My hands are always cold when it gets below 30 degrees...these keep my hands warm! They are a bit bulky, but for hiking and hanging out in base camp, they are great!

Bought these for my son for Christmas. He hikes and camps regularly and has done nothing but rave about these since he opened them. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic warm-to-weight ratio. I like to keep them in pant pockets during high-exertion activities to just throw over lighter weight gloves when I go static, or sleep with them on a bivvy. They are ultra light weight and ultra packable, so logically won't be extra rugged - but that's kinda expected isn't it? They're nice to pair with unlined soft/hardshell mittens as insulation to make them more rugged.

A great solution to a common problem! These mitts pack down small and provide a LOT of extra warmth. Perfect for hiking or backcountry skiing transitions, or hanging out at the hut. The silicone on the hands helps with grip a bit. They're fragile- don't use these for splitting wood.

I wear these mitts to all of my kids' outdoor sporting events in the Pacific Northwest. They keep my hands warm and dry, every time and in all conditions- rain, hail, snow. Thank you, OR!

I always keep these in my pack because they take up no room and add minimal weight. The palms of these are pretty slick and because they are so lightweight, they aren't great at grip and these are not going to be super durable. That being said, these are great for travel, in my ultra pack, when i'm not sure what the conditions will be, etc. They used to come in a XS/SM and now they come in XS and SM. If you're going to slide these over a liner, go for the larger size as these work by really using the loft of the down.

I bought these for my wife because her hands are always cold. She loves these mittens. They keep her hands nice and toasty during our cold snaps in the PNW. Great product!

The thumbs feel a little short compared to the length of the rest of the glove, but that's my only minor issue - these keep my hands warm and are more packable and light-weight than the gloves I usually bring to keep my hands warm on ice climbing outings or ski transitions. I haven't had an opportunity to test them in extremely cold temps, but was happy with the warmth on a moderately cold day.

I love these things. Super warm. I bought the XL so I would have no problems slipping my hands in, even when wet.

I originally bought these mittens to use as extra-warm inserts inside my Alti mitts for an upcoming trip to -20 degree weather in Fairbanks, AK. They not only CRUSHED the cold on that adventure, but they're so warm, comfortable, packable, and cute that I've been wearing them every day around the PNW winter. I wear them when I coach/cox rowing and they are SO water-resistant, it blew my mind. I absolutely love these. Would have loved them even more if they came in a smaller size-- unisex sizing isn't really a thing.

Bought to keep my hands warm in -30c conditions in the rocky mountains during non active peroids. They are very warm and do a great job. Would recommend a shell if using in snowy conditions.

These gloves are great. I bought them to wear when I went back to visit my family in Wisconsin during one of their many cold snaps. It was below zero for several days and these mitts kept my hands warm. I really appreciated them getting into a cold car in the morning and grabbing onto the steering wheel but not having to feel the cold through my mitts. I have no issue with these gloves, they were warm, fit well and functioned as expected. I didn't use them in any kind of outdoor activities so I can't say anything related to how well they would hold up to abuse. All in all, great gloves that I would buy again.

Amazingly warm, these down mitts kept my hands toasty during a winter backpacking trip in the desert. Sized well, these mittens have a long enough cuff to stuff your sleeves into. They endured a few prickly plants and doubled as protectors for electronics at night! My favorite part is how compact they are and that they clip together so I won't lose one.

I've been searching for mittens like these for so long and I feel that my quest is finally over! I've bought several pairs of mittens that are warm, but bulky or heavy and don't grip things well and these are the solution to the bulk. These are lightweight, warm and I can actually feel what I'm doing in them! They are made from that rip-stop nylon that will probably tear as easily as down jackets do, but in the meantime, these are fantastic and highly recommended.

Great mittens for shoeshoeing and walking the dogs in freezing temps! Also will take them early season camping as they pack down to about nothing.
