Perfect fit and comfort for hiking in Yellowstone National Park, without the awkward breaking-in period. Waterproofing worked great for hiking through snow and streams. Love these shoes!

Purchased these a few months ago, waited to review until I'd hiked several times. My 4th hike was literally an 8 hour hike up and back to the peak of Mt. Mitchell in NC! Not one blister, red/hot spot, or problem! I was not sure I'd like the higher ankle as I've always bought the lower style. I'm glad I read the reviews and decided to go with these! Well worth the price and I know they will last forever! My very first pair of Merrell was the Jungle Moc and I'm not kidding when I say I still wear them....they were bought in 2002 :) I probably own close to 50 pair of Merrell! They are the best!!

Great for my weekly hikes. Glad I got a half size bigger than I usually wear because I considered my thick hiking socks. Great hiking shoes. Highly recommend!!

I purchased these boots to go hiking and snow shoeing in Olympic State Park in Washington. They were very comfortable, never got wet, and didn't have to break them in before wearing them. My feet were very warm. I love my boots and will purchase more in the future.

I hiked 1,300 miles on this shoes, 25 miles per week for 13 months. Still in good condition but little minor tear. Thus I bought second pair again! Thanks for such a well made boots! I love it. Very reasonably priced too!

I purchased these boots because I had developed ankle issues after knee surgery. I needed a shoe/ boot which would provide the support my ankle needed. Although I am not a mountain climber , I do work vigorously in my yard as well as on my feet 8 hrs at my job at the local assisted living facility. These boots did the job and my ankle is improving every day. Thank you Merrell.

I wear a size 10 Women's, but went up 1/2 a size for these shoes. Best way to go for me. The fit was perfect! Took them on a hike a few weeks ago and had zero issues. Comfortable the 8+ miles.

A beautiful shoe! Comfortable, supportive, breathable, and most definitely water resistant! I have not tried wading through a creek yet, but they stay dry when traversing puddles and cutting through rain storms. Highly recommend!!!

Felt great hiking in them, no vent though so my feet did get warm after hiking for a while. All around great,very satisfied

These shoes were WONDERFUL on my feet- and as someone who has had multiple foot fractures/sprains/a surgery and has struggled with plantar fasciitis the last few years, I was super nervous about how my feet would feel with all the hiking I was doing (7ish miles/day). I hiked Angels Landing in Zion park in the rain and my feet did not get wet, and the grip on the shoes was fabulous. I sized up, and did get a wide. Definitely recommend that if you're on the verge of a wide, I typically don't wear wide. Everyone raves about these boots, and I personally could not recommend them more!

I have extra wide plus feet . One foot has had had extensive surgery including a plate and screws to create an arch. The other foot is flat and hurts in most shoes. Both my over the ankle Moabs and regular Moabs fit both of my fit comfortably enough for me to take 5-7 miles hikes on rough desert terrain. I wear the over the ankle during "snake season" for added protection. I have also worn them motorcycle riding. They are solid with extra room in the toe box .

This is my second pair of this hiker. I was able to wear both pairs right out of the box and hike. No need to break them in, and they are very comfortable. I bought both pairs a half size bigger than I usually wear and they were perfect!

Here's the deal: I never write reviews and I love these boots so much that here I am! I bought the same size as my tennis shoes and these fit perfect; and are a major upgrade from the tennis shoes I thought I could get away with on my first ever trip to Moab. The name fits as well as the shoe, and I received my order very fast. :D
