I've been wearing this boot for almost 6 months. The leather is absolutely beautiful and doesn't scratch or scuff. I don't see it wearing down anytime soon. The quality is there. The price hurt my wallet, but the fact that i see this boot lasting me many years more, makes up for the price. It runs narrow, so i bout the E wide and it foots like a glove. I would recommend you wear a few different Sizes. I chose the 11.5 E and i feel a bit wider and a bit shorter would of been a bit better. I put a thin in sole and it fits fine.

This boot gives your look a high end polish. The walnut color is very versatile and gives me a chance to dress up both jeans and slacks. I would recommend a half size larger than your regular size or perhaps go the next size in your width - since this boot fits much more snug than my Higgins Mill.

I was searching for over two years for the perfect Chelsea boot because I'm very picky on color and style. Thank God AE came out with these. Please never stop making them in case these wear out or I need a second pair. The style is impeccable, the color of the Walnut is perfect. Comfortable, and dresses up and down very well. Home freaking run for AE.

Of all my shoes this has to be my favorite. Nicely made, extremely comfortable, and very stylish. I've had mine for over a year and they get better looking with age. I've replace the rubber heel pad once, but the rubber sole has been extremely durable. I measure out at 10.5D with a flat arch and these fit perfectly at that size. On most of the oxfords and slip-ons I usually end up in a 10.

Excellent craftsmanship @ affordable price. Was unsure about the Size so gave foot measurements in inches to my brother-in-law living in USA. My father-in-law brought it with him when coming to bangladesh. Though the fit is in the little bit tighter side but comfortable and getting more comfortable as I am wearing it more. Request to AE please make Liverpool Chelsea in HORSE BLOOD COLOR. Hoping to buy the one in suede. P.S. the last looks classy.

Purchased these via seconds and they are fantastic! I read reviews before purchase, and I'm glad I did as the sizing is true to reviews. I ordered 1/2 size smaller (11) and one width wider (E)-they fit like a glove. For reference, I own the Higgins Mill Boot in 11.5 D and they fit great (once they broke in). I have worn the Liverpool once and they definitely elevated my attire. I am still in there break-in period, but I don't foresee it taking very long as they were comfortable out of box. This is an awesome boot!

It does run very narrow, I had to get a EEE when normally I am D in Allen Edmonds. Otherwise, very satisfied!

Was looking for Chelsea boot for a while and pulled the trigger during recent spring sale. Incredibly happy. Very comfortable boot and Walnut pairs well with suits and jeans. Would certainly recommend.

This boot is the best. Even though it's a bit more expensive than some of the other options on the market, it's definitely worth it. The fit and style is the best. Also, just a little bit of rubber for cushion on the sole makes it so much more comfortable than my previous pair of boots.

These boots fit like a glove. It has been many years since I have worn a good made dress boot. It is well constructed, very comfortable to wear and looks great. I am going to one of your stores later this month and purchase another dress shoe.

I love my Liverpool boots. I already had Yorktowns (which I also love) so I knew the 1943 last fit me well. There are a couple of things that set the Liverpools apart from the Yorktowns to be my favorite AEs: -The leather feels much softer -The footbed is more comfortable; not sure if its due to the V-tread sole, but these shoes are incredibly comfortable I hope AE continues to make shoes on the 1943 last, it is fits me much better than the 65 last.

The quality of the leather is amazing. It took me about two weeks to break it in. I have narrower feet, and the 9D fit perfectly.

The Chelsea Dress Boot is elegant. It looks great if worn with a suit or with jeans. The boot dresses up any outfit. I usually wear width D for AE shoes. For this boot I had to up size the width to E

I think this is the most beautiful and well priced boot for the quality, fit and cost I have seen. Even my 33 and 22 year olds LOVE this boot/shoe.

Great boots as expected! I went to the store in Century City that by the way has a very knowledgeable staff who correcty suggested I go up a half size and keep my e width I usually get in all their dress shoes. They fit perfectly, they felt great since the very first time I wore them. Great job, I recommend these to anyone who has been wanting a pair!

This was my 11th AE shoe purchase in the past 2 years and they have become the only shoes I will wear now. I purchased the black Liverpool from the factory seconds sale at an incredible value for price and immediately fell in love with the boot right out of the box. There was only a minor, almost unnoticable defect, but I like a little defect here or there for character and to remind me that they're individually handcrafted. I purchased in my brannock size, an 11.5 D, and these fit exactly true to size. The 1943 and 943b last fit my foot exceptionally well, like a glove, and it is becoming my favorite last as I also own a bourbon Cornwallis. This boot is very versatile and I love the refined toe profile. I often find most boots with rounded toes too clunky, but this Liverpool chelsea boot has a beautiful, sleek profile that is equally suited for everything from a pair of slim jeans to a suit and everything between. This is a must have boot and I hope AE continues to make it and incorporates more color choices.

The styling, the fit, the materials, the craftsman-- everything about this boot is excellent. I've been looking for a great pair of Chelsea boots for awhile, but was dissatisfied with everything I saw until I found these in black. I've only been wearing them for a week, but they're really comfortable and I've already gotten a bunch of compliments on them. The fit around the ankle is just right, not too tight/not too loose. The toe is slightly square, due to the last used, which I thought I might not like. But, in person it's really subtle and looks great from every angle. They're definitely expensive, but every other pair of Allen Edmond shoes I've owned have lasted so long that the price is totally justified. I'm excited to see how they wear over time, I have a feeling they'll only look better and better with age. Really just a perfect Chelsea boot, I'm already planning to buy the chocolate suede Liverpool's next.

I purchased a pair of the Liverpool Chelsea Boot in the crisp black color. It has become a staple of my business and business casual footwear wardrobe since then. It is a versatile boot, with supple leather and a robust rubber sole that is great in wet weather. I would highly recommend this shoe.

Have been wanting to try a Chelsea boot for a while. Bought the walnut color and love them. Fit is great and comfortable all day. Would love to see these come out in oxblood or Chili. Loved them so much picked up the Suede version as well.
