These are very comfortable right away. Was hoping they were a little less flexible in the toe box (I have orthotics to put in them for plantar fasciitis). But think they will be ok. Nice cushion.

Needed a half size bigger

I've been wearing the Brooks Ghost for walking for several years now. Lighter weight than the Addiction, but not one of the super light shoes. I like it because it gives support for my feet but doesn't weigh me down. I bought the Azalea and I have to say that I love the color. Great shoe and right now, a great price.

I didn't like the color and the size was a little too wide for my foot. Just didn't fit right

I bought this shoe last year and needed a new pair and was glad to see them on sale. These are tight at first but I loosen the shoestrings until they are more comfortable. I like Brooks and they provide good arch support without being too much as I have high arches. For me it is a great walking shoe. Good support.

I ordered these shoes about 2 weeks ago. I love the way they feel on my feet (plenty of cushion) and the colors (black/purple/blue) are beautiful. The only problem I had was that part of the grips on the sole of the shoe started to separate from the sole of the shoe. I did a live chat with Zappos customer service about the issue and they promptly sent me another pair. I can't even begin to tell you how easy the process was and how wonderful customer service was (shout out to Trinity, my CSA). I will never fear ordering anything from Zappos. A+ customer service! Thank you for making it easy and hassle free.

I've had several versions of the Ghost, and they are comfortable and work well for my wide, high-arched feet. The fit was great on these, but as another reviewer noted, there is a hard piece of plastic across the toe. My big toe kept hitting it as I walked, so back they went. I ended up getting a pair of Brooks Glycerin instead.

This shoe runs small; order a 1/2 size up! Pushes against big toe otherwise.

Awesome! However, I should have listen to that review that told me to buy 1/2 size up because I too had to return for another pair that was 1/2 size bigger then I normally wear.

The cushioning in this shoe is excellent, but my toes felt too squished. It seemed a little narrow and short.

I have a pair of Brooks Glycerin that I like so I bought the Ghost 9 to try. When I slipped them on my big toe was right at the end of the shoe so I would say they run a full size small. There is a plastic ring that runs around the shoe lace area that cuts right across the forefoot that is not comfortable. There is a nice arch to the shoe, and the colors are nice. I will be returning them because of the small size though.

They run a half size smaller than what I take, more bulk than I like but the cushie insoles were the deciding factor. I tried on different styles in this brand and liked these the best.

I have very narrow feet and have a hard time finding shoes that fit, but the 9.5 narrow in this shoe fit perfectly! They are comfortable and very cute. This is the first time I've worn Brooks shoes and I would buy them again.

I am a walker not a runner. This shoe works well for me. I have to wear orthotics and the 10W accommodates them without rubbing or pinching. The color isn't too bad either considering it's the only color they offer in a wide. Some other manufacturers offer wide widths and it looks like you are wearing clown shoes. And as always... Zappos rocks ! Great customer service and return policy ! That's why I'm a VIP!

I've been running in the Ghost's almost since the beginning and these are definitely different. They seem higher, a little wider than previous versions and overall more substantial. Pros: love the choice of colors. Ghost's always seem to have the fewest options. They seem softer and little more flexible than my previous versions which makes them easier to break in. Cons: I find them to run a tiny bit larger than the previous versions. I know some people mentioned they ran smaller, but I just didn't see that. They feel more substantial than previous models, but I still like the feel. If you are a Ghost fan...you may be disappointed. If you are a Brooks fan running in a more structured shoe and are looking to experience a more neutral run then these might be a good step down.

These are true to size and look great but my arch is a little high and I need more support.

Great shoes but it rubs by the bridge the tongue irritates the skin.

Love these shoes! I am on my feet all day, and needed something with support. At first I was skeptical to spend so much on a shoe but I am glad I did no more foot pain, from hours on my feet. If I were to order again I would order a half to whole size up, I ordered a 9, this is what I normally wear in most shoes and it is pretty snug in the toes.

These seem a little bit wider/looser than both the Ghost 7s and 8s I've had previously, but are still comfortable, and the gray/lilac is relatively nice. I just wish Brooks would provide more options in the lighter color combinations. Not everyone is a fan of neon and clashing colors.

The soles feel a lot harder than the ones I bought at the running store where I live. I've worn them a few months now but from the first day they didn't feel the same, or fit the same and they are same exact shoe just different color. I purchased them a few months ago so can't return as I have worn them to run in a few times but went back to my old ones since the bottoms are so hard they hurt. I even purchased insoles I usually wear and that didn't help either ?

I liked this shoe, but Brooks runs wide and I needed a narrow. My husband love's Ghost 9, but for me, not enough support in the ankles, I guess because I pronate.

I've worn these a few times now. I normally wear 8.5 or 9. Went with the 9. They are very comfortable...like walking on air! But, like other reviewers, the toe area seems small. So maybe even go a whole size up.

Hits my Achilles Tendon ! Will keep trying other shoes.

I first bought this shoe in an 8.5 as I usually size up one half size for running shoes. I think they might have worked if I had two left feet (;-),) as my left foot is slightly smaller than my right one. After wearing them around the house I decided I better size up to a 9 as my feet do swell when running. The 9s are working out well. Now, they fit my right foot the best. I used the heel lock lacing method to make sure they didn't slide around on me. These shoes seem to feel a bit hot to me but so far they are comfortable and no blisters.

These shoes have great support but are still very light weight. Sizing is true to size. I would highly recommend trying Brooks!
