This is the first time that I have tried these shoes and it was love at first wearing. Very comfortable and supportive. The only reason why I marked it down to four stars is because my dog also loved them and chewed apart the laces after the first ten days. Finding replacements you have to go to Salomon directly to purchase their laces. Searching for 'laces' on their site doesn't get you what you need ....but after a quick call you can find them under shoe accessories. As a note, other lock laces do not work. Can't wait for the laces to arrive and will be putting these shoes on a shelf at night to keep my midnight muncher at bay. Will be hitting the trails soon for some good dog walks.

Got these for rainy runs here in the PNW and they have great traction for wet, loose trail conditions. Still not sure how I feel about the laces, but they work. Very comfortable while running, but does feel strange walking in them due to the "cleats". So far I'm very happy!

I liked them. Just do not like the material on the inseam. Need smooth all the way across so does not rub when doing long runs. I do love Salomon shoes. They are my go to shoes for running.

I have purchased other solomon's in past and have liked them. They are supportive when running and the traction is awesome. The toe area is narrow and fits true to size maybe a little larger.

If I had reviewed this shoe when I first bought it in Jan-2020 I would have given it 5 stars. But the rubbery tread on the bottom wore almost completely down by September. I walk about 2-3 miles per day, 4 or 5 days a week. I would estimate I wore these a little more than half the time. I've never had a pair of shoes wear out in less than a year before this. So for durability, I marked it down to 3 stars.

Too narrow and felt whole size smaller. Shoes are well made, heavy treading at bottom, lightweight and nice color. Will be returning due to sizing

Shoe ran larger than my usual la sportiva's which are equivalent to a u.s. size 7.5 for women. I think this shoe looks much better online than in person. It's super narrow and honestly kind of ugly haha. I also dislike the weird draw cord type shoe lace. Seems unnecessary and odd to say the least. I'll wear them because I need a pair of black shoes for work, but I will Def never order this brand or shoe again.

I have a narrow foot and especially narrow heel. This shoe runs narrow, but does not have good arch support for feet with high arches. The shoe is very stiff, with little cushioning in the forefoot. Overall, the shoe didn't feel comfortable.

These shoes are a fun color and look great! They are totally waterproof and have great traction for wet and snowy trail running. Unfortunately, just like Salomon ski boots, they run really narrow so I would recommend these only if you have a really narrow foot. Also, the factory insole isn't much support and the shoe is so narrow my orthotic doesn't fit properly. It took me a couple runs to figure out that these weren't going to work (hard to tell if it was the shoe or just a bad day for my foot) so I can't return them but if I could I would!

Really liked these shoes, but based on reviews, expected wide toe box and well-fitting heel. Ordered an extra 1/2 size larger for more room in toe box, but it was still too narrow. Outside of my foot was numb in a few minutes. Wish they offered these in a wide width. These are for narrow feet. I ordered a dark blue, which wasn't bad, but the other colors are crazy bright and cartoony. Too bad. Really wanted these to fit.

Fit is true to size. Am returning b/c the heel slips a bit and I think the laces make it difficult to tighten around the ankle.

I have a "normal" size 8 foot but have narrow heels. This makes shoe buying difficult. This one did not work out.

I love the colors and aggressive look of these shoes. I’ve been wanting to try these for a while so when they were on sale at a great price I jumped at the chance to get them. They definitely fit the bill for trail runners but unfortunately I never hit the trail with them. While I so wanted to love these, after wearing another brand shoe for the last couple of years these felt bulky, restrictive and heavy. I’ve worn another pair of Salomons before on a trail run and after about 6 miles my toes felt cramped. Just the thought of having this same experience made me return these. I know these shoes work for a lot of people but don’t think they would have worked for me. If you need a shoe that has good support and do well in and like a snug fit you will probably like these.
