I think that Dansko has missed the mark on this waterproof version. I love the concept of a waterproof version of this classic shoe but they’ve done a redesign. I’ve worn Dansko clogs for 20+ years and have always worn a size 37. That being said, I’ve ordered sizes 37 and 38, which were huge and sent them back. I’ve now tried a size 36 which seems to fit in length but the change in insole makes this shoe sit up higher and does not offer proper heel coverage, plus the leather feels flimsier. Needless to say that I am sending this one back as well and giving up on this XP waterproof version. I’m hoping that Dansko has not redesigned my “go-to” oiled leather professional clog. Here goes...

These are more like crocs than the danskos of yore, which I wore for almost 15 years. Made in China. Sad.

BE AWARE: THIS STYLE IS LONGER THAN THE REGULAR PROFESSIONAL STYLE. I'm a 42 in Professional, and XP was much too long. Less arch support, memory foam is unremarkable. I'll be sticking with Professionals over XP's.

I tried to make these work because I read and heard positive reviews, but I just couldn't get around by clunking and making a whole bunch of noise. My feet were more sore and the top portion of my foot hurt. Not for me. I want a shoe that I need to get used to or break in.

XP definitely has a softer footbed than professional. I can tell a difference right away in comfort. Color is nice. Good quality, as always with Dansko. Arrived on time as promised. Love shopping with Zappos.

I wanted to love these. They have great reviews and I know several people who swear by them. I wore them off and on (as much as my feet could take) for about ten days and I can't seem to get used to them. They are so stiff and hurt my feet. I'm sad cause I spend $100+ on them and I can't wear them. And I have heard you have to break them in but it just doesn't seem to be the right shoe for me. I'll just consider it a $100 donation to the goodwill :( oh well, live and learn.

I bought these for my wife - she always wears the same size shoes, her whole life. But these were larger than they said significantly and we had to exchange them. Once we got the exchange she wore them for one full shift at work (she is a nurse) and she came home with bruising and blisters. She says these are the worst shoes that she has ever owned in her entire life and we are now in the process of trying to return them.

Worst shoes I've ever had! If I could give the comfort rating a zero I would. I have plantar fasciitis and bone spurs so I got custom orthotics from my podiatrist. I was trying to find a sturdy shoe as I manage a coffee shop and am on my feet 40+ hours a week. I have given these shoes over two weeks now to break in. I thought it would just take time, but I have blisters all over my feet and they are only making my feet worse after months of them getting better. Such a shame since these are not cheap. I DO NOT recommend these if you have any kind of foot problem. I wish I hadn't bought these. It's a shame I can't return them now either.

I am so disappointed with these clogs. There is no problem with the fit. I purchased these because they are supposed to be slip resistant. They are not! My old basic Dansko clogs were so much better for work. I am sad that I threw them out when these arrived. I do not know what surfaces Dansko tested the slip resistance on but it was clearly not a commercial kitchen.
