I bought this shoe based on the reviews about multiple customers in the medical feild wearing these for 10-12 hour shifts. As a vet tech myself I work 8-10 hours a day, I don’t get to sit down, and I probably do 4-6 miles a day in my office. While these shoes look nice with my scrubs and are easy to wipe clean, which is why I have them two stars, they are NOT comfortable for long days. I’ve had these shoes for two months, I ended up putting new $40 pair of inserts in them after one month. I was coming home with my legs and feet hurt aching. Even those seem to fail me with these shoes. They stretch so much as you walk in them, that the ball of my food moved around too much even with the laced cinched down, I’m also constantly moving my foot back over onto the arch support because it end up running the outside of my foot all day. Overall I would not buy these shoes ever again. I’m already having to look for a new pair of work shoes which I can normally get a year out of but buying such expensive pairs of shoes. This has really put me back, and I’m very disappointed in the product. Fyi I do not have any medical issues with my feet, I have never needed special inserts or orthotics.

I have plantar fasciitis, and had high hopes for this shoe. I think it might work for some folks, but the orthotic is foam, and flexes a lot when you walk, which doesn't feel adequately supportive (to me) Also, there is a lip on the inner edge of the ankle support, which is irritating if you have sensitive ankles. That said, the fabric and style are attractive for an athletic shoe.

This shoe was very comfortable and if that's all you're looking for great, but I have problems with them saying these shoes are slip resistant! I had to be very careful not to slide in these shoes. I wore them for 1/2 hour at my job and knew I had to return them.

Haven't had a pair of Nurse Mates since college. I've tried every other brand (seriously- Dansko, Nike, Merril, New Balance, Ariat, Skecher, Haflinger, etc) and have never been able to find a pair that doesn't have some sort of problem. In their defense, I do have a problem body. Severe scoliosis, two feet full of hardware (bunion surgeries), RA, hammer toes. By the end of a 13 hour shift on my feet on concrete, you can imagine I'm hurtin for certain. I took these shoes right out of the box and wore them today. They were AWESOME. No rubbing, slipping, or squeezing. My heels don't feel like they've been pounded with hammers. My hips feel fine. Wow! I'm impressed! They're quiet too. The style is cute- love the sparkle on them. I'm glad I took a chance on Nurse Mates again!

I love them! Their super comfortable.. I work 12hr shifts and I'm on my feet most of the time and this shoes are perfect.. they look cute too I got a lot of compliments.

These shoes are great if you are on your feet all day. They are not quite as wide as I would have liked them, but they are stylish and the alignment inserts are amazing.

If your feet sweat these are not for you. They are very hot!

I usually am either a 6.5/7 for shoes; I got the 7 and it fits very well. I am a bartender in a restaurant, so I am on my feet at least 8 hours in my shoes, sometimes more, and also needed slip-free soles. I wore these shoes straight out of the box and into a full Sat. night shift, and there was no breaking-in period for me. They were extremely comfortable right off the bat. The "Align" footpad inside provides some nice support, the cushioning inside the shoe, around the edges is really nice for tired feet. These shoes had elastic laces, but they provide an extra sets of regular laces you can tie if you want more security. I opted for that since we have stairs at my job. I highly recommend these shoes if you work on your feet. Style-wise, they are alright. The cushy gray lining makes them look a bit orthopedic, but my co-workers thought they just looked like "normal" work shoes. A+ for comfort, support, and traction.

I've worn them to work for two days. I probably average walking a mile every hour on concrete, and my feet normally hurt bad while I'm at work and they're throbbing when I get home. My knees and hips also hurt. Today, my feet don't hurt at all. I do have shin pain, but I think it's from adjusting to a new "alignment" of my feet. I didn't notice knee or hip pain either. I really like these shoes. They may be just a bit small; however, they'll probably relax a little with a some wear.

First experience with this brand and am loving them! I work all day on concrete floors and my feet are so comfy in these shoes! Wore them at work all day today and still have them on hours after getting off work. Might have to get another pair before long!

These are shiny shoes. I like them for looks and comfort. However, these shoes are Not Slip Resistant as stated. I had better traction in my old, busted, tread completely worn off( off, not down) tennis shoes than these. Maybe the difference is in the fact that these are nurses shoes and I work in a bakery/deli ?????. I figured slip resistant meant slip resistant. But honestly, walking across a floor with a thin layer of water shouldn’t almost land me on my behind.

Most comfortable shoes I've had in a long while. Out of the box and on my feet for longs days with NO complaints. Good looking too.

Love these shoes! Every time I wear them I get compliments on how fun and cool they look. They are dressy enough to wear with my slacks to work or dressy jeans on a night out. My feet love them. The first 2 times wearing I had a lot of foot and leg fatigue. Now I feel great. I stand 10 hrs and walk 10,000 plus steps at work each day so these shoes have been a huge find. I noticed the days I don’t wear the nursemates brand my feet are so much more tender and my calves and joints are more achy. I needed to have dressier shoes instead of always wearing orthotic or fitness shoes so I will be back looking for any updated color choices. I would buy another pair right away.

Just worked day #3 back to back 12 hour shifts and these are the first shoes I've found that my feet weren't crying at the end of the day. Love that they can easily be wiped clean.

Really liked the feel of the cushioning, but the shoes felt too narrow through the toes and caused me to have problems after awhile.

I wore the heck out of these shoes right out of the box. Excellent shoe for the price.

I chose to use the shoe strings as opposed to the elastic so that I could have a more secure fit to my particular foot. Love the groovy mosaic!

Love this shoe! I wear an 8.5, but got a 9 and it's perfect fit. Very light and comfy. It also comes with regular laces (which I use), and I find that they make these fit much better. They also support my arches so my plantar fasciitis never flares!

I bought these shoes because I can't try anything on right now (because everything is locked down) but really needed new walking shoes. Other than the color (I have to wear all black at work) these are the exact shoe I wear to be on my feet 8-9 hours per day. Just like the two pairs I've bought for work, they require no break-in period at all. The support in the soles eventually wears out on all active shoes, but when these do, I will probably buy these again.

I am very happy with these shoes. They really do help my back and feet. I will buy these again for sure.

Ordered both 8 and 8.5 in these since I haven’t ordered this brand before. Had to return both as the 8.5 was a little big (the arch support in the shoe was too far forward in the shoe for my foot) and when I tried on the size 8, the shoe was too narrow over the instep. I think This means these might run a little narrow? I do t have particularly wide feet but some brands just don’t work for me. Too bad because they were really cute.

I LOVED how these shoes looked on my feet! But they just weren't comfortable for me. They were too tight if I wore them with my orthotics and the removable inserts, but they were uncomfortable with just orthotics or just the removable inserts. :( So cute, so sorry to send them back!

too small especially in width

I was really hoping to like these shoes. When I first tried them on i noticed the high arch support. It almost feels too high for my comfort liking. The overall shoe is super narrow and tight on the upper portion. One shoe fits way differently then the other and gives blisters. However I do like the quality of the shoe and the overall appearance. The adjustable/lace up laces are also a great feature!
