This is my third pair of this style and I have to agree that they seem to run slightly shorter and definitely narrower than my other pairs. This impacts me less than others since I am a 10.5 and purchased the 11 (come on Clark’s...how about making shoes in 10.5?). My foot runs slightly narrow too so again I can make these work. The problem I see is inconsistent sizing but it’s across the industry... really only buy them because of Zappos generous return policy. So I am keeping these and do love them, but would advise others that they are running smaller and narrower than the originals.

I have this exact style and color (pewter) that I bought 2 years ago. It's a good neutral metallic bronze and is comfortable, but I needed a replacement. I ordered the same shoe in the same size, but the fit is not the same. My first pair was a 7.5 made in China. They fit perfectly. This pair was a 7.5 made in Vietnam. Set beside my old shoes, these are obviously longer and I could not keep them on my feet. I will probably return them for a half size smaller and hope for the best, but it's hard to know how to order when things are being made in various countries which obviously don't use the same sizing standards. Thank goodness Zappos has free returns!

Too lose in heel.

foot bed not enough support or cushion. Can not remove insole either.

I liked the style of the shoe very much but find it to be uncomfortable because it can not accommodate a needed large "toe box" and a "narrow heel".

I thought the shoe fit well and was comfortable enough, but found the style childless looking. To me they looked like "little girl" shoes. I returned them.

These shoes appear to be well made, as usual for Clarks. I have a wide foot and am challenged to find stylish but comfortable shoes in wider widths. Unexpectedly, these were both too long and too wide and not stylish at all. I was looking for a comfortable shoe that was nicer than a sneaker for an upcoming trip. These will not be making the trip with me. I think with the right size (size down in both width and length), these would be comfortable.

I got these because I'm on my feet a lot at work. They are quality shoes, but though I ordered a wide width, they squeezed my foot across the top, near the ball of my foot. Not sure this style will work with my wide feet.

Well made shoe but really large in the mid-foot and toe area.

I really wanted these to work for me - but the 7.5 were too "shallow" (the top of the shoe pushed too much on my foot) and the 7.5 wide were too big and my foot slipped out.

I was trying to replace an old Clarks Wave shoe (Mary Jane style) that they apparently don't make anymore. This shoe seemed the closest match. The pewter color was an exact match to my old one and the fit was perfect. However, there are criss-cross straps that go over the top of your foot and only the outer one is adjustable with velcro. The other one rubbed against my foot and I thought it would only get worse if I walked a lot in them on a warm day, which was my purpose for buying them in the first place. So I returned them.

I usually wear a 9W(D). Clark shoes are true to length or sometimes slightly long for me. I often have a problem with heel slipping with their slip on styles when I get the width I need . D width was just ok but I anticipated wearing them in summer and wanted more room for feet swelling so I ordered a 9 WW .Width was great but my heel was slipping out. Decided not to chance walking out of them.

I really wanted to love this shoe. It is very cute and my kind of style. It even accommodated my hammer toe and wide foot. But the strap the crosses the top of my foot is not close enough to my ankle to keep the shoe in place, causing it to fit more like a flip-flop than a shoe. I hope Clarks gets their act together and makes shoes that work as hard as they are cute.

A bit too loose in the heel for me. Wanted to like these but sent back. Other than a loose heel felt very comfortable.

Out of curiosity I decided to order the extra wide instead of just wide in this shoe, and also another one from a different brand. In the other brand the extra wide was perfect, but with this shoe it just feels huge on my foot. I didn't change the "felt true to width" above, though, because maybe this is exactly what extra wide is supposed to be like! I was swimming around in these, no way to make them work. Also, I try to be very careful before ordering shoes, looking at all the photos, and I watch the video if there is one, so that I'm really sure I like the way it looks. Even after all that, I did not like the look of this shoe in person. The style didn't look good on my foot, and maybe I should just stop trying to order brown shoes altogether. Brown is a problem. Also, note to self, just get regular wide in Clarks and not extra wide.

I liked the shoes, but way too large.

The NAVY is more grey than anything else. Not navy. Very disappointing as the fit and style was what I was looking for. I have a narrow foot and the narrow width was perfect.

These are wider than my narrow foot allows and the Velcro doesn’t stay shut due to that. Pretty show

I was very surprised as usually Clarks are wide enough and 1/2 size too large .... not the case with these I'm 6 1/2 or 7 wide so I ordered the 6 1/2 not even close these are going back

Bought in brown, wanting a leather look. Appeared more like vinyl.

The shoes besides being slightly to small, the stitching on top pinched my feet.

These fit fine, but they make my size 12 feet look even longer. Fine for walking and being on your feet a few hours a day. Not much arch support, though. Look cute with jeans. A good everyday shoe, nothing spectacular

I purchased a very similar shoe about 4 years ago. I've worn them a lot. They need replacing but the new ones run tighter across the arch of my foot, so, unfortunately I'm returning them.

The extra-wide fit on this shoe is perfect! Unfortunately, the foot bed is not removable and the lack of cushion in the toe area will leave my feet hurting after a short time walking. Need more support and cushion.
