Jacket is clean in comparison to other designs.

I like to go out when is raining. This jacket is perfect for wet weather!

Used the jacket in Lake Tahoe during the winter for walking around as well as snowboarding. It kept me warm and dry through the whole weekend. Also, very comfortable. First time I ever bought a North Face jacket...sounds cheesy but only thing I regret is not buying one earlier. I thought NF was always a bit pricey, but bought this on sale and can feel quality difference from the cheaper made/priced jackets I am used to buying

To be honest, I had previous order the Burton cover jacket... but it was way too long! We have lots of North Face gear... back packs, hiking accessories, etc...so took a chance on clothing! Very, very happy we did!! Great coat! Perfect weight, length and style!! Thank you!!

The jacket is a great jacket for around town. Very functional. It would also make a good travel jacket.

Bought it for my trip to NYC in February and it kept me warm the whole time

Good everyday jacket. Zipper pulls seem a little flimsy and get confused with inner zipper pull when unzipping jacket.

Bought it for my boyfriend who didn't have a warm jacket beyond a snowboarding jacket which is way too bulky for daily wear. Loves the fit and lightness, and the fact that it is WARM! Not as waterproof as his Arcteryx shell, but it does the trick for light rain and was wonderful for the sub 30 degree weather we've been having in the PNW. He especially loves the multiple pockets. One doneside - the hood doesn't have a huge lip so it's not the best for rain coverage FYI.

I order this jacket for everyday use. So far it's great. Great for rainy day, cold winter days i just add a sweater underneath and I'm good to go. Overall, amazing jacket.

Let me start by saying, my teenage son hates wearing winter coats- they're always, "too bulky, puffy and uncomfortable, and just not the cool thing to wear"! He does love the fleece hoody from North Face, so I decided to surprise him this year for Christmas with a new coat...it was time. He's in college now and I was tired of seeing him freezing! He LOVES it!! The fit is perfect, sleek, fashionable and very stylish and most important- it keeps him warm! He wore it Christmas Day to a football game & it kept him nice and toasty. I love that is has a hood, too! North Face did not disappoint with this jacket...it's a classic! I highly recommend it.

I'm happy with this jacket. Some reviews sad the sleeves were short which was not the case for me. I'm 6'2" 225 and the XL fits perfectly. Lately it's been in the 20s and lower and I usually wear a button up shirt underneath and it's warm. I like the napoleon pocket inside the storm flap, that way I can reach my phone without having to unzip the jacket.

Amazing price from REI Garage. A very lightweight, warm-for-weight jacket. Great for 40-degree mornings and as a car coat. Wish the front would also zip up from the bottom... but no biggy. The bottom has a snap to reinforce the zipper down there, which is good engineering. The seams all look well-stitched and are bar-tacked at the stress points. I wonder if the lightweight fabrics will last, but they are extremely comfortable, and so far so good. Warm big enough pockets. Pit zips. A detachable insulated hood. Wrists close with velcro strap. Purr-fect!

Great jacket, very warm for how lightweight it is. Some have complained about the sleeve length, but no issues here-I am 6'2, 190lbs and the L fits nearly perfect. BUYERS BEWARE; the "Climbing Ivy Green" is not a 'heathered' green as the photo suggests. It is a normal dark/forest green, but still looks great.

Very stylish, good quality product. The shell is waterproof and protects you from the rain and wind. The fleece inside will keep you warm in cold conditions. The materials and design are superb. This is my second jacket from TNF along with mutiple backpack purchases. Will definitely buy again.

We bought this jacket for our son and he absolutely loves it! He doesn't like a bulky jacket but needs to stay warm and dry. This is the perfect jacket for him.

In 1975 while living in NE Ohio I purchased my first North Face winter coat. Not knowing anything at the age of 15, I look back now and think "Wow, what a great coat!"... Fast forward to 2016 and now living in the south where I don't need a winter coat but a few days a week, I have been living with a coat that my wife gave me several years ago. I decided it was time to buy another North Face. Well, I forgot how much I missed my old coat. If you've ever driven a Ferrari then you will understand that feels like a race car. Other cars are just transportation and work, but are not built with "racing" in mind. The North Face coat, like the Ferrari, is built by people who understand what they are doing. I love my new North Face coat and bringing back great memories of superior quality. Thanks for making the best.

I live in Northern Illinois and the winters here can be rough at times with wind chills going well into the negatives. This coat has been excellent. It's not the largest coat but for the size and price it is a great value. You can watch the snow melt and drip off the coat. Besides being of great quality, it looks great too.

I would wear this coat every day...

I wear the jacket in wet snow and subzero conditions. Both for work and play. It looks nice enough for work, yet is causal enough for a weekend hike or icefishing.

I bought this jacket as a winter coat for my 15 year old son. We live near Boston. He is 6'1" and weighs 220 pounds. He is well proportioned but a big guy who wears jeans that are 38 waist and 34 length. Using the North Face chart I originally ordered an XL which was too tight across the chest and would not work with a sweatshirt under the coat. So I sent it back and got the XXL which is perfect and he loves it.

I wear it as a winter jacket and also during inclement weather. Wore it in NYC when it rained all night long and was dry the entire time. Also wore it to walk an hour to a liquor store during Winter Storm Jonas in Central Jersey. I was warm and dry the entire time. :-) I love it.

The cost is lightweight, but also keeps you warm.

I really like this jacket because it is nice and warm without being too hot in the car. I also like that it is light weight but still warm, water resistant and really blocks the wind. I have several NF jackets for every temp and I wear this one when you need more warmth than just a wind breaker but not ultra cold outside (10-20 degrees outside). I like the soft lining and the stylish cut and colors. It does fit a bit trim in the middle and sleeve length for me is a little short. A good fit but a little trim, no extra room anywhere so order a bit larger. Well made of high quality materials.
