Very comfortable but looked too much a cycling shoe for my taste. Nice but not what I was looking for.

Love these! Adorable colors and styling, light weight, v. good arch support and good room in the toe box. (I don't have wide feet but usually need a pinch extra room in the toe box.) Wore them in Iceland on a glacier, in wet conditions, and walking around Reykjavik - all great. Along with my cozy hiking socks, I felt as though I was wearing a comfy (but rugged!) pair of slippers!

Bought these for my sister and she loved them. They fit her perfectly! Salomon also has the best trail running shoes and their colors are always spot on!

These shoes were very comfortable out of the box! I wore them for a week all over Boston. They allowed me to walk all over with no foot, hip or back pain that I usually have when I walk a lot. I love them. They felt a little big, so I tried a half-size smaller, but they were too small. So I kept my usual size. These shoes made my vacation!

Snug as a bug in a rug :) This shoe was recommended in an ultra running forum I use and they were spot on. It fits like a glove. Amazing cushion, grip and fit. It would accommodate a standard width foot as well as a narrow foot. I love the lacing system.

I love these shoes! Great for running on the sidewalk, running in the rain, and running up wet sidewalks. Provides great support and traction.

I love these shoes! They are a good mix of a hiking (good traction) and an everyday shoe! I bought them specifically for a trip to Australia next month and I'm sure they will be perfect! They feel slightly narrow, but as my feet are on the narrower-normal side, they feel just fine.

This is my third model of this line of running shoe, and I still love them! They are immediately comfortable! I love this shoe for winter running in Vermont because the tread is so significant and even sticky--so great on icy roads.

True to size. I found I needed a size 7 in another running shoe, up from a 6.5, but when I ordered 7 in this one it was too big. There is plent of room in the toe box, so ordered 6.5 in this particular show and it's perfect.

My second pair - first pair was Speedcross 3. I love these - they extremely comfortable. I was thrown off at first by the lacing system but love it now. One negative - on my first pair, some of the traction nubbies on the bottom wore down flat quicker than I would have expected - I may have worn too much on hard pavement. I use these mostly for winter power walking on snow, ice and slushy streets.

This is my second purchase of these shoes. Great for underpronation. A little roomy in the toe, but with all the traction, I usually wear them with a heavier sock for light hiking. I wear these to work when my back is acting up and get lots of complements. My first pair still looks like new so I expect to wear both for a long time.

I've been wearing Salomon sneakers for years. This is the 4th or 5th pair I've bought from the "Speedcross" line and I think this one is best fitting and most comfortable of all. Salomon seems to refine the shoe with each new version. I also love the nutty color combinations. I'm a 7-1/2, but wear a sports orthodic so I buy 1/2 size larger. I've got a narrow foot and heel and the shoe hugs my foot in just the right places to provide support and stability. I wear these in the gym for general workout and for running. My only complaint is that the back outer corner of the sole seems to wear down a bit too quickly. The rubber should be a bit tougher.

I have 4 pairs of XR Mission W's because I love them so much. I learned after I ordered my first pair that Salomon's run about 1/2 size large on me, so after that I have always ordered a 1/2 size down. I liked the looks of the Speedcross so I thought I'd try a new style. I love these even more than my XR Mission W's. I ordered the Veridian Green/Athletic Green/Purple and was a little disappointed that the color appears different in person than in the photos. No matter, I love them anyway and will be purchasing more colors of this style. These are the most comfortable shoes I think I have ever owned.

This is my 4th pair of Salomon speedcross and I absolutely love them. I wear them at work everyday! They are super comfortable and feel great on my feet. Highly recommend them.

Excellent shoe, with great arch support!

These are fantastic trail runners. I like the lacing system and treads on the bottom for dirt trails. I previously had a different model of Solomon which ran big, but I found these to be true to size, though a bit narrower than my previous pair, which was good for me since I have very narrow feet. I opted for the non-waterproof version for better breathability. Really happy with how these fit and feel on the trail. Highly recommended, especially for narrow feet.

I used these trail runners for a few years. I even considered having them resoled when the treads wore down. My feet can be difficult to fit (narrow heel/arch with a wide toe base) but these served me better than most shoes have before. I was a bit appalled by the aesthetic at first, but it grew on me over time. Enjoyed many beautiful trails in these. Would recommend them.

Extremely durable shoe. This shoe is excellent for trail running and light hiking. It keeps pebbles and dirt out easily. I'm prone to ankle sprains, and the support in that regard is outstanding. Traction is very good. The downside, despite actually having bought this same shoe twice over when the first step came to the end of its natural life with holes in the sole and upper: the stance of this shoe, and likely the arching in the bed of it, is quite unique. So unique that this shoe caused me consistent muscle issues in the upper interior of my thigh due to the unnatural stance. Still, I bought that second pair these were so good and to give them one more shot. However, that is the last shot.

They fit great and have a lot of arch support, perhaps too much. My only real issue with them is that the arch support towards the inner side of my foot became uncomfortable. It felt like a lump under that part of my feet, causing great discomfort.

I really wanted to like these shoes. They are comfortable and have enough room in the toes. The colors are bright, but not overbearing. My only issue with them is that they cut in a little narrower in the heel area than I needed making them slightly painful in the back third of my foot. Had to return.

These shoes are very narrow. They held my foot in place very securely but I was concerned that they would squeeze too much. I normally wear a size 10 in athletic shoes and these were true to size. I also didn't like the laces, but they have excellent grip. Ultimately I returned them.
