These are fabulous. Lightweight tough durable. XL is a forgiving size that has accommodated me they various weight changes. I’ve got some pilling on the inner thigh after 2 years but that’s within limits.

These are cute pants. I have the capri version that I've worn in summer the last couple years. I bought these for a ski trip - wore them with and without long johns underneath. I am 5'6" usually need a 31" inseam so I bought the 32", and should have hemmed them. A bit long, but easily resolved.

This pant is my go to pant and The 2.0 version I hope they keep making...got multiple in every color...workout, hike, walk, coffee, yoga and dinner out (black and navy)...travel and walk the dog too! They shape well and the small is true to size and regular legnth for 5'5"...really thrilled with this pant! Thanks North Face

i bought two pairs of these pants for a six-week trip through South America, including hiking in both cold and hot climates, and they are fabulous. The fit is perfect and the wide waistband is incredibly comfortable. The material is lightweight and breathable, and you can easily put a base layer underneath for additional warmth. The material will withstand a little bit of rain but it is not waterproof (although they are quick drying, except for the waistband). They are also very flattering. My one comment is I wish they had leg pocket; if you wear them with a pack, it can be a little hard to access the pockets at the waist. But I do like the fact that there is a zippered pocket at the waist, which can fit an iPhone or other items you may want to secure. Finally, you can use the elastic on the bottom hem to roll up the pants to a mid-calf or capri length in warmer weather.

Had been looking for a pair of pants like this for a while. Had a similar pair by a different brand but this TNF pair is exactly what I was looking for. The fit is true to size, they are really stylish and lightweight.

At 5'4 and 160 lbs, I have these pants in multiple sizes and colors. The regular Large size I am able to wear running tights under and walk outside during some winter days. The short Large size I wear for physical therapy sessions, traveling, running errands, & walking outside during mild temperatures. It seems the North Face runs out of stock quickly on the Large, Short length size. The Regular Medium size is a "good" alternative. They are a closer fit on my narrow-hipped body, and I wear them for travel.

I love how my gear looks and fits and i got my sister to buy some...so definitely will be getting another pair.

It is a very nice pair of hiking pants. Very light weight and soft.

Love the pants. I hike 40 miles a week and it is the most comfortable pair of pants I have hiked in.

I wish I could get away with wearing these pants everyday. They are so comfortable and lightweight.

I love these pants! They are non-binding, lightweight and dry very quickly. They are lightweight enough to wear leggings underneath in the cold and not absolutely swelter to death. They stretch out just a tiny bit but not so much that you feel like they will fall off. I have 4 pair of these in all the different colors.

I have worn these for several years in black and love them. I started adding colors the last two years. The dune beige this year has tan undertones. Last year’s light color was more of a light khaki/beige with green undertones. Different and both are nice to have. I am a size 4 in most pants and the small fits great with a little room, but still very flattering.

The best hiking pants I have ever had. The fitting is TTS and flattery. The fabric is soft and breathable. Although I noticed a little pilling on the pocket the first I wore it, It doesn't affect me at all. Great product! The similar pants from lululemon is less breathable which makes it uncomfortable unless you size it up. Highly recommend this product!

These pants are awesome. They're on the light side, but I just put a pair of leggings on underneath on colder days. I'm 5'3" 115lbs. and I got the xs. The fit is perfect.

These are absolutely my favorite pants! I bought a pair last year and went back for two more pairs. Then I purchased the capris and shorts version this summer. I love all three versions, but my favorite are the pants and the shorts. I hope North Face doesn't quit making these anytime soon because the fit and comfort level are classic. The only down side I can think of is that the material does tend to snag and pill fairly easily. I also use a base layer underneath when the weather is chilly.

Just bought these. Don't want to take them off. Super comfy, very movable. I travel a lot and these are my new go to pants. Definitely getting more.

I wear them coaching and for PT. I also wear them doing errands and casual date night.

These pants are super comfortable. I ordered a size small and except for the extra two inches of extra length on the pant legs, they fit great. I am 5'7" and usually wear a size 4 pants. The pants are super lightweight. I especially love that they don't have any zippers, snaps or buttons around the waist that would rub when wearing a backpack.

I have two pair of these pants and will be buying more soon!

I teach elementary school and I wear these pants every day. I have them in 3 colors, would like to see more choices in the darker tones (navy blue !?)

I wore these in the Amazon for three days and they were very breathable and didn't trap any smells from sweat. Bought them in another color too.

Very comfortable. Intended for travel and safari. I'm 5'8", 128 pounds and a size small was a good fit I bought two additional pairs. Light weight for packing and for washing/drying while traveling. Fabric resists wrinkles. They have style and look good.
