I had a pair of New Balance 965 waterproof walkers for years (10-12?) and loved them. Since those aren't made anymore I had to find what looked like the next best thing. Now I'm sold on the NB 1300. They fit right out of the box. I wear a women's size 5W, not because my foot is wide but because my instep is so high. Not a problem with these. So far, I don't need to put my orthotics in. Being a dog walker in all weather conditions, these are just the thing. Dry feet are important! I love 'em!

I do a lot of walking. These shoes are comfortable, supportive and seem to wear very well.

This is a great shoe for my needs. I have bought several pair & am grateful that NB has not made revisions to date. I wear an orthotic in one shoe & a Richie brace on the other foot/leg. I walk 4-5 miles a day. This shoe provides excellent support, wears well & accommodates both devices when I increase shoe width & remove inner soles. I am also grateful to find this shoe in a hard to find size women's 12. Applying a protective spray to new shoes makes them waterproof. Great color... dark grayish blue. Looks more like a regular shoe vs. an athletic shoe. Would love to see this shoe in black. As long as structural changes are not made to this model, I will continue purchasing them again & again. It is $ well spent.

This shoe fits as stated. A really great slushy shoe as its waterproof and has a good gripping sole.

I use my new balance sneakers for every day wear. I love my sneakers. Worth every dime that I paid for it. I plan on buying more. I would definitely recommend to everyone. Made in the good old USA.

These are a replacement for an old pair which has seen better days. Those were brown and smooth leather. These are blue and new buck. They are very good looking and comfortable. I am very pleased to be able to get an extra wide in this style as it is waterproof and great for walking in the rain and after storms.

I am on my feet on concrete for 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. Also I had surgery on two toes 6 months ago. I bought these shoes recently and they are comfortable and people comment on how good they look. They are the color of denim. Not a true grey, but a blue grey. I buy new shoes every 6 months for work. They have to be leather. These shoes look like soft suede. I can wear them anywhere and I don't feel like I'm wearing work shoes.

I bought this pair of shoes in anticipation of a trip to Europe. Now I will be wearing them to Las Vegas and Germany. They look great and are very comfortable for hiking shoes. I will probably buy them again when I wear these out.

These are great walking/ hiking boots. The rollbar keeps my feet sturdy and they are comfortable. I hope in the future you offer these boots in black.

I love, love, love these waterproof shoes. They need no break-in time, and fit me perfectly in my normal size 5B. The colors are great because they go with everything: navy, grey, black, green. They are perfect for serious walks in the winter. Please make them in more colors.

I have numbness in my feet and need a sturdy shoe. This one goes above and beyond all I want and need. It's also a really nice looking shoe and its water resistant. I like New Balance and appreciate the subtle N on the side because I wear these for work.

Very good shoe that is perfect for trail hiking in Switzerland and here at home in Ohio. This is my second pair of the 1300s, nothing compares to the comfort and durability. Wish they came in another color besides gray. I also own the 1400 boots, they are also very good.

Great for my wide, flat duck feet. Water resistant and warm in the winter.

I use these shoes to walk in light rain and when I need to use soles which grip.

I have replaced my garden shoes with one of my pairs because they give me the comfort and stability I need over uneven ground, solid footing when using a shovel and waterproof means I can get wet without worry of a stiff shoe like my previous pair of garden shoes. My second pair are for hiking and general work around the house, they look good enough to wear out and about. Love them!

I am a zookeeper and use these as my work shoes they have remained waterproof for almost 2 years of wearing them every day. I also really like the look and color of them. Thinking about purchasing them again! My only issue is that my current pair has gotten a bit torn up on the inside and on the heel, but I attribute that to a very physical job with lots of wear and tear involved.

These shoes keep my feet dry in the snow and give good traction to keep me for slipping and sliding.
