I've used this glove backcountry skiing on long hut trips, short day missions, dawn patrols and aerobic rando laps at the ski area. It has performed admirably as a skinning glove in all those situations and the touch sensor has been reliable.

Just the right amount of warmth for skinning, plenty of comfort, easy on easy off, the daily driver. They will get wet during a day in the pow but still come with me every time.

I'm on my third pair. First pair is getting a bit worn from the inside out but the exterior shows minimal signs of wear. I have prolly 5-7 seasons on them. Second pair have three seasons and they are going strong. I bought a third pair because I had briefly lost (misplaced) the second pair and I didn't want to suffer any ski days without them. Great for the uptrack and great for backcountry descents. I run hot so I use this glove for 90% of my backcountry days. I bring a pair of warm mittens with me but they pretty much sit at the bottom my pack.

Alaska resident here. I use these every day! They're my drive to work gloves, haul firewood gloves, biking, skiing, hiking, everything gloves. You can use a touchscreen phone with them, if you're into that. I'm not crazy about the zipping sides on the newer version - the zipper often opens itself, or just snags on my jacket cuff. Everything else about them is perfect. Highly recommended glove!

Great fit, slightly larger than a mechanic globe brand. The touch works great with my phone.

Dexterity is awesome in these gloves. perfect cuff design, incredibly warm for how light/thin they are. Awesome glove for skiing in the PNW. Enough dexterity and grip for ice/mixed climbing as well.

Great for ski touring and ice climbing. They last a long time, have good dexterity and keep my hands warm to about -10 C. Also nice to be able to operate a phone with them on.

When I get to a distinct level of elevation, my hands have needed a friend to keep away the chill of brisk mountain wind. These have secured that essential. With that being said, these gloves don't get your hands all sweaty and sticky, they ventilate excellently.

I think this is an outstanding glove, in large part because of its versatility. Some of the situations I have used this glove: extended field work in cold and wet conditions; bicycling of all types (mountain, road, gravel); skinning and xc skiing in mild conditions; walking/hiking/backpacing; running in cold weather; belaying rock climbs; climbing ice; driving in a cold car; writing in a field notebook (a huge plus! being able to keep the gloves on to write really helps my fingers stay safe at work); hunting with a bow; hunting with a gun; fishing; shoveling the sidewalk. The glove has held up well to extensive use, washes well in a washing machine and then treating the backs with TX Direct and the palms with a leather balm, and does not tear or fray easily. The touchscreen works very well and with all of the fingers. I am able to keep this glove on even while retrieving snacks from a bike jersey, something that was definitely not possible with other gloves that I have worn for that purpose. I even use fingerless bicycling gloves (Specialized Grail) underneath these gloves and that works very well down to about 28-30 degrees F. It is not fully waterproof, but if you maintain the back fabric and wax the palms, it stays fairly water resistant and fully windproof while still remaining breathable. Probably the glove that I use most often living here in the mountainous mid-Atlantic of West Virginia. Feels true to size. I ordered a medium and measured in a medium according to the OR size chart. Fits well- easily on/off, provides enough space and a good cut to allow for full finger articulation, and I can even sneak a fingerless liner glove in there if necessary, which can help warm up a grip on a ski pole/ice ax/bike handlebars.

Colour makes them suitable for tactical shenanigans. Close to Arc'Teryx's Crocodile colour.
I've used them as both casual gloves (driving etc), below freezing for short periods of time, and for tactical stuff in cool weather (think around freezing, depending on activity level). They provide good dexterity for trigger handling.
These are quite rugged and provide great grip. Like all Sensor series, they're touchscreen-compatible. They are warm, but not *super* warm, however. So I see them more as "cool" weather than "cold" weather.
So far their DWR finish hasn't failed, although we'll see over time.

Fantastic shooting gloves for early spring and fall conditions. The glove fits tight against the trigger finger for those days when it's too cold for your bare hands to be exposed.

I use these gloves to go back country touring. The tough leather is great for putting tons of work into them and not tearing.

Bought this glove for ski mountaineering. Surprising warm for a "light" glove, works from 15F to mid-30's. Great dexterity. No problems attaching/detaching skins, donning or doffing climbing harness, or setting up anchors and making rappels. Not waterproof, but it isn't advertised as such. My new favorite glove.

First, these are warm tough liners for my Alti and Baker outers. Next, minimal bulk of all the fine articulated seams including fingers tips permits full dexterity and adequate feel for gear, ropes and knots. As good as bare hands for dexterity and warmer than most liners thanks to Windstopper. Tough supple leather grips are great on tools and poles. At the end of the day carrying loads of firewood has not yet made a single scratch in the palms.

Making additions to the glove arsenal. I have an existing pair, 5+ years old. They still work well. A bit of packing in the fingers, and a small tear or two. No ripped seams. Great gloves! You are making a good decision.

I have used this glove for the past 3 years. I have been so impressed I just ordered a pair for my wife. The newer versions work with smart phones/touch screen. The glove is like the best soft shell you have ever tried on but for your hands. The block the wind, work well in damp conditions, and keep you fingers warm...all with outstanding dexterity.
I have used them from everything from Skydiving in the winter to shoveling my driveway. They are the one glove I cannot live without. Durability far exceeds what you would expect. OR crushing it again.
