily, no matter what the weather is. Our Moab 2's are up for the challenge and our feet love 'em!

I loved this hiking shoe! So comfy and great grip. I recently did a 2.5 hr hike with it. I bought half size bigger. It seemed nice and comfy and big when i tried my usual size but it was tight in the front (and will be if you hike down a mountain and your foot comes forward) so i recommend half size up!

Are these really waterproof? Heck ya! Denver just got 2.5 feet of snow and the next day got up to 60+ degrees so everything was melting. I took my dog for a walk and the gutters were overflowing with water. We couldn't jump them. I stepped in them a bunch of times and my pants were wet but my feet were toasty and dry. We stepped in numerous snow banks and promptly sunk into water as the snow was melting below but you couldn't tell from the top. My feet stayed dry! Seriously, these are the shoes I've been looking for all winter!

These are the only shoes that I, someone with EDS, can wear without excruciating pain! I mean I'm still in some pain but in much less! They're also waterproof for winter! Also I am 20 lol messed up joints

These hiking boots are the best I have found for my aging, troubled feet that still love wandering trails every single day. The quality, the support, and the look of them works wonders for me!

Most comfortable boots I've ever owned! Love them and I have picky sensitive feet!
