Tried the Clifton but returned b/c too narrow. The Arahi in wide is a much better fit. Great cushioning!

I am a size 11 in women's, but always go up a size, so I had to go to men's due to hoka only going to an 11 in women's sizing... I've had feet problems, specifically ball of foot pain, and these shoes really do the trick...love them.. I feel faster on my runs too, and they are great in the gym!

Feels great, was sent to this shoe company by my podiatrist.. i had arch issues to were i couldn't walk moreless run. Rested for a few weeks, tried these shoes and its been so much comfort since! I used to run in nikes and adidas but won't anymore. All hook shoes are top notch for cushion and comfort. I also have herniated disc in back and these shoes help cushion my back more then any other shoe

Great combination of comfort and stability for long distances. Sole promotes flat step, correcting my supination. I'm getting another pair of Hoka, recommended by my neurosurgeon for my lumbar pathology (he wears them).

An amazing stability, supportive shoe that is lightweight and well cushioned! The best stability running shoe! Great looking too!

I average about 20-30 miles per week and run races ranging from 5Ks to marathons. I moderately over-pronate so I have been wearing stability shoes for the past 7 years. My last pair were the Hoka Infinite's and while I liked them very much the wide toe box caused occasional blistering near the big toe on one foot, on runs past 10 miles. I would have bought another pair but they were discontinued. I was excited to try the new Arahi and when I laced them up I realized they were even better than the Infinite, feeling lighter while not sacrificing stability. My only issue was that the toe box was a bit narrow so I decided on the wide width, size 10.5 which is my normal size. I have logged about 40 miles on them and while still early I have to say these are the best shoes I have owed in years, maybe ever. My only comments to the Hoka team are as follows: 1. Please DO NOT discontinue this shoe 2. Please DO NOT tweak major components of this shoe in your next release 3. Please continue to offer this shoe in a wide width I think you have created something great here and hopefully fellow over-pronators will realize the same...

Best Hoka for over probate issues, but offers the cushion Hoka is known for. First run today was smooth sailing. Love the fit and feel and great quality and design.

I'm a kickboxing instructor and after training in my own workouts, I like to wear these Arahis to train clients; as I'm on my feet all day. I tried on so many pairs of shoes, almost every Hoka and these Arahis were amazing. Hokas are far more comfortable and higher quality than most.

Shoe strings are slick and this makes the toe box tighten up as you run. Replacement cures this issue but it would be nice if the original strings held their position.

Its a quality Hoka shoe. Light, smooth, great fit. Improvement- I'd like the laces to tighten up and stay tight during my long runs.

I wasn't sure I should review these shoe since I returned them, but thought I'd give my thoughts. First off they seem pretty well made and a better looking shoe than the website pictures portray. They are VERY comfortable to stand in. My feet are flat as boards and always have been although the wear on my shoes shows that I walk and run fairly neutral. The Arahi have fantastic arch support; maybe almost too much but they are a comfortable and supportive shoe. If I had a job where I had to stand all day I would have kept these and bought a backup pair. I have a desk job though and only stand at the occasional tradeshow where I need dress shoes. It's walking where I just don't like these at all. I never tried a pair of those "rocker" type shoes, but these feel like I imagine those to feel. It's like the heel is too low or the midfoot of the sole way too thick. I don't know how someone could walk around in these. Running is fine as I'm on my toes or midfoot, but I think I would hurt myself walking in these. It's too bad because I love the support and cushioning of this shoe, but it's just not quite right for me.

Super comfortable shoes. I? was suffering from plantar fasciitis and looking for something to ease my heel and arch pain. These shoes were fantastic. They felt like marshmallows under my feet. I?’ve worn then everyday for about 3 months and I? feel like they’ve worn down and lost support. I’ve heard Hoka don’t last very long and I’m finding that to be true with my first pair. But they did wonders for my heel pain and I? would highly recommend the Arahi’s. Just be aware you may have to replace them sooner than other shoes.

Toe box is too tight. I have two pairs and have run multiple races including the NYC Marathon, a half marathon, a 15k and a Ragnar Relay in them. They wear rather quickly and the toe box is too narrow to allow for foot spread in long races.

These are the most comfortable shoe I ever worn ..have many miles on them thus far and still has a lot of cushion and support ..I'm really impressed with this brand and gonna buy another pair to rotate so they last longer ..
