One shoe felt awesome and the other felt like a torture chamber! I hate these shoes. I thought I could break the one in, but it hurts soooooo bad.

I bought these shoes for nursing school, and have worn them during clinicals for one semester. I can’t stand them. They are too wide, too long, pinch the tops of my feet if I try to tie them tighter, and they are so stiff my feet flap against the ground. I will be looking for new shoes.

Fit was extremely narrow and tight throughout. I was considering a large width, but the show was tight at the top as well. Great look & style. Did not seem comfortable for the 1 minute 1 wore them. Will be shipping back. I am still n the hunt for the best shoes for the dental field.

When I bought these shoes, I didn't realize that the heel was so high. They were not comfortable for me. The genuine leather uppers are wonderful tho and would mold to your feet for a custom fit.

I purchased these shoes to fill uniform requirements for the National Park Service. I mostly work indoors in a museum/office setting but regularly get 10k - 15k steps a day. These shoes fit the “brown & polishable” that I needed while being comfortable. Felt great right out of the box and have had no issues after two weeks of daily wear. Fit true to size (9.5, wide) and I love the elastic laces. Insoles are removable, so I’m hoping to just replace those as needed.

These are my favorite shoes for work. I am a nurse and I work 12 hour shifts. This is my 4th pair of these shoes. Only once did I purchase a second pair due to comfort; I usually replace when there is a sale or the shoes are starting to look worn. I love that these are wipeable, slip on, and stylish!

I use these shoes to work in a restaurant 8 hours a day and they feel good.

Perfect fit, these are very comfortable! I really love the elastic bands for laces, and that they give you standard laces as well if you’d prefer that instead. This is my second pair of velocity’s because nursing school requires all black so I was really excited to see I can wear them for work with my fun butterfly pattern and for school as well. Will be buying more when needed!

One of the best supporting shoes I’ve had! I work in a veterinary clinic and it’s holding up so far. I like this style over the Dorin, but I’d highly recommend both!! Definitely will order again!

Amazing! Excellent arch support! I got the black leather. I would have expected them to look less attractive for how supportive they are, but they look good. Very happy with these. I wasn’t sure about the slip on style, elastic laces, but turns out that I love that feature. You can also adjust the elastic lace to fit tighter or looser by unknotting and reknotting it. Or switch them out for the regular laces that came with them.

These Nurse Mates were really comfortable! I wear a 9.5 and have a slightly narrow foot. The 9.5M fit great. I chose the black & white color with sparkles, which suits my personality well. The stretchy laces allow for quick slipping off and putting on. I also ordered the Black color in the same style. Unfortunately, it felt shorter, a little wider and definitely not as comfortable. I sent Black back, kept my sparkly ones.

Love these shoes! Bought them for nursing school. I have worn them two times now for about 8 hours each and my feet haven't hurt at all by the end of the day. Love the style and that you can just slip them on. I have narrow feet and with socks and compression socks on they are not too loose. I hope the leather holds up over time!

I really adore these shoes. I'm not a nurse but I am on my feet for 8 hrs a day. They are comfortable and as with other shoes I didn't have manipulate them or break them in before wearing them, I bought them for comfort and that's what I got.

I bought this pair of shoes twice to wear in my job at a veterinary emergency room. They're extremely comfortable for long days, and slip resistant.

I LOVE these shoes! I got them as a present for finishing my first year and a half of nursing school and used them for all my clinicals! The stretchy laces allow the shoes to adapt to your feet as they naturally swell (being on your feet all day) and fit well with my compression socks! They are super sturdy and supportive but after 2 1/2 years of use I definitely need a new pair! I look forward to ordering a new pair for my new grad job!

I loved every thing about these shoes. They are pretty, relatively lightweight with good arch support. However, their construction on the interior pressed against the nerve on the top of my foot, not because they are too tight, just where the seams meet. Sadly, I had to return them.

I loved these shoes and they felt great overall but with my orthotics, it made them a tab too small. I wear an 11 and had they had an 11.5 and would have reordered. They were returned unfortunately.

Was looking for some black tie shoes that would accommodate my AFO. There are my dress shoes & very comfy & stylish. Highly recommend!

I have never tried Nursemates before. That is going to change. The arch support is excellent. The cushioning is outstanding. I can see being able to walk for hours with these. The toebox is very roomy. I did order the D width, which is great for my wide feet with a bunion. I changed out the stretch laces (which allow you to just slip them on) for full laces, which give me more support. The only quibble for me is that the heel area is a bit large for me. With the laces, I can adjust for that, so I'm keeping these. I originally purchased a pair in a 9, but these fit more like active wear shoes, so I had to size up a half size.

Honestly everything was perfect except I ordered the wrong size! Love the website, love the service, and if I didn't need the money right now I would not be returning this item. I will definitely buy from you guys again.

My daughter is a nurse and on her feet for long shifts at the hospital - bought her a replacement pair. She specifically asked for these again - says they are incredibly comfortable for those on their feet for hours on end. Great looking shoe - even with scrubs!
