Just starting to get back into running before Hoka was struggling with a fairly significant case of Plantar Fasciitis

The arch support in the Hoka Infinite was too pronounced but the support on the Arahi is perfect for me. Switched from running in the Saucony Guide with no regrets. I did go from wearing a size 12.5 Guide to a size 12 with the Arahi.

I LOVE THESE SHOES!! I wore these shoes for the Tough Ruck, a 26.2 mile ruck through Concord, Lexington and Lincoln, Ma. The route was a mix of pavement, dirt trails and wooden bridges. The Hoka Arahi provided great support and cushioning throughout the entire 26.2 mile course. Being 6'4" and 275 lbs, I had a different time finding shoes that provided the impact cushioning that would last even 15 miles. I would recommend these shoes for anyone looking for a good pair of shoes for serious training.

I am FEMALE and have wide feet. I was jealous of my husband's goodlooking Black/Gold Arahi. The women's Arahi are WAY WAY TOO SMALL in width and length in the size I usually buy, and the one women's size in wide was in a color I totally hated. So I went online and found the Men's comparable size for my Women's size 9. I bought Arahi Men's 7.5 in wide AND LOVE THEM! The color. The fit. The style. And most importantly they feel FABULOUS while walking or running. DONT CHANGE THESE SHOES!!! PLEASE!!! I do have to use the top-most lace hole to keep my heal from slipping in and out but it works great!

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)

Runs NarrowRuns Wide
Poor SupportGreat Support
The shoe fit my foot very well, with ample room in the toe box. I might have been able to go down 1/2 size, but the shoe fits well enough that it wouldn't be worth the effort. The first run was a slight break in, and by the second run, I didn't notice any hot spots or discomfort. The shape of the sole is slightly rounded, which helps for running, but does make walking feel slightly odd. I used to wear Brooks, Saucony, and Adidas, but I think this shoe may have won me over for my running shoes. All in all, I am happy with this purchase and no regrets.

I was looking for stable shoe from Hoka to replace my Asics Nimbus 18's that wore out too fast. Not only does the Arahi fit the stability need it also helped me prevent a delveloping bout of plantar fasciitis. My only negative is the toe box; its a little narrow. Will probably go up a half-size or go with wide next purchase.

These were a gift for my son, who hates running. Civil Air Patrol (CAP) requires some running for PT. After trying various shoes over the past couple of years, we have found the shoe for his foot, gait and other needs. He is learning to like running in his Hoka One One Arahi.

Me... male, 5'7", 150lbs - training for 2nd marathon (somewhere well in the masters age group...) Zero break-in period - felt perfect from step 1 running @ 7.5 mph on flat and up to 4% hills. have several other Hoka shoes - Conquest2, Clayton, Challenger ATR3.. These Arahi feel to best the best of all these rolled into one awesome shoe. Supportive, Lite, Low Impact Rocker, and Fast. I did note that the Arch Support is minimal - but - I have higher arches than most. As a result I replace the generic insole with semi-custom off-the-shelf insoles in all my shoes. This completely corrects this for me.

This is my third pair of Hoka shoes. Each has been better than the previous. They always make people think they are heavy, but they are not. My Tracers were the only ones that didn't draw that comment. My feet never hurt and when new, give me motivation to go running.

Have been wearing the Kayano series for several years for stability, but got a bad case of Planar in my Kayano 23's as they were nearing end of life. Decided to go to running store and was suggested I try the Arahi's. I have put 75 miles on them and all is good so far. Even the planar issues are less severe. Great feel, great stability, so far I am a fan.

Took this to an eight mile run out of the box, same as my other HOKAs, almost no need to break this in, the volume feels like Bondi 5 but much lighter and more responsive, the cushion feels a little less than my favorite Clifton 3 but with very similar ride, it does not feel my feet sinks into my shoes as much as the Clifton 3. Pros: Wide is available. Without the wide size the upper might be a problem, I think the tightness of the 3D print might hinder the stretchiness of the upper (Just a concern) I do like the 3D print design ! Good Support with the J Frame technology and feels very lite. Could really feel the metal rocker probably due to the tapered cut at the heel. The insole support is soft and good More hard rubber sole surfaces at the bottom (Hoping the sole will be more durable than Clifton 3) Cons: The tapered cut at the heel feels weird when walking, need to get used to, but does not bother me when Im running since I land on my midfoot. The padded tongue looks like it's very similar to my Clifton 3 with the padded curl on the edge, which stops and secure my shoe lace and lock in my foot very well, with the Arahi it seems the padding is less or softer, while running on my 4th mile, I felt the pressure of the shoe lace and have to loosen it a bit. Conclusion: Over all it's a really good max cushioned with minimal drop with support running shoes, it's a mix between Clifton 3 and Bondi 5, light and responsive, does not feel like you're wearing a heavy stability shoes (Similar the BEAST !), so far no hot spots for me. It's a keeper ! Wish List: All the colors are available in wide ! Enjoy and keep on Running !

Loved Bondi 4 wide, and needed a new pair after 300 miles or so. Tried Bondi 5 wide, but I couldn't get comfortable in them. For whatever the reason, my soles get hot and got blisters. Out of desperation, tried Arahi wide. Did 8 miles out of the box & no problem. Super comfortable shoes. Fit extremely well. I did skip the lacing holes on the second row, as I have large bunionette, hence wide shoes. I recommend arahi to anyone with wide feet now.

These are the 3rd pair of HOKAS I own now and I love them! I used to train very hard. Unfortunately, I am fighting a losing battle against Bile Duct Cancer. I wear my HOKAS when I am in the hospital and tell all of my nurses and doctors about them. So many have gone to my favorite place here in the Greenville, South Carolina area, GottaRunSimpsonville/Clemson/Spartanburg. My pal Drew is so attentive as is the staff at ALL of their locations. I can't wait to pick up my Arahis on Wednesday! I am anxious to try out the ORA recovery sandal. Awesome work as always HOKA! I am a customer for the last 3 years and will likely die wearing my favorite shoes!
