For many years I have owned 3 pairs of Ugg sheepskin boots. It seems that the lining is not authentic sheepskin at all. It's soft and limp which causes my foot to flop around and not hug my foot as it should. I have been wanting a new pair of Uggs for years. I finally splurge and I am very disappointed.

Please don’t skimp on these next winter! What a shame to think you can fool loyal UGG fans. After 20 years of wearing UGG Classics I am no fool. I skipped purchasing last year because I didn’t need them. After Thanksgiving I replaced my chocolate brown boots with the Burnt Cedar. I was relieved when I received them because they were so very close in color to my favorite “brownies”. The hide was definitely thinner and the fur had a different feel. It was not dense. I decided to keep them but in one month the insole was tamped down and there was no cushion at all. I will not be buying UGGS anymore. Deception is especially dishonest in this case. The worldwide success of the UGG company makes this disgraceful in my opinion. As for Zappos.. they remain at the top of my list. This review references the disappointment in quality and reliability.

Can't get foot past the seam at the ankle. I have 2 other pairs of UGGS and never had this issue with them.

Material seemed cheap and I would not recommend. Quality in this color was sub-par.

Returning! After reading reviews I got two pairs, size 8 and 9 - normally I wear 8.5-9. I did not see any difference between the 2 sizes, at all! No quality control?! The boots seem like they are cheaply made, they are very thin, to the point that I see an outline of my big toe when I walk in them. Also, I agree with customers that wrote about the seam digging - it wasn’t terrible for me but that means the boots are poorly made. All in all not worth the money. $160 boots should be well made and last a few years!

I inherited my mom’s Ugg boots and absolutely loved them. To me there was no other shoe as comfortable as those boots. I wore them out and had to replace them, my feet NEED them. Well I got my order and am completely beside myself with sadness. The new Uggs are a joke! They have cheapened sooooo much of their manufacturing process, and the quality is terrible compared to boots of the past. You are paying for the name, but not the quality anymore! I am super saddened by this because I so desperately wanted them to work. And it seems like just about every shearling boot company out there has been bought out by Ugg.

These are not the Uggs of yore. I had great ones years ago (that my puppy ate) and finally decided to get some. Very disappointed. They are shorter and my big toe pokes through, and the material is thicker and feels cheap. The trim around the top is very stiff and feels like cardboard. If you didn't know better maybe you'll enjoy them, but they aren't what I expected.

This is by far the worst Ugg boot I've purchased! It was a gift for my daughter and she instantly noticed that there was not a lot of fur in the boot. She said it felt cheaply made and even wondered if they were authentic Ugg boots. I buy her the same boots every 2 yrs. The last pair of boots was made in China and she loved them. This time around the boots were made in the Phillipines. These will be returned! I am so disappointed!

Fit well but, the uggs quality has declined over the years, and sadly I no longer consider these my favorite cozy boot. Dang! Honestly the fur is a poor replica of its original and the sole is hard and I won’t go on. I had to return these. My old Uggs after years of wear are in better shape. Bummer?

Other reviewers warned about the tight seam across your ankle. They were so right. Ugg's whole purpose is comfort, so if they don't get that right they're not going to keep customers. I ordered a pair of Sorel Out N About Booties to take the place of these. Wanted for indoor slippers. I have other pairs of Uggs, no issues with fit. They've gotten something wrong with this boot.

Cute and comfortable but I returned because I think I will be sorry when the snow comes and they get wet. I decided for the price I needed waterproof where I live (Wisconsin)

Too narrow. Shaft is too small to get foot into the boot. Love the water-proofing. Please make old style water-proof, instead!

These boots are very disappointing! I'm an 8 1/2 sized down to 8 (as I have in the past) too short in toe box so sized up to 9. Toe box is roomy but entire boot too narrow. Tried to wear a half dozen times hoping they would release or stretch out a bit - not happening! Very narrow. Plus the black lining on inside of the boot looks like some kind of man made polyester fabric that leaves a black stain on a bare foot. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! What happened to UGG! Would not recommend.

I have been wearing these boots for years. First, I wore an 8, perfectly. Then sizing changed and I wear a 9. Fine. I ordered a new pairs of 9’s—the length seems to be the same, but they are huge—wider? Bigger? My foot slips around. Fine, I buy a new set of Ugg inserts, still, sliding around. Now, can I return? Not sure. Not sure if I should try again. Was this a weird QC issue? I miss my uggs.

I was sent used shoes! In a blank box. No stuffing inside to keep the boots’ shape. Just rattling around inside a box. And you can tell someone had their feet in the shoe because the shearling has toe imprints in it and the suade is creased. Stains on the toe.

Uggs have really gone down in quality. The shaft was higher, the footbed was longer, the material is thinner, and the boots felt cheap. I have had 3 pairs of classic short Uggs over the years and these are just not the same.

After receiving my order I noticed that the right boot had glitter sprinkled on it. Weird, but okay… I tried them on and found that the right boot fit much tighter and the dug into the top of my foot. Felt horrible.

After 20 years as a loyal UGG wearer it's so disappointing... UGG keeps changing the product and not for the better...

COLOR was awful. Only 3 colors available. I ordered what appeared to be a grayish brown it's called Shadow. IT'S PURPLE! Shadow is purple. Ugg-liest UGG I've ever seen. Going back immediately. It would be helpful to describe colors in the write up when they are unusual like this one is.

I did know this boots were made in China, they are fake
