I bought this item as a gift for my girlfriend as she loves Ugg boots. She has several pair of the Classic Short boots but really wanted a Tall pair. I ordered the ones she wanted and when they arrived she expected them to be as awesome as the previous ones she wears.
Unfortunately, the boots are a little too snug around the calves. She has thick, muscular legs and can't wear them comfortably. She figured perhaps they needed to be broken in so she would try to wear them down a bit, but to no avail. They were too uncomfortable for her to enjoy. She has since bought a couple pair of the Classic Short boots which she absolutely loves, and is able to wear with no issues.
She told me several other women have experienced a similar issue.
Perhaps it'll be something to look into.
Lesson learned. She'll definitely have to try before buying.

I have always liked uggs and it is nice that they are treated for water/stain resistance ahead of time in the factory. The catch is that I thought that they would stay water/stain resistant, however that's not the case. After 6 months you will have to do it yourself. I felt as if this was false advertisement and the whole campaign was to show these new exclusive uggs, and how different they were to the old ones when really they are basically the same. No real upgrade. They are definitely not worth the extra price when the classic I are the same. Just take the extra step and waterproof them yourself since you will have to in 6 months anyway.

I love uggs and have so many pairs. I was super happy to have a water proof pair so I bought both the tall chestnut and black pairs. It was extremely difficult to get my legs in. The calves are super tight so I'm hoping they'll stretch.

Have 5 pairs of Ugg boots all over 6 years. Got a new pair of Classic and when the order arrived and I could hardly believe it. I could have cried. The fur looks so cheap. Gone is the lambs wool all the way up inside. It's just on the foot. I can get just as warm a boot at a Department store for half the price. New Ugg owners, what have you done? I used to recommend your product to even strangers. Not anymore.

I tried these on in the store because i've never experienced the tall Uggs, I've always gotten the short ones. They are super warm inside, but they're not for people with big calves. I feel like the top of the boot were it cuffs was squeezing my calf.

I'm an active person, and my legs are muscular but not huge. I squeezed my leg in and it jut looked really unflattering because of how tight they were around my leg. This surprised me because I've never had this issue before with any boots. So if you have muscular legs I'd warn you against these boots, buy the shorter version instead. I did send these back, because they were a gift.

I love the boots! I got the "new and improved" original Uggs in black and I am so sad to say that they are not waterproof, my feet were soaked after a morning walk. The ground was a little wet from the morning dew. I am not sure why they advertised them as waterproof when they are most definitely not...

uggs used to be super easy to stain and ruin, super quick. So i stopped buying them, I've looked into buying them again and looks like they've gotten more durable and "waterproof". Super excited!

I have several pairs of uggs.
The quality of the boot has gone down hill.
The inside is shedding and rolling up so uncomfortable to wear,

Unfortunately, I'm not pleased with this purchase. The inner/outer sole is thin. While walking on any pavement, the soles are thin, whereas I'm able to feel the ground more so. It's not thick enough. The rubber, the undersole isn't as thick as I thought. I have to put in Dr. Scholl's Comfort Insoles cushion to give me that extra stepping comfort, but of course that would make it a little tight in the shoe itself once I put my foot in. For the amount of money that they cost, it isn't worth it. I live in a cold climate, of course when there isn't any snow or rain, outer cloth material is okay, of course I wear socks, but it's the undersole that doesn't give much comfort. I shouldn't have to feel the pavement like I do. This is my own opinion, and I do not advise any one to go by my opinion. The sole may be okay for you. It's something that you would have to solely base your own opinion on. Would I invest in some other UGG's 'yes'! But of course I would look for a more thicker sole.

The quality of the boots has gone down. These probably will not last a season vs my old ones lasted years. They are warm still but will definitely not be buying again.

Sadly, just like every other major namebrand, UGG has outsourced and not been looking out for their customers. I have peripheral neuropathy and have only bought a brands in the past, however, because of their increasing cost and decreasing quality I have not bought in I would say seven years. Customers are wising up to the fraudulent behavior of these big name brands and I just don't see them sustaining the companies any longer. Sad because they used to be worth something but they're not now.

I have purchased Uggs before and needed to replace my black ones . It's not the same quality as the one I purchased years ago. This one seems lite and cheap the padding didn't seem the same. My feet gets cold and was really looking forward to how my old pair hugged my feet. This didn't cushion my feet like the last one. I also have a pair of your Koolaburra and they did a better job than the Original Uggs. So disappointed

I love these boots but they colored my feet black. I guess it was the dye. I've never had this happen with Uggs before. Made an exchange and hope the next pair doesn't bleed

This size 8 is much larger than the size 8 I have always bought in UGs. It fits like a 9 and I will return them. It's an inconvenience, which is why I'm rating this transaction as a 2.

Color is actually Olive green/army green. Be cautious when ordering the antelope color of this classic tall to UGG boot because the color online, versus the color that shows up at your house is drastically different. I have been wearing UGGs for over 30 years, and still have all of my original pair of boots. So, I was definitely shocked when this pair arrived in the mail and was not light tan/khaki, but instead an olive oil army green.
We are huge fans of the UGG boots, and the UGG brand. They fit magnificently, last a lifetime, and our ultra comfortable.
We are now on a quest to find where we can actually get the original tan colored. UGG boots.
See attached picture for original tan colored boots, versus the olive/green UGG boots that showed up.

I was looking forward to wearing these, but something is just not right about the texture and the color. It's not the bright orangy rust-like chestnut color they used to be. It looks more like a dull light brown, and they are not as velvety and smooth as they use to be. Unfortunately I have to return them.

The instep of the boot was cut short. I gave them away. They caused my feet to swell after wearing them once. The instep was tight. I should have sent them back but instead I gave them to a person that wore an 8 shoe size and the were able to wear them. It seems now we pay more and get less for products. It felt like a European cut shoe.

The day that I decided to wear them a stain pops up on the boot . I have tried Ugg cleaner to get the stain off and it still won't come off.

As a Southern California beach girl I have worn original Uggs tall boots for over 20 years, and I can't believe how narrow they are now. Ugg has taken them down to as narrow as they can possibly be. They've basically sucked the life out of them in the interest of greed. The knock-offs are wider and plusher than this year's model.

I was surprised by the poor quality of both the sheepskin and suede on this boot. I very disappointed because I looked forward to using these boots.

I just cannot believe how the quality of Uggs has declined! Uggs used to be such better quality! I am shocked! I considered them a luxury, so comfy and just about indestructible. I had my original Uggs for years. I ordered these because I loved my tall black Uggs, but these are nothing like the old Uggs. I’ll never spend another $200 on this brand! They are not near as comfortable and I can tell they’ll never hold up as well. So sad they cheapened the brand, they used to be a luxury, now they’re gonna be trash pretty quick.
