These shoes are great! I use them mostly for neighborhood running. I usually get blisters with new running shoes, but no so with these! Very comfortable. Very cool looking (I got the silver/blue/lime). I have been a loyal Adidas runner for 15 years, but I think the Ghost 9 has convinced me to switch permanently.

I've been wearing the CTS and Glycerin for a couple years but decided to try the new Ghost. Very comfortable and runnable. Good arch support for a neutral runner. Lightweight and flexible.

The shoe flexes properly at the ball and not across the arch, where it is nicely firm. I bought these to replace a pair of Nikes that seemed to want to flex more at the arch than at the ball of the foot, and I started to get arch pain regularly even when not wearing the Nikes. Also replacing a pair of Asics gel shoes that had a weird hump in the insole around the back of the heel that caused deep blisters all around my heel. I've had the Brooks Ghost shoes for months now and they're perfect. No arch pain and no heel blisters. Even the laces seem well thought-out and are stretchy and higher-friction so that they don't come untied.

LOVE Brooks. Have gotten the new ghost every year for past five years or so. This pair seemed to run small. Exchanging for one half size up

I love the style and color of shoe, they did not feel as comfortable as my Ghost 6.

I bought the Ghost 9 as a replacement for my Ghost 6 which I loved. I think I am going to like them nearly as well as my 6's. I do think the Ghost 9 runs slightly larger than the Ghost 6. I had to go up to a size 8.5 for the Ghost 6, so I ordered the same 8.5 for the Ghost 9 and they seem a bit larger. I finally decided not to re-order the 8.0 so I could compare them, so hopefully the 8.5 will be fine. So far, so good. I do really like them, and the red/navy color is a nice change from the bright fluorescent colors. If you fluctuate between 1/2 sizes, I'd suggest you order both sizes to make sure you get a good fit.

I love the Ghost 9! I have worn through two pairs of the Ghost 7 but could not learn to like the Ghost 8 (couldn't quite put my finger on the difference from the 7) but I am back in love with Brooks thanks to the Ghost 9. I am a 65 year old with foot and knee problems (I don't run but do a lot of walking)and the Brooks Ghost 9 gives me good support without aggravating my knees. The wide toe box is a plus for me. I usually wear a size 10 for summer and a size 10 1/2 for winter with thicker socks. Very few brands offer a 10 1/2 so I appreciate that Brooks makes them and that Zappos sells them. As always I am pleased with Zappos speedy service and return policy.

I'm really enjoying these shoes. I've run in them about 5 times so far. I got them because I have high arches and these are helping my feet to roll in a little to absorb the shock. I can tell the difference. Very happy to date.

Comfortable shoe for running 2-4 times per week. I traded in my ghost 7s for the 9s and I have been very pleased. Noticeably lighter and very comfortable. Toe box is slightly smaller but it has not been a problem for me, I would definitely recommend these shoes! Only complaint: I wish they came in a few more neutral color schemes.

I have worn the Brooks Ghost for several years. Be aware that the sizing may change with each generation. I started out wearing an 8.5,then was a size 8 for several generations; now the ghost 9 has changed once again, and I had to return them for an 8.5. The feel otherwise feels slightly different, but great for me-I run about 25 miles/week.

Really happy with my new Brooks Ghost! I was really sad my normal Asics Kayano's style and comfort changed and the shoes hurt my feet. These feel so good on my runs! Perefect fit.

LOVE the Ghost 9..although wish they still made the Ghost 7 - for some reason that was still my favorite! I have a long (11.5) and wide foot...they feel great and provide great support. Thanks Brooks for making shoes for us big footed girls!

The shoe is very comfortable and has made it easier for me to move. I feel like I have the room I need, but not too much.

my favorite shoe is back! After being disappointed in the Ghost 8- and not finding a good replacement I decided to try the 9! Very comfortable, run a little wide through the toe box, but once I've got a few miles in my feet are enjoying the extra space. Great combo of cushion and support. The ghost is the only shoe I've found that keeps my plantar fasciitis at bay, without going to a heavy support shoe.

My first pair of Brooks....WELL WORTH THE MONEY! I am not a runner, but in a doctor's office all day! They match my scrubs, so I figured why not? Comfortable right out of the box!! I have knee issues, as well as feet issues, and these offer just the right amount of support without the weight! I LOVE MY NEW SHOES!!

I'm still considering this shoe. When I first put it on I thought it was wonderful with lots of support---and I could wear thick socks for comfort. However, as I walk around I'm not so sure they will work. I think the problem is my own anatomy; I overpronate and while fixing that foot problem my bad knee rebels at being in the correct position. I'm giving this shoe a high rating because it would be great if not for my structural issues.

Wow. These shoes are amazing. They are very comfortable with very squishy insole. I absolutely love the colors as well, the grey, blue, green, and white colors are very cute together! These are the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have ever worn. When I run (usually 4 miles or so) I used to always get shin splints and have knee problems with my pure flow brooks but with these I have neither! Highly recommend!!

I waited four years to upgrade my Ghost 5 to Ghost 9. I hated all of the colors last year and I was waiting for the 9s to come out. Initially I was unimpressed with the basic colors but then Zappos offered this limited edition Olympic/patriotic one which is more masculine. Since it comes in men's also, I knew I would like it because I tend to prefer the men's colors in this shoe, but the men's is too wide for my feet. I love the comfort of the shoe - it is great for neutral runners. It gets a gold medal.

LOVE these shoes!! Look great, feel great. Plan on getting another pair to alternate.

I really love the comfort, cushion and support of these shoes. I have a high instep and wide foot and the D width accommodates both. The Ghost 9 is much more comfortable than the 7 or the 8. Now if only there was a lighter (non blaring) color! Not sure why every tennis shoe has to be so color dominate.

I have run 3 half marathons in the last 2 years and am training for my first full marathon. I have not upped the mileage and developed plantar fasciitis (heel pain) and saw a podiatrist. He recommended these shoes for my particular arch of the foot. I was skeptical of running shoes and have always purchased size 8 my normal size in Nike / Asics / whatever looked good and felt good at the store. These shoes have changed my 6 weeks of pain. As long as they are on my feet, I feel no pain and can run without pain or close to no pain. I CANNOT BELIEVE a pair of SHOES made this big of a difference. I have never had foot issues my entire life until 6 weeks ago and I wish I would have tried Brooks and got fit for a shoe A LONG TIME AGO. Granted they are not as stylish as Nike but who cares. Go to a running store, get fit or try Brooks out depending on the arch of your foot there are different styles. Ghost is great for high arch. I got a 8.5 instead of my normal 8 and no longer have blisters on my toes like I used to. I am sold on Brooks for life after this experience. Totally worth the price. Now if they could just make them a bit cuter. I got the Azalea/Black/Cyber and they are hot pink/black in person. Very fun color compared to the other choices. LOVE THEM! Saved my heel! I cannot say how much I love these shoes, I am telling everyone. Thank you Brook! P.S. Zappos 1-day shipping does NOT apply to weekends. I ordered Thursday night and got 1 day shipping...they arrived Monday. Not cool. But for real give these shoes a try they are amazing. I also ordered Ghost 8 in 8 and 8.5 and even though Ghost 8 were on sale I prefer the Ghost 9 series. WAY more comfy.

I have three pairs of Ghosts so I love the product. Although, unfortunately with the Ghost 9 I've had issues with the rubber for toe peeling. Zappos was wonderful and even sent me a new pair for free and this pair was ok, until after a few wears and then the rubber toe piece started peeling on the new pair as well. I love the shoes but I feel this is really unfortunate considering the price. Again, overall I love this shoe and would still recommend it!
