These things are the furthest thing from being waterproof. I have a pair of water resistant shoes that do a better job than these. Highly disappointed

Previously submitted a review for this item and wasn't posted... Am completely disappointed in these boots. Bought them in Dec. 2017 for the sole purpose of having a waterproof boot. They're comfortable enough and have reasonable arch support, but I wouldn't have bought them if they weren't "waterproof". Well I had a few moments during the winter that made me wonder if they were leaking but I thought perhaps some snow had gotten inside. Now, in the fall, I take my dogs out on the lawn for a walk in the morning and just the dew on the grass results in my socks getting totally soaked! So in nine or ten months or less, the waterproof feature is totally gone, and I've been very easy on these boots, low mileage. I see this failure as a recurring theme with many versions of this Merrell product. It would be nice if Merrell could do something to remedy this problem for me.

fit is so poor as to size tried from 10.5 M to w to11.5 all do not fit well.

I am a fan of Merrell Moab having owned a previous pair for about 5 years. I recently ordered a new pair that arrived within 3 days of placing my order. I then took them out of the box and tried them on, they fit perfectly. I then looked down at them to discover that the toe caps on the boots did not match. The right boot toe cap was wider and installed higher than the left boot , they were not a matching pair!

Do not buy this boot if you truly need a waterproof boot. They fit great and are very comfortable when it's dry outside, but they are NOT waterproof. I was 5 miles back in a Colorado wilderness area on a hunt when it rained and had to end the hunt 2 days early due to wet feet from these waterproof boots. I am extremely disappointed in my purchase of these boots.

I bought these boots hoping for a true fitting wet weather boot. They fit me nicely despite e my EEE width foot and required no break in period. I was very pleased wit h these boots until it rained. Both feet were soaked after 30 minutes of walking my dog through toe deep grass. That's not my definition of waterproof.

This boot is comfortable. I purchased a half size larger. No break-in period. Boots are great except for the water inside waterproof boots. The boots were replaced once but I was told the store would do this only once. The first set leaked in both boots. The second set of boots only the right boot leaked. I guess it's an improvement?!?

The boots arrived but they were to narrow. The only available selection on the width was medium. Not sure why a boot company would only have one selection for width. Most of my team members have merrell boots that's why I bought them. I had to send them back because they were to short and too narrow. Waiting for my refund.

From the day I got these boots in August 2017, they were not waterproof. A walk across dew soaked grass left my toes wet. Water seeped in through the top. This was my first pair of Merrell boots and will likely be my last. Would not buy again.

Poor SupportGreat Support
Most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn!
*Arch support too far back - caused heel pain.
*No cushioning, like walking on a pair of bricks
*Very tight fit, forget about wearing thick socks
*Traps moisture, shoes damp after a day in them
Sorry nothing good to say.

I work outside climbing ladders, walking on roofs. Walking through yards and around scrubs (sometimes wet yards and scrubs). Also I will spend a third of my day inside houses without my shoes on. I have 2 pair of water proof hiking boots, alternating pairs every day. (Only wearing them on workdays). One pair was Merrell Moab, the other is another brand. I went through 3 pairs of Merrell Moab,s in less than 2 years. First pair broke down after 8 months, returned them to the store where I purchased them. They replaced them, 6 months later, that pair broke down. I took them back to the store they said they will not replace a 2nd pair because they only replace one pair. They suggested that I call the company. I called Merrell and explained what happened. I sent them a proof of purchase. They were really nice and sent me a new pair straight from the factory. 8 months later the same exact thing happened. The sole right where its supposed to be the most flexible, completely separated from the shoe on all 3 pairs. Very poor quality. Merrell needs to fix that problem.

I wear these landscaping. I have only worn these boots for 2 weeks and my feet get soaked waking in the wet grass NOT waterproof by any means. Biggest waste of money on boots that are supposed to be water proof save your money and time and buy some better boots then these!! By the way my boots where so wet on the inside they had to sit one my boot dyer for a whole day to get them dried out !!

Went on a 30 mile backpacking trip with high expectations....but the vegetation on the trail was damp and the boots were not waterproof as claimed. I had a miserable 4 days of wet feet. Very disappointed.

This boot leaks like crazy. Even morning dew on grass results in wet feet. How can they advertise this boot as waterproof?

These boots are really comfortable, fit great right out if the box and wear well . Buyer beware..they aren't waterproof, not even close. You'll have wet socks walking across a wet lawn.
