The arch support is perfect for me with high arches. Also it feels nicely soft and cushioned inside but not squishy on the outside. I think next time I will get the GTX since it is waterproof and this Speecross 4 is just water resistant. I bought the black after returning the orange/blue color of the GTX because it was way too bright for me.

I train in the speedcross 4, and race in the speedcross pro. The 4s have a larger tongue, which hits my ankle, thus making it less of a favorite. The pro tends to wear thin on the side of the forefoot after many miles. Nothing beats this tread for running on trail, mud, and even a little snow on the ice on the lake. Love these shoes. Even on pavement, my 48 year old knees prefer these over cushier running shoes.

These are perfect for being on my feet for hours at a time, on concrete floors. Lightweight and good support. They are my go-to shoe for many years now.

This was my 3rd try for trail shoes, and I'm so glad I tried again. These are comfortable and supportive. They are water resistant (not proof), which is an added bonus. Can't wait to go hiking in Canada with these on!

I bought these for my daughter after I’m on my 5th pair. I use them for running and everyday wear. My daughter loves them just as I suspected. She is just now at the age she is getting into sports, so I have a feeling she’ll have multiple pairs just like me.

Love these shoes for hiking! Use even for longer hikes of up to 15 miles. Very comfortable and supportive. This particular pair not great for pavement as it wears down the tread much quicker, but still comfortable on pavement as well. 2nd pair I've owned and they are great!

Just tried 3 different trail shoes and these are by far my favorite! Comfortable right out of the box. Good arch support.

I needed to invest in some more aggressive trail runners and I found them! These shoes fit like a glove, have nice sturdy bottoms that grip the rough terrain. They are so great for uphill rocky runs. My time has improved! Not too crazy about the tie system but I'm dealing fine. I usually go up a full size in running shoes but these work perfectly with my usual shoe size. I wear an 8 in Saucony and a 7 in these. I normally wear B width though my foot is slightly narrow. If you love trail running, these kicks are wicked awesome!
