These pants are great for whatever you are doing- lounging,hiking or atving!

I am 5'6", weigh about 200 pounds and am bottom heavy. I first purchased the 18W as I am skeptical about sizing and although it was a little loose, I am comfortable wearing loose fitting pants and was happy with it. I then bought a second pair, a 16W, and although it was tighter, it was doable. I love wearing these pants on the weekend since they are super comfortable. What's also good is that you have the ability to roll them up and tie them like capris which I will definitely be doing as it gets warmer.

I had been look for some good hiking pants, but being plus size I found it rather difficult to find something that worked. These pants are very comfortable and easy to wear. The fabric is very forgiving and is breathable. I'm able to add layers underneath in colder weather and roll up the pant leg in summer. Overall I'm very pleased.

Finally pants that fit my plus size and so comfortable I wear them every day! They were a little long for me, I'm 5'7" but I fold them up once and I'm good. These are thin and light enough for spring and summer and excellent for camping. And I noticed while hiking in a little bit of rain that the rain just beads off the pants. The only thing I would complain about with these pants is the inside where the button rubs against my belly it's sharp so it scratches. I've been planning to sew a little bit of material over those buttons so I don't have the scratching anymore I just haven't got to it yet.

Great fit for my size. They have a very comfortable fit and the pockets are great. They are flexible for an active lifestyle and durable. I have slowly built up my wardrobe with several pairs of these pants.

Quality material, well made with attention to detail. I wore these while in Portugal in May of 2019. They were warm enough as well as being cool as the day warmed up. They resist dirt and stains, wash well by hand and dry quickly. They always resist wrinkling. Excellent addition to my travel clothing.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these pants!!! I can't say enough good about them. I first stumbled across these about 4 years ago and bought them on a whim, and it was instant love! I have since bought 7 more pair of these pants, and also the Saturday Trail shorts, too. I have got several of my friends hooked on these pants & shorts, too! These pants can be dressed up or down. They also dry super fast, and for that reason they're the only pants I'll wear to a theme park that features "water" rides, (ie., Splash Mountain!) They are comfy enough for a long flight, or car ride, or even a long day of walking/sightseeing, or outlet shopping. When they get old, they become my "work in the yard" pants! I don't know what I'll do if Columbia stops production of these pants! Buy them and see for yourself; I know you'll love them too!!!

I am a plus sized woman who works at an outdoor education center, so I am outside everyday in all weather. I value good tech pants for work and wear them nearly every day. These are my favorite pants I've owned so far! The waistband is particularly appealing as it doesn't leave gaps in the back like most of my pants. I have short legs, and the short option fits perfectly at the ankle without rolling and with my basic hiking boots. The snap at the waist holds really strongly - doesn't pop open when you bend over or crouch like some of my pants. I love rolling them up and using the straps/snaps to hold them in place because they look cute and stay neatly rolled all day. And finally, I love how the quality of the pants means I can wear them with nicer shirts and a blazer and they look like dress pants for meetings and conferences. No one can tell they're the same pants I wear to teach classes outside! So versatile, well made, and comfortable. I love them and recommend them to anyone who needs good plus sized outdoor pants.

These pants run a tad small so size up! Other than that, these pants are lightweight, quick drying, and stretch without losing shape. They will wrinkle if packed but the wrinkles melt away after you put these on. I was caught in the rain while wearing these & I was happy with how fast they dried. Please continue to offer us quality plus sized clothing. More colors please!

This pant is like a second skin, breathable and soft and yet strong. Can be used long or Capri. Super fun and great to use. Highly recommended !!

I was very happy with a previous purchase of the capri's and decided to try the pants for an upcoming trip. I was nervous because even with a short cut, pants can still be to long for me. The fit is great, love the quality of the pants and the roll-up capri feature. I will be ordering more!

These pants are my favorite!!! Loose, flattering fit, structured but extremely comfy, quick-dry. Rollable to capris. Deep but non bulky pockets.... I have not found active pants that I like as well as these. I have one pair in every color and I wear them everywhere, including to work! The black ones have a nice finish that doesn't even look less formal!

Loved them the moment I tried them on. May even wear them for medical scrubs. Slimming, stretchy, perfect summer weight: it's 80 degrees. At 5'3", need about 1" hemming, rolling them up.currently.

Love the way these pants look when wearing them. Nice fabric and more tailored than most travel/hiking pants. Not a lot of pockets, but that's okay.

True to size and description. Fabric quality is excellent. No skimping on details, design or workmanship because of the plus size.....thank you! Took 2 pairs to Hawaii....that was all I needed; rolled up to capris and down to pants, as needed. Easy wash and dry. Thank you Columbia! Can't wait for additional colors to come out!

These pants are amazing. They fit just right - I like the choice in lengths, the belt, the stretch, and the straight (but not tight) leg. Seriously my only disappointment is that when I came back to order more they don't have any more in black in my size/length.

I like the shaping of these pants. The waistband is very comfortable. I ordered my normal size and thought it was a little tight. Returned it for the next size and it's nice and roomy, very lightweight which is what I needed.

Recently purchased these pants for my trip to Havasupai Falls. The stretchiness of these pants provided exceptional range of motion on the hikes, climbing ladders and scaling rocks. These pants dried quickly while wearing them and they are super light. These pants were comfortable and provided the perfect amount of support while hiking. They easily converted into shorter pants by rolling up the pant legs and snapping the button in place. Great pants, great stretch, great range of motion!

I own two pairs of these pants. I loved the first so much that when I lost weight I bought a new one in the right size. I love that these are offered in a short length. The are still a little long for me, but way better than regular length pants. I particularly like the styling of the loops that hold up the cuff when rolled. Only downside is that the pockets are so shallow! They are almost non-functional if you are doing a great deal of moving.

I love Saturday Trail stretch pants and bought them in a size 16W & 18W to wear base layers under in northern AZ this winter. Never had any problems with prior pairs I own except some pilling at the thigh area. The 18W pair however, had stitching coming out at the hem, thigh and pocket area. It was not seen by me until the first washing. I was going to return and was given authorization to do so.... however another trip came up and I needed them ASAP. Repaired myself as best I could by hand. These are great pants and Columbia was willing to take care of the issue no problem, but I could not do without them until the replacement arrived.

I purchased these pants for a hiking trip my husband and I took last weekend. It's hard to find nice hiking pants for my size, and as it turns out, these were even a little big on me! I waded through a little brook and was up over my ankles, and the pants wicked off the water right away! I was dry and comfortable afterwards! They're also very comfortable when doing a lot of climbing and walking, I would definitely recommend these!

I ordered a 22 and 24 short. I sent the 22 back (I normally wear a 20). I am 5’4”. The length is perfect. They are very light weight and have great stretch. The pocket on the leg is hard to unzip since you pull up. I don’t plan to use that pocket much so it does not matter to me.

These were perfect for the 4 days I spent in the Amazon rain forest in Ecuador. Side Pockets could be a little deeper.
