This is my first ever pair of hiking boots, I usually just wear tennis shoes...but these were GREAT! My ankles and feet held up SO much better than they usually do. I wore them for a couple walks around the neighborhood before taking them to Acadia National Park, but it really wasn't necessary to break them in. Great buy!

High quality hiking boots, comfortable, stable, great traction. Very happy with this purchase.

I really like these boots. I mistakenly bought a half size too small and had black and blue toes for a while. But even so, these boots held up well and kept my feet warm and dry. I bought them and wore them the next day, literally no reason to break them in they're comfortable as is.

My first Merrell shoe. Great experience, on trails. I have a wide foot and hard to fit. Did well on trails with grib and cushion. I chose the higher for ankle support and was pleased. I am thinking of getting the lower for a walking shoe.

Great boots, comfortable right away, and waterproof

I put these on and walked 6 miles. No problems. Comfortable.

This is a great boot. It is nearly impossible for me to find wide sizes, but this one was perfect. No pinching, the ankle support is great and the undersole sticks to rocks, roots and rubble beautifully. It is also nicely waterproof since my feet were dry even after crossing streams and walking through wet grass. After starting with a few smaller hikes, at the beginning, to be sure my feet wouldn't hurt, it wasn't even necessary. They were and are very comfortable. The only downside, is now that I want to buy another pair to store away for when these are finished, there are none available anywhere. Hopefully, they will come back soon in my size.

I bought these boots in the summer. They are FANTASTIC!! Lightweight, breathable, and so comfortable. I have a terrible back and these boots help. Great arch support. I wear them everywhere!! You will not be disappointed. Can't wait to get the low cut ones!!

amazing comfort right out of the box! First hike was 2 hours long with no issues. Had the shoes about a month now. They are very comfortable, good grip on the bottom for coming down steep terrain and feet have stayed warm and dry through many wet and muddy spots.

These boots are truly waterproof, I stepped in water over the shoelaces and my foot stayed dry!

These boots are amazing. I went in a 6 hour hike for the first wear and no pain on my feet. I highly recommend them!

Love these boots. I had to buy men's as the women's were not wide enough. If they came in XX-wide the women's would have been perfect. Returned with no problem and new ones came quickly

This is my first waterproof shoe. It was a rainy day in LA and my street gets flooded. I didn't realize was all that bad until I saw that I stepped into in ankle deep water. Dry as a bone. Good stuff. My every day Moab boot's laces are getting pretty worn tho. Good think I have spares from old moabs.

Comfortable right out of the box. First day I wore them was on a 10 mile rocky hike . Very supportive and comfortable!
