I tried four (4) times to get this shoe to work for me. I found the sizing not in accurate when compared to other shoes. I very much wanted this shoe and purchased this design in four different sizings, none worked for me. The one that almost worked was a bit snug. I found the leather soles uncomfortable to walk as they were like walking on solid wood, not leather. I still like the design and the construction was excellent, only very uncomfortable.

While the leather is nice on the Liverpool boot, these are the only shoes from any brand that have made my feet bleed after every wear. I have 13 pairs of Allen Edmonds and they all fit wonderfully, but this pair runs at least .5-1.0 short in length and at least one width narrow. I normally wear a 9D and these fit about like an 8B, or perhaps even smaller. It's a shame as these are pretty shoes, and now I'm out a lot of money on a pair of shoes I won't ever wear.

I just received my boots and it's sad to say that after much anticipation my boots came in defective. There is a visible scuff right down the center of the uppers on both boots. I'll be returning them. For the price point, you will think that quality control would be better. I guess not.

I have a huge collection of AE shoes. Waited long to get my Chelsea, I regret buying it. The finish of the shoe is like something mass produced using a cookie cutter and shipped to Wall Mart. The sole has things hanging on all sides. The color on the sides of the sole looks like it was done in real hurry. Not worthy of being stocked in Factory Seconds even. Huge disappointment.
