I'm a zoo keeper. So I am on my feet all day long. These boots are amazing! They are very comfortable and move with my foot on exactly how I need them. In five years I finally found a boot that I like. Down side? They are not waterproof. For the price you pay. You'd think they would be. They also look six months worn in instead of just over a month. I'd buy another pair for the summer.

I purchased these boots to have a more “rustic” option for fall. I love them. I wear them with a Birkenstock sock because the shafts are higher than most of my socks. The two look very cute together. More important, they provide warmth! Almost right out of the box, I wore them on a quick trip to Germany. Very comfortable on the plan and walking around. Looking forward to wearing them in upstate NY ina few weeks.

Loved the look of the shoe but no arch support and no support in footbed.
Also, not narrow enough for my foot.

I found these boots to be a bit big, but am keeping them anyway for times I'll want to wear thicker socks. I like the style and anticipate they’ll hold up to use

It's nice to have casual shoes that look the part and are comfortable enough to wear the whole day. The color and texture are also great. The one downside is the lack of a shoe loop. It's a little hard to get these shoes on without it.

I love these boots! I just bought them for a hiking trip to Denver. They're super light weight and more stylish than normal hiking boots. I've never been hiking and don't plan on hiking that often so I chose style over practicality really. I wanted something I can wear in the fall and winter and get more use out of these boots rather than buy heavy, high quality (but ugly) hiking boots that I'd hardly ever use. The leather on these boots are very dry though but I feel that's part of their rugged style. I'll probably be using leather conditioner on them. All in all I'm content with these boots but I wouldn't buy them if you're looking for genuine hiking boots or if you're an avid hiker looking to hike in a spectrum of weather conditions.

These boots are so comfortable! As I read in a review before purchasing, the leather is distressed and seemed a little dry and crunchy. I used leather conditioner on it, and I like the way they feel now. I feel like I'll buy them again once I wear these babies out!

Love these boots especially the wrap-around ankle tie! They may not be suitable for wearing long distances, but for casual day wear they're fine. The material is interesting, strange crackle-like texture. I think I'll seal them w/ SnoSeal to make waterproof.

These boots are a solid choice. Very comfy and lightweight. Can't comment on how they hold up to water, but I used them hiking in Zion & Bryce and they rocked. My only concern is that there's a "button" near the ankle that rubs my bone a little, but it hasn't been enough to be painful or develop any blisters.

Boots were purchased for a college aged daughter to wear to class, & when going out. These North Face boots are high quality, warm, & look great.

Just received these boots and have only worn them only once, but they are extremely comfortable. I have been having a lot of foot issues lately and in desperate need of comfortable boots to wear all day while traveling and these definitely made the mark. Plus, I automatically received compliments. I am in between a 6 - 6.5 fairly narrow foot and the 6.5 fits perfectly, and I can wear a warm sock if necessary. I especially love that they are waterproof. Will update if I have any issues moving forward.

I've been looking for cute, warm boots forever and these are the perfect fit! The only con I would say is the boots aren't as shiny as the picture, but I think some leather conditioner will fix them right up (they just look a bit dry). They also kind of loosen up around the ankle throughout the day, but you just have to re-tie them and you're good to go.

Stylish enough to wear in New York City winters and durable enough for hiking snowy/muddy trails in Utah. They're extremely comfortable and warm, and seem pretty weather-proof with everything I've put them through already. However, they do have a matte, unfinished look, unlike how polished they look online. The darker ones are a bit closer to the online picture than the lighter ones.

These boots are absolutely fantastic. I go to school in Upstate New York and use these boot everyday walking to and from class.
However, I gave them 4 stars because the product didn't come in the best shape. The leather of the boot was dry and cracked. I knew this was a flaw as my mom has the same boots in a different size. I tried ordering a replacement pair, but they had the same flaw. All in all, I think this is a small price to pair for a great pair of boots.

I love the boots, they fit true to size. They look exactly like the picture and they are comfortable.
I don't like how they fit a little tight around my ankles, where the sides of the boots kinda rub my ankles.

These are the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned. You don't need to break into these shoes. They are super comfie. The only thing I don't like about it is that it makes my feet look very wide - that's the only reason I gave it 4 star instead of 5.

These shoes are super cute but they should come with a polish or something because after the first time you wet them they look very chapped. I'm going to have to hit up a shoe store soon to get something because I'm afraid they will wear out super fast because of this

The fit and style are perfect. They have that look of being timeless AND on trend. My fave. The only thing is the leather feels raw and unprotected, so I spray them with rain gaurd EVERY time before I walk out the door in them, and they seem to really soak it up, and feel dry again the next day. It doesn't bother me as I think the aged leather look is really appealing. They are comfortable for my wide(ish) foot with out looking bulky, so that's a super plus for me!

These are very comfortable and feel like walking on pillows. I borrowed my sister's on a travel trip to Japan for a day after my feet were hating my own shoes. They were a welcome relief! I loved them so much I bought a pair at home. The leather is rougher and feels much less seasoned than I thought they would be, they definitely need some pre-treatment and weatherproofing before I will try wearing them in inclement weather.
The ankle is high and feels a little stiff for now but that will definitely change with some breaking in.

My daughter loves these boots, but if you don't lace them to the top, the tongue rubs on the lining and makes an odd "swishing" noise as you walk.

For a winter shoe the tongue should have a long gusset. Any moisture coming in from the top will seek in. Also this runs small.

These are great boots, my only complaint was that there was no cushioning in the back of the shoe above my heel but below my ankle, so I had to buy a pad so I wouldn't blister. Ultimately I still love them and would recommend this product to anyone.

Bought these boots for my trip to Amsterdam. They are stylish, but comfy and don't have a high heel. They were a bit stiff at first so I had to break them in. The first day it was very rainy and after trekking 2 miles to my Air Bnb the boots were discolored where they'd gotten wet and I thought ruined. Once dried they looked brand new so I was very surprised by that. I have a flatter foot so they were a tad narrow for me at first (felt tight) but after breaking them in more on that trip with lots of walking they fit perfectly.

I was looking for a nice boot to wear on trails and on public outings. They look great and the sole is very nice. A little narrow so if you have a wider foot then make sure to walk around in them first to see how they feel. I have yet to them on a trail but look forward to it.
