Very small with long sleeves for a medium fitting jacket. Keep that in mind. But love the neck for wind and cold. Nice hood and the faux fur looks good. Very warm jacket. Medium heavy. Not to heavy for cold weather.

This is a beautiful and stylish parka. However, it fits very tight. I fit the standard fit very well. This parka might be slim fit but did not state on the website. I had to return it.

This coat was exactly what I was looking for. It's cute, comfortable, functional, and warm! The only negatives for me were the fur rim on the hood and how the collar currently lays. The fur on the hood looks pretty awkward. It's attached to the hood by an extra zip-awayable segment of fabric. Luckily, I'm not too crazy about fur in the first place, and it can be removed, so problem solved! Also, the coat has a pretty high collar (I suspect to keep the hood in place when it's up), that currently lays kind of weird, but I'm guessing that will get better with time. Overall, I love the coat!

I love this coat! It looks great, is super warm. There have been 2 major snow storms since I bought it that I have had to walk a mile through and I was warm and dry the whole time. The coat looks super stylish and I love it's slim fit. It's hard to find a winter coat that isn't huge on me. I'm around 5'2 105 lb and I bought an XS. sleeves fit perfectly. Coat doesn't feel restrictive and I can fit a heavy sweater underneath and still be comfortable. I like that the coat is machine washable though I would put tennis balls with it in the dryer to fluff up the down. My only complaint is that the zippers are poor quality plastic. I wish they chose a better quality and heavier zipper. The zipper is functional , it just doesn't feel sturdy and sometimes gets stuck.

Love this jacket so much! Super stylish and love the fit. Will use this when I go to Aspen! The only problem I had was the zipper because it was a bit rough to move but other than that it's a great jacket.

I really enjoyed this jacket, it did an amazing job keeping me warm when the weather was in the -20's.

The Far Northern parka is super warm, dry and comfortable. Really like the gray color, just a bit different that my previous black NF coat. I wish the parka came in a longer length, it is just too short.

I love everything about this coat except for a few minor details. The zipper sort of gives me an issue clasping easily at first. I also love that it has the hand slots for a makeshift glove but it always catches my hands when I'm trying to pull my arms through. Lastly, not a huge fan of the hood. It looks cute in photos but it's made more for wearing it super tight around your face and pulls over my forehead when I try to wear it up.

Finally bit the bullet and bought an expensive winter coat. I like the straight cut and it's not bulky. I have wide hips so it's hard to find something that zips up without being huge on top but this one worked well for me. I also like that it dips a bit lower in the back so it's long enough to sit on.

I love this cozy coat! It feels like a sleeping bag wrapped around me. It is very lightweight compared to similar jackets, and I like the slimmer fit. The pockets are deep, positioned perfectly, and lined with a soft fabric. However, the pockets bulge out a bit when not zipped. I wish there was a waist drawstring instead of around the bottom, but I guess it will work to keep the wind out. My major complaint about the jacket is the hood...even when I tighten the drawstring, the fur still hangs over my eyes a bit when up. It is fine without the fur lining. Overall I love the jacket and have been toasty warm outside!

I got this coat because my previous North Fave just wasn't quite warm enough for walk around campus in the winter. This coat is great! It's warm, waterproof and a great length to keep out any wind. I am usually a small, but chose to get this in a medium (I'm 5'5" 115ish lbs) because, while the coat is warm, I am always absolutely freezing and nothing will ever be warm enough. So with this bigger size I can fit a thick sweater and thin vest underneath, but it's also not so big that air is blowing up the bottom! The only con is that it is not very portable and rather heavy, but for all its warmth it's worth it

Excellent jacket for cold weather and windy conditions! However, being a tall woman -- 6' 0" with long arms this jacket is a bit shorter in the arms than I'd prefer but I can live with it I just prefer longer arms. Also, it is a bit snug across the back of the shoulders and I'm not able to wear a sweater or anything bulky under this jacket.

Ordered the green coat & the picture definitely does not depict how dark this coat is. When I took it out of the bag, I thought they had mistaken sent me a black coat! The green coat is definitely more of a hunter green color. This coat feels like it would be great & for a heavy winter coat it is very light weight. The size finder recommended a large size but the large size was huge! Returning this coat for a smaller size & trying a different color.

I was looking for a new parka that was warm as well as waterproof. Aside from that, it is also stylish. My only setback is that NF changed the fit from standard to slim. I had to go up a size in order for it to fit around the shoulders. When I went up a size, the coat from the waist down was a little bit bigger than I had wanted. I'm keeping the coat, however. Please change the fit back to standard.

The coat is nice and I love the color. I got an XXL so that I can wear heavier tops underneath, however the coat is still big. I could've gotten an XL. It is very warm and stylish. I just don't know how much wear I will get out of it since it is a little big.

I really like the green color I got it in. My only critique would be that I wish it was a bit more form fitting-- a bit more room in the upper/chest area and maybe just slightly tailored at the waist, instead of straight down. The pockets are huge and fleece lined, which are great. My arms are pretty long so they fit me but I can't wear the thumb grips! It hasn't been cold enough to really test it out, but I have faith!

I'm generally satisfied, the only thing I don't really like is that the hat is too small, and the fur on it could easily block sight.

I love TNF and own many jackets in my closet! I wanted to replace an older "ski-style" jacket that was waist-length to something that was long to cover my tail during drafty winds during DC winters. I really love the style and wanted something that wasn't too sporty that I could wear with my casual streetwear. After trying on the coat, I noticed how well it fit as a small (I have an average build) but had some trouble with the short inner sleeve length where the thumbs are inserted. I also noticed that the coat often released small feather pieces that transferred onto my dark uniform sweater that were annoying to clean off. The outer fabric quality is great, but felt that it didn't really keep me super warm at 550 fill, maybe because the feathers had to be spread across a larger surface area compared to my shorter jacket. The inner pocket could also stand to be deeper for as long as tech companies keep making larger screen smart phones!

Great Parka, Love the gray color, texture, fabric and style. I little small as I can't wear anything thick layers inside (like a sweater), but since it's super warm enough, i don't need to wear any think layers inside. btw I live in DC so it's not so cold here. :)
