Great gift great jacket

Good cold weather / wet item. Nice air gap for additional ventilation between the inside and outside pieces. Zipping in pretty easy.

Bought the "black heather" color which really looks like grey but it looks great anyway. This was a gift for my boyfriend who told me that he likes the tri-climate jackets. This one has a zip out black jacket that looks good worn alone. He has been wearing both pieces everyday without zipping the jacket in. Looking good!

Well made and just the right jacket for most occasions. If I were skiing etc, I would opt for something that has a exterior fabric that is a little thicker just in case you tend to fall as much as I do! Great color and perfect zipper locations. Thanks TNF

This jacket alway seems to fit the bill. I've used it in 30-55 wether. Always seem to keep me just right as far as not being to hot or to cold. Love this jacket

Jacket is lightweight and keep you warm. It also looks really classy.

Love the coat. Bought it based on description and picture. Liked the looks even more when I received it. I have worn it on several occasions and have been extremely happy with the look and feel.

Inner jacket is very warm; love the outside color options. Two-piece integration is very quick with two wrist snaps and a zipper. I wish the hood was detachable.

Very thick and large, best used in cold/rain. Excellent product!

This jacket is very thin.. Some may feel like that's a waste of their money. However, given that weight of this jacket I don't see why anyone would expect to use this during near freezing temperatures. This particular model runs a size bigger than the majority but it's great for rain and I would always zip up my jackets during those colder days so my north face jackets would start doing its magic. Overall this is a great jacket for casual wear.

With a long sleeve shirt and this jacket, it was more than warm enough for 20F degree weather. In 30 degree weather with just the Thermoball liner and a t-shirt, I was comfortable, and the liner is so light you almost forget you're wearing it. I really wish TNF would come out with additional liners that can be bought separately!

Great all around jacket

I love the coat! Since I bought it in winter, I use both layers and it is great to keep the cold out! As I drive around, clearly the car warms up but the arm pit vents are fantastic to keep me comfortable until I arrive at my destination. I have also received several complements on how nice the coat looks, especially for a business environment!

They did not have the size we needed in store, so they ordered it for us online. It arrived and we delivered it to our son in college and he was beyond thrilled. He called me that night to say he absolutely LOVES it and that he was wearing it in his dorm room and did not want to take it off. The next day after walking around campus in 5 degree weather, he texted to say it was perfect. Kept him warm, but not too warm, and kept the wind out.

Wife wanted to get me this jacket. I was hesitant due to price but knew it was going to be great quality like the rest of my north face stuff. After receiving it in the mail I was extremely happy with my purchase.

I saw this jacket last July and loved it. However, the Thermoball isn't really a July kind of coat. However, I asked family members for gift certificates so I could buy one for Christmas. Christmas came and sure enough...gift certificates for North Face! The next day I went to the store to buy it, but they were sold out of my size. The guy that assisted me said they were very popular, but that if I wanted to order one while I was in the store, the shipping would be free! I went for it. 4 days later, my jacket arrived and I have worn it every day since. Light weight, incredibly warm, waterproof...perfect for January storms! Can't beat it!

Love the versatility of this jacket.

The North Face Thermoball Triclimate jacket is really a perfect jacket for all occasions. It looks sharp for around town and to work. The inner layer, a synthetic puffy zip up looks sharp on it's own, is wind proof, warm but still breathable so you don't overheat. The shell is amazingly waterproof - with an El Nino year dropping inches of rain, I could care less if I forget my umbrella so long as I'm wearing my Thermoball Triclimate. Combine both with an easy zip in system and you have a jacket the has features of a much bulkier garment but still fits comfortably and feel like a favorite sweatshirt. The fit, versatility and good looks of the North Face Thermoball Triclimate jacket are a win-win-win.
