I purchased one size up and wear it with liner. Sensor works even while wearing a sensor compatible liner.

Really like these gloves. Yes, they're warm enough. Yes, they're comfy. But the touch screen compatibility ACTUALLY WORKS! I can operate my phone while wearing. Admittedly, not as accurately as bare hands, but when riding my bike and replying to a text at the stop light, they're great, just as you'd expect from OR gloves....BEST IN THE BIZ!

Great gloves for photographing in cold weather. Work well in moderately cold temps and the gloves work well with touch screens both on cameras and cell phones.

90% of the hours of my backcountry ski excursions and my hands are wrapped in the stormtrackers. Skinning at 7am, 13 below zero (fahrenheit) to skinning up a sun soaked south facing aspect to skiing back down, this is what I am wearing. I keep a pair of super insulated backup gloves but they just take up space in the bottom of my pack. The new design offers more index finger dexterity and the leather is even more plush.

Great for uptracking in cold weather. Leather palm and windstopper keeps hands warm in poor weather. Good grip on poles or ice tools.

apprentice guide, avalanche forecaster and mountain SAR team leader in the canadian rockies. This is the best glove I've tried yet for technical climbing leads, though unless it's fairly warm it's a bit on the thin/cool side so I keep them warm in my jacket and just use them for the leads (I pair with the highcamp 3-finger mitt for cold belays - another great glove) works well as a mild winter day/spring ski touring glove also.

Lost one glove and immediately ordered a new pair. This is my go-to glove. Dexterity isn't limited. Windstopper fabric is fantastic at keeping the cold air out. Not too warm for nice days, but keeps my hands toasty when conditions are less than ideal as well. I rarely go into the mountains without them.

Great gloves. I usually wear large size gloves from OR but these gloves fit bigger than the other's.

This is my 2nd pair and I light the improvements made by adding the zip cuff. I use these primarily for XC Skiing and like the light weight insulation combined with windproof materials. I only wish they had a wear patch from palm across the thumb web, then they would be perfect

I work as a ski patroller and flight paramedic in Northern Canada, and I own at least 3 pairs of these gloves. While not a warm glove, they have amazing dexterity and I use them as for any task that needs bare hand like dexterity in sub zero temps. They continually exceed expectations, and are much warmer than one would think for a glove so thin. They are also my uptrack glove for touring or any high impact activity, and are more than warm enough for that. The sensor feature works well, but isn't much of a factor for me as I rarely am on my phone. I use them as part of a system - a warmer glove such as the Aksel or Extravert for descending or working with toboggans, fences etc, and always have a pair of Stormtrackers in a pocket or pack for quick donning. Highly recommend. The only con is that they aren't super durable, but then I tend to destroy gear faster than most. If you do a lot of rope work, get a full leather glove. But use these as intended, and you will not be disappointed.

Use these gloves for my AM trail runs. They have kept my digits warm on 30 mile jaunts in 20 degree weather and provide enough dexterity to open nutrition on the move.

I have the original stormtrackers and have been using them for the past 5 years daily through the winter for everything from casual use to xc skiing, fatbiking, hiking, snowshoeing, snowman building with the kids :) Durability is fantastic. They still feel like they are new and have only gotten better with time. Leather palms are great for grip and the soft shell sheds snow well and keeps the hands toasty. Thanks OR for another fantastic product.

I have had 2 pairs of these over the years and they have been my go to glove for ski touring in Colorado. The windstopper material takes the edge off of the weather while providing breathability on the uphill. They are not super waterproof and will get wet during spring couloir climbs, but they shed winter snow easily and provide enough insulation for both up and downhill skiing year-round in warmer climates. Soft shell material is flexible and the leather palm provides solid grip on ski poles. I am buying another pair only because I lost my last ones!

I use this for resort skiing and backcountry skiing on warmer days. The touchscreen ability is hit or miss, it did well when I first got the gloves but it seems to be getting worse as I use these gloves more; I'm not sure if it's wearing out or what, but I've had these gloves for < 6 months! They are great for the warmer days when skiing, but not so great on the cold days. Additionally, the fingers fit a little weird. I am between sizes (medium and large), but neither medium or large fit me too well on these gloves. I want more dexterity, so I went with medium, but the middle finger seems too short for the medium and the index/thumb seem too long for the large.

Definitely a great glove and I love the dexterity of the glove, but I want to make sure I emphasize these are better for active sports. Skiing, specifically resort skiing, will not utilize your hands enough to keep your fingers warm. All things considered though, they are a great glove and I'm excited to use them more for some ice climbing and high alpine climbing (either as first glove or high activity glove). Fit can be a bit loose but it's a good choice for a lot

I had always heard these were popular gloves for leading ice, so I finally got a pair and was impressed! Great balance of warmth/protection and dexterity. Obviously they are better for "warmer weather" ice days (ie: at least 20 deg. f for me), as they are on the thinner side. But they are much more robust than a liner glove. In terms of skiing, I wore them for nearly 3 days straight on mild weather multi-day ski outing - uphill, downhill, and at camp. I found myself saying I loved them. Note that they aren't waterproof - the "Goretex" label can be a bit deceiving there, so I'm not sure of their application in alpine climbing or anything that would involve lots of direct contact with snow. Not sure of durability as this is my first winter with them.

Windproof for sure. Not terribly warm in 30 degrees with 30 mph winds. Love the feel and fit. Fit is true to sizing chart and went with a large to allow for a very thin liner glove. Mainly got these for touring, which I have yet to do with them. Also haven't had them in precipitation yet, so can't speak to their waterproof-ness.

I used the glove primarily for aerobic cold weather activities such as AT skiing, xc skiing, mountain running in late fall. Dexterity is excellent and it is just the right weight to keep my hands warm, but not sweaty. The length is great for keeping snow and wind off my wrists. The loops at the wrist are great for clipping them to my pack for easy access. They are not waterproof, or if they are, it doesn't last long. I did not appreciate significant wind-proofness. They seriously lack durability: I used them for one season and the leather on the palm where I hold my ski poles has a hole. I'm not an aggressive poler, nor did I abuse the glove. For the price, that's a deal-breaker, but for $15 cheaper I would buy them again without batting an eye.

Fit might be slightly large. Good weight, love the simple design of a loop one can easily pull the glove on. Would buy again
