I bought these pants for a hiking trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons and were a perfect choice for the variations in weather (rain and shine/warm and cold). Even when I slid down a rocky hill on my knees the pants didn't rip even though I was cut up pretty good underneath. I would definitely buy these again.

Great all around pant. Bonus that they're reasonably priced. Add the Northface return policy, and these are now my favorites.

Loved these. So comfortable. I'm short, so they were a little long but I'm used to it.

I got these in black, medium, and 30 inch inseam, and they are perfect! I'm 5'4", 145lb and typically a medium, so these are true to size. I already have two pairs of the capri versions, and these are as great as those - they look at feel good. I'll use them primarily for hiking.

Love these pants, so cute AND they are long enough, thank you!! Nice stretch for those of us with various body issues, very forgiving. Only problem I can see is I wish I would never see another slash pocket, what is the point of having them, things fall out. However these are a little deeper than some so I'll give it a pass- also there is a zippered pocket on one side.

I am 6'0"/170 and have a difficult time finding pants that truly fit. I appreciate the adjustable waistband, and the length is good. I really wish these were came in Tall sizes, but alas, my wish remains unmet. The style is fun, and these will be perfect for my adventures here and abroad. I purchased 2 pair, and hope NF will add some colors to the line up in the future.

Great pants for hiking on a rainy day.

Light and super comfortable!

I purchased these for a trip I took in May to the Pacific NW. These were perfect! I wore them in the rain, hiking and they were super comfortable and kept me dry. I would totally buy them again. My one and only complaint is how wrinkly they get when you wash them, and the tag says not to iron them...I just wear them wrinkled when I'm hiking but would love to be able to unwrinkle them to wear them around running errands etc.

A big thank you to all the prior reviewers of these pants and for the photos because the 'stock' photos on Zappos don't do these pants justice. They are SO comfortable. I purchased a pair for some outdoor adventuring in N.C. and they were perfect for hot humid days in the sun. Better yet - I think I'm going to like them for moderately cool beach days in C.A. as well. These pants easily allow you to bend over, balance on your toes while crouched down or lift/bend without tugging anywhere. Plus the tailoring is very flattering. I liked these so much after trying them on (before I even got to wear them outdoors - which sealed the deal)... I ordered another color. They are EXCELLENT travel pants.

Absolutely love these pants for hiking. There is a cord in ankle bottom that lets you tighten. Great for hot weather and unexpected rain - the material dries super quick.

OMG theses pants are the best! They have become a staple in my wardrobe. I Originally bought a pair because I was having shoulder surgery and needed something comfy and easy. I ended up loving them so much I bought many more; at least one of each color. Additionally, I talked about how great they were and wore them so often my friend tried a pair to see if they lived up to the hype. Now she owns multiple pairs too!

These pants are great! Thin but nice material. Perform really well in high heat. Very flattering to the back side as well.

Ordered these for my 18-year-old daughter who needed long pants for a summer archaeological dig in the desert. They are perfect. Cool yet supremely comfortable. She has to "squat" all day while excavating and the pants move with her thanks to the fabric waistband. They are also flattering and somehow feminine. She is 150 pounds, 5'5" (fit, but a small belly) and the mediums fit her perfectly.

Great pants! Lightweight, super comfy and stylish. I especially like the fact these pants are available in a shorter inseam since I typically feel weird having to hem workout clothing.

Love these pants! They fit nicely without binding at the waist. I typically order a size up to allow for being able to sit more comfortably - without feeling too snug at the waist. Unfortunately many clothing manufacturers assume that means the slacks need to be larger all over; not always true. They are the only brand I have found online that does not assume larger means larger everywhere. Comfort without sacrificing style. Machine washable (cold);dry quickly; no ironing required. Lightweight material is perfect for summer. I've ordered several pair & plan to order more.

These are my favorite pants. I had a pair in XL but after losing some weight, I bought the next size down. I cannot be without these in my wardrobe. They are so comfortable. These are the perfect travel pants because you can wash them in the sink and they dry quickly. I want them in every color. Just wish they were not so expensive.

I wear these to hike in. They are perfect. They are really comfortable and allow a full range of motion and at the same time protect you from poison oak and other things that scratch along side the trail. They are very breathable and lightweight.

I liked these pants a lot! Super comfortable and less money than the competitors.
