What I love about Moab hikers is that they have half sizes to 12.5 I am most comfortable in 12.5 and Merrell is the only manufacturer that I know that makes a wide 12.5 Hiker! I wore these out of the box hiking the dunes of Lake Michigan and I have to say they were perfect. The waves on the beach crashed over the boot several times and my feet were totally dry. The sand did not get wedged into any of the fabric on the outside of the boot, and I was able to climb the sand dunes just as easy with the boots on as being barefoot. These are worth the price for their comfort and fit. I will get another pair just because I love being in them.

Being an AKA amputee, it is extremely difficult for me to find a shoe or boot that I can comfortable wear without making modifications to the insole and continue to have a productive and active life. A live of running, hiking and just working and being in the outdoors. My Merrell Agility Peak Tactical Shoe, Moab 2 Mid, and Yokota Mid, and the Moab 2 Tactical have been my best footwear purchase ever.

I've worn Merrell light hikers for several years now. The quality is great and they fit my feet well. I've gone thousands of miles in Merrells, so when I need new boots I just get another pair of Merrells. The recent ones were of the same fit and quality I've come to expect, comfortable right out of the box.

I try to walk at least an hour each day and these boots allow me to do so. They don't need any break-in period. I use them on pavement, broken roads and moderate trails. Pure comfort!!!

These shoes are consistently high quality. The moab 2 has great foot support and traction. This shoe fits my hiking needs perfectly. I like them so much, this is the second pair of these I have purchased. This time I went with the dark blue/gray color. I really like that color. Thanks Merrell!

Honestly, this was my first pair of real hiking shoes and I couldn't be more pleased! I've already put good use to them and it's the best pair of shoes I've ever had! 5 hour hikes are nothing with these and I've stepped in mud, puddles and streams with completely no water inside. I'm buying another pair of Merrell shoes for work because I'm on my feet 10+ hours a day and I usually come home unable to walk. Definitely recommend!!!

Comfortable right out of the box. Lightweight. Good support and traction. Great in the woods. Great in town. I recommend!

This boot is very nice. It's sturdy yet comfortable. With the suede you don't need a break-in period so that's really nice. You can use it for all day wear even. It has good slip resistance unlike some I've had. I read that some had issues with the water proofing. Well, when it rained on them I didn't feel wetness inside. That's what I do know.

Worn Merrell Moab 1's for as long as they were made. My last pair finally gave out. I ordered a different brand of boots this time. It was a mistake. They got sent back . Ordered Moab 2 Mid Waterproof. Received last week and very pleased. Still a great boot for me.

I bought my first pair, Earth, in North Conway, New Hampshire in October 2019. We traveled up Mt Washington on the COG, we walked all over the top of the "Rock Pile" and throughout the Franconia Notch. The MOAB are by far the best boots ever. From the time I put them on they were WINNERS. After getting back to Florida, I went on line looking for another pair in another color. I choose the GOLD, attractive, different but really cool looking. I wear them both every chance I get. I even wore them to pressure wash our driveway. They looked trashed. I washed them off, took out the inner soles and set them to dry. One hour later in the Florida sun, they were perfect !! Couldn't be happier, with them.

Comfortable and supportive right out of the box. I've only worn them a few times so far but they are nice and have good traction and easy to wear. Sized accurately for a solid fit across the foot with nice room in the toe area.

Good construction; solid materials. Excellent fit. The wide size has a very comfortable wide toe box. Comfortable and durable. No break-in needed. Waterproof works well. Sole grip is incredible!

I prefer to wear these hiking boots over my sneakers. They are my favorite and wear them everyday no matter what activity I'm doing.

After wearing competitors boots, this is the real deal. My feet are comfortable, and the sizing is spot on. The boot is not only comfortable to wear on a hike, but for everyday use as well. Fabulous boot and I would recommend it to anyone who needs an intermediate hiking boot.
