Quality seems good but these really run small. Probably one size I think.

I bought these after researching all the water resistant pants I could find. I love all the features about them. The omni-shield was most important to me along with light weight for travel and of course comfort. They are so comfortable you almost forget you have pants on. My only disappointment is that they look nicer with pressing.
Especially if you roll them up for crop pants. I am 5'2" with a 28" inseam so the 29.5" inseam for the short version is too long for me so I have to roll the cuffs up and the cuffs looks better when pressed. That matters when you are travelling with a tour group. Also I had to return the 1st pair because they were too large. The next size down fit perfectly.

I bought these in May. The weather is only now chilly enough to wear them. Second day wearing them (at an office job). The stitching at one of the pockets is coming undone.

These aren't made for curvy bodies in the plus size

Love these pants, but their sizing is easy too small. Ordered these and a pair of boot cut in size 16. Boot cut fit perfectly, but these were easy too small. Tried a pair of 16W and everything for except the waist which was smaller than the other pair of 16s that fit great.

Sizing is smaller than anticipated and in comparison to other Columbia pant products.

Runs small in the waist. I have a small waist and a big butt and thick thighs and I ordered a size 18. Hey felt good around my thighs, length was great. I'm going to size up because I generally liked the feel.

These seemed like they would functional but cut way to small in the waist and hips for me - they went back to the store.

I was very bummed to find that this pair runs quite a bit smaller than a similar pair I bought previously. The legs seemed ok...but through the hips and waist, they seem much smaller than the labeled size.

I own multiple pairs of 16W Saturday Trail Knee Pants , which I love. I was hoping for a longer version. I am tall and prefer a 33" inseam but decided to go with the regular inseam in these. Unfortunately they are much too small and fit like a 14W or 16 regular in the waist and rise, but the thigh and legs would have been too baggy if I went up in size. The fabric is a little less durable than I would prefer.

I originally ordered this pant one size larger than I usually wear. While the legs and butt fit nicely, the waist has NO give whatsoever and was really uncomfortable. I exchanged for a second size larger, which the waist fits well, but now fits baggy in the legs. If there was just the smallest amount of stretch in the waistband, the one soze up would've been the perfect pant. Oh well, I guess I'm still in search of the perfect plus size pant.

Comfy pants for the most part I ordered a 16w and they were a bit tight in waist but fit good else where. Love how I can wear as Capri or long. If the size was a better fit I would give another star.

These were somehow too big and too small, at the same time. The pants itched and were not comfortable enough for long term wear. Had to be returned.

I'm 5'8" and 200 lbs.I love the capri's. I'm currently in the 18W. The capris are great because they are cut generously in the thighs and knee. I first ordered 20W in these pants - baggy all over. Reordered as 18W. These fit in the hips but are bordering on tight. The legs are very tight and the material is thin. It is very tight in the knee, you can see every buldge in the knee. I have straight thighs -thick but no bulges. I'm not keeping these. There is a huge sizing difference between 18W & 20W. These need more room in width in the legs. The pants that convert with a zipper are even worse - leg width is awful. These don't shrink.

I get that these are supposed to be more of an "athletic" fit, but that shouldn't also apply to the waist measurements. And there's not enough stretch to compensate for it. These are going back.

Typically wear size 18/20. Got the Columbia Saturday Trail II knee pants which I love, but have to size up to a 22. Ordered these in a 22 and can barely zip them so would need to go up another size to 24 (out of stock). Probably would like these if they fit. Not stuck on numbers and stigma of size, BUT I have to be able to know what to order, ya know? Weirdly off in size.

Who designs a hiking pant with unusable pockets!!! Yes there are pockets but the zippered one is too small for anything but a pair of keys and positioned so it rubs on your leg when you hike. The other 2 pockets are for decoration only. TOO Shallow to put anything in. STUPID design though the pants look nice they aren't useful for hiking.

I really wanted to love these pants as much as I do my Saturday Trail capris, however it was not to be.
The good: The fabulous fabric is comfortable and sheds wrinkles. The back pockets are deep. The length was perfect for me.
The bad: The front pockets are virtually unusable: too shallow for a phone or small wallet. I wouldn't even trust my keys in those pockets.
The ugly: I bought my usual size (20)which fits in the waist, just barely, but has very wide hips and thighs.

It feels like the proportions are a little off. I think I'm a pretty average plus size shape and I found the legs were too big and the waist was too small. I fit the size 20 in the leg width and length, but even a size 22 waist was uncomfortably tight.
I think they need to adjust the proportions in the plus size versions - it's like they just scaled up the regular size which assumes the tummy is flat, just rounder in proportion to the legs. Gotta keep in mind that the stomach expands outward on many plus size folks :)
Otherwise, I love the material of these pants. I thought the opening for the hand pockets was too deep and caused things to fall out, but the zipper pocket on the leg is awesome.
I also love the way they roll up and the latch tucks in, but for buying a pair in the shorter length, I was slightly disappointed to find they became an awkwardly long Capri.
The quality of the materials and stitching is great, but the plus size design is very poor. I want to love these pants, but they miss the mark.

I always wear the same size and shop based on the availability of that size. This was wag off, no way a plus sizing.

I wanted to love these pants. I am plus size petite and it is so hard finding pants that fit. The pants are stretchy except for the waist! Why?? The legs and booty were too big but the waist was ok. If I size down the waist will be too small but the legs and booty would be ok. Why being plus size would there be no give to the waist?? Just makes no sense to me. I will be returning these, unfortunately. I wish they would make waist bands as stretchy as the legs and rest of the pants. Just some type of stretch. Also, I am 5'2 (almost) and they are still a little long but acceptable if they had fit elsewhere. The button was broken also when I got them so that doesn't scream quality.

I love my previous Columbia pants but this pair was too big and I didn't like the material as well so returned them.

Too small, and not flattering. Makes the lower half of your stomach pooch out and it has an odd fit. I'm 5'11" and wear a size 18, and ordered up a size, with still no luck.

I bought these a year ago and most of the stitching is coming out now. The fit wasn't great to begin with either but at least I could roll the legs up to make them short enough for me. But for the price I'm really disappointed that the stitching hasn't held up better.
