Have owned a pair of these boots since mid November 2017. Overall very disappointed in the quality, it seems there is just no support left in the side walls of the boot and the leather is try and cracked after only a couple months of daily wear. Also "normal" wear and tear is not considered under the lifetime warranty. If you plan to use these daily, choose a higher quality boot. If your looking for style its a nice boot until the leather starts to look worn.

I bought 3 pairs of this shoe, two in the lighter color and one in the darker color. Each one just felt cheap. When you run your fingers over where the toes are, you can tell the leather is dry and literally the first day out they were flaking. They were giving as gifts or else I would have returned them on the spot. From what I was told, they are very comfortable and I'm sure if the leather was in better shape they would be awesome to have. But obviously with it being all three that I bought, and a previous review on here saying the same thing, I would probably stay away from these.

When I saw the tag on the inside of the boot that read "waterproof" I immediately thought they would be great for rainy weather, but I was wrong. After barely two weeks of wearing them my toes started getting wet in light rainfall (not to mention, I always circumvent puddles). Suffice it to say, I'm really disappointed in the quality of these boots.

I wanted to love these boots. They are initially comfy and super cute.
But they give horrible horrible blisters on your ankles - even through thick socks. The whole inside of the boot is a fleecey warm material...except for the ankle area, which is just exposed to the course material of the outer boot.
I've been a few similar reviews around different sites, but most are so good, that I am so surprised by the extreme discomfort. I wanted a boot I can wear everywear - walking the dog, light hiking, etc - and this unfortunately isn't it.

I love the boots they are comfortable unfortunately they look 100 years old and are less than a month old. They lost all their color.

I've had these boots for two weeks. They are destroyed after a 8 mile hike at Sequoia and a 5 miler at Bryce. I really wish I had gone with a different pair.

There were the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever tried on. Especially near the ankles. I exchanged for a VIONIC pair. Much better

I absolutely adored these shoes for about the first month I owned them. The poly dip coating wears quickly which then leads to deterioration of the leather. I called north face and they recommended nik wax coating. Unfortunately the product did not save the boots. Save your money for another brand. North Face was once top notch but now the materials are poor and even the warranty is just a dog and pony show. They don't stand behind their products at all. It's a shame so many brands have moved toward this method of business.
Disappointed.,

The fit was true to size. It does run a bit wide but it was comfortable. I am very disappointed on the quality of the leather. It was as if it has been worn and the leather is already peeling off. I would not recommend this product. I'm so disappointed on this product that I'm returning it without trying it out for a day because I can already tell that the leather material won't even last a few days.

I was disappointed with the boots when they came in. They are a rough texture and not real leather even thought the title says "leather". The description says that it is PU treated leather which is not real leather. I feel like they could have been more truthfully advertised on the website.

I am very disappointed in these boots. They have barely any cushioning, so my feet hurt after only an hour of wearing. The sole insert is only a few millimeters thick, but there wasn't enough space in the toe box when I tried switching out for my own inserts. Also, after wearing for only a day, I already saw significant wear to the soles, making me think that the shoes won't last long. My final issue is that the fabric on the inside causes my pants to get pulled up as a walk, which is extremely annoying. Overall, I'm really upset I spent so much on these boots - I feel like I wasted my money.

I really wanted to love these boots! They are comfy. But the look like they are poor quality, for the price that is upsetting. My boots did not match - the shapes of the toes were different. I've never seen that in boots before. They were just slapped together in the assembly line. Bummed to have to send them back.

The leather was so dry, it was literally cracking. In fact, it didnt even look like leather. More like cheap plastic. The hardware, laces, everything looked cheap. Save your money, buy another pair of boots. Returning.

I was very dissatisfied with these boots. I bought them for a walking/hiking trip of Ireland. The exterior leather was treated but very coarse and the rain seemed to soak in instead of be repelled. They were very uncomfortable. Little to no arch support and were narrower than expected. I threw them away after the trip.

I bought these boots for wearing in fall weather..
Once I looked up what PU Leather actually is, I've
changed my mind on keeping them. PU Leather is a man-made inferior product to genuine leather; it wears out fast and does not have the same maintenance requirements as real leather.
It's unfortunate because these boots are the style I've been looking for! These boots would be 100% better if they were GENUINE LEATHER and WATERPROOF.
Additionally, women deserve the same quality in a boot as men. The same Ballard boot for men is WATERPROOF AND FULL-GRAIN LEATHER. Give me a break...

I bought these in november and we are now in January and about two weeks ago it was a slushy day by the time I got how my feet were sopping wet. But i am very satisfied with the customer service within an hour they had started a claim and they let me pick out a new pair of boots.

It does not specially say that these boots are waterproof but it does say all season boots and with ice pick lugs I would assume they would be good in snow, slush and rain. I was very wrong. If you are in light dry snow they are ok but as soon as it warms up your feet are soaked. What's the point on making a winter boot that's not waterproof. They also only lasted one winter. After that the soles were worn down and had zero grip left. Disappointed and not for the first time with TNF footwear.

Nice looking comfy boot but not suitable for winter wear. Not at all waterproof.
