These shoes are super comfortable, even with my orthotics in. I love that they're waterproof, and they keep my feet nice and warm. I use them walking the trails and for everyday wear.

I wear these on the trails, and around town in the rain. The waterproofing has held up so far (one year) and the support is great. They are a lighter alternative to boots. I have the similar looking boot, but these fit more like a shoe. I wear them with inserts, but I need inserts for most shoes. I like the look, too. The laces are overly long, but I find that the case for all my NB shoes.

These shoes are great for the colder weather. They are comfortable, sturdy, and they keep my feet warmer than my lightweight running shoes. The toe box is wider than my NB running shoes. I wear these shoes for walking and everyday activities.

Love them. I can wear all day. Please make them in black too!

The shoes are very comfortable and offer the support I need for my heels and arches.

These are fabulous! They're super comfy, warm, & waterproof. I have a bad habit of easily slipping & falling on the awesome Rhode Island winter slush, but these have me feeling more stable & sure footed than anything else I've ever worn. They're also great if you'd rather not wear a full boot since they're more like a regular shoe. So I glad I invested in these!

This is a very comfortable shoe. It is lightly padded on the inside and only required a minimum of breaking in. And that only because my feet are very bony and sensitive. For most people it probably wouldn't require any breaking in at all. They give lots of support for long walks and I love that it is waterproof. This will be my go to shoe for winter walks and rainy days.

My wife use the product for walking, she stated that they are extremely comfortable, like the material that they are made from. Wishes that the laces were just a little longer. Laces are coated and come undone easily, if they were longer then she could double knot.

I like the way this shoe looks and fits - it is not a shoe that I would want to wear on long walks, but but great for running errands around town

Nice looking shoe, keeps the water or snow out well. It isn't as cushiony as my other NB fresh foams, and they are a little heavy with a sturdy footbed, so I can't wear them daily. I don't wear them often, only trail walking or when wet out. Beautiful colors, and fabric! I got the navy.

Have a pair of old walking shoes from New Balance, wanted to replace them. These were the nearest thing but although they look good and are moderately comfortable they are very stiff and don't mould to the foot. I wear them for short walks but wouldn't trust them (yet) for long hikes.

I enjoy wearing them, but when it's raining, dirts get in, unlike the short boot type

Wear these shoes everyday, really comfortable Bought boots also. Depending on thickness of sock I wear a 6W or 6WW. I have a high instep. I didn't give a 5 rating, would love to see more updated colors, brighter for summer, plus I keep buying same color. Heel a little too wide

I have a high instep and wide forefoot and am looking for a good walking shoe. In the past I have worn an 8EE but find that virtually all New Balance shoes now run narrower and even the extra wide widths come with a tapered toe which does not work for a wide foot. This shoe is the exception. It has a nice wide toe box and I can get it closed over my high instep. Unfortunately, the heel is huge and my foot will not stay in the shoe. This shoe feels like it was designed for a man's foot, not a woman's. Toe box is true to size, heel is large. Wish NB could come up with a shoe with a wide toe box and a normal size heel for a woman's foot..

This is my 2nd pair of the same shoe. This is the ticket for healing, in addition to custom insoles, for my plantar fasciitis. Because of that, I called customer service to inquire about other styles that contain the same components as this shoe. She didn't know. Said she would email me with the answer in a couple of hours. She did email me as she said she would, with the answer, "she couldn't find that information anywhere." I had already looked all over online for the answer before calling customer service. I then put in an inquire through the website. It's been over a week. I have not heard back. If only the website contained an adequate description, I would be able to search for other styles with those components, if I knew what those components were. Dear NB, You would sell more shoes through your website if you had complete description across all of your shoes. I am quite disheartened with the customer service of this company. I guess I will start looking elsewhere for a different style shoe with good support. Maybe somewhere that actually answers their customer's inquiries.

Recently ordered this shoe to use for trail walking/hiking at the metro parks. The shoe fits well, is light weight and tested water proof. The shoe keeps my ankle from rolling and has nice traction. I would purchase again.

This shoe is a daily wear for me. Over all it has a nice feel. Comfortable foot bed, good cushion when walking. Only negative is my foot pushes to the toe and there is a good amount of slip in the heel.
