I have worn Danskos for 15 years and love them. I have always worn the Professionals to work. This time I compared XP and Professionals. The XPs feel larger than the Professionals. The sole however feels more cushioned. I am ordering a smaller size in the XP so I can compare them better.

So glad I purchased these! I've been wearing Pros for quite a few years but decided to give the XP's a try. These are so comfortable and lightweight. I bought the waterproof only because I liked the oiled look, but the waterproofing has come in handy. I ordered my regular size and width and they fit perfectly.

I've been wearing Danskos for a two decades or more, usually the Professionals or Sanitas. But these new XPs are my favorite. I usually wear a 38 but often had to order, ship back, and then reorder the Pro clogs to find a pair of Professionals that actually fit and were comfortable. However, as soon as I tried on the XP Pros (in a size 38) the fit was superb! With the removable insole, the XPs are even more comfortable than the old Pros. Love these shoes & now have a new favorite Dansko - the XP Pro! Thanks Zappos!

Zappos.com is great. I received my shoes very promptly and I love the free shipping and return shipping. As for the shoes themselves, so far I am really liking them. They seem to help my Plantar Fasciitis pain. I am still getting used to them though. My only complaint would be that the top part that goes across the top of my food is a bit tight. I think it may stretch or I can have it professionally stretched I have heard. I'm glad I got the Pro XP Waterproof ones because they feel much better (lighter) than the traditional ones. Overall a great purchase!

I love Dansko shoes. I have a few pairs of knock-offs for casual wear, but nothing beats these shoes for work!!!

Got these for my wife. She is on her feet all day and moves around a lot. A week of wearing these she says she has more energy and is not as sore. This is her first pair and probably will not be her last.

I got these 2 weeks ago as a last-ditch effort to ease the pain in my right arch & ankle. I could barely stand on that foot for extended periods of time (not sure if it's plantar fasciitis, fallen arch, injured tendon from hiking or what), and none of my other shoes were helping. I put these on right out of the box and have not stopped wearing them for 2 weeks, other than a one-hour hike where all I wanted to do was put them back on again (but they aren't very practical for hiking in snow). There was really no break-in period, they felt comfortable right out of the box. I tried on 3 pairs of Dansko's - these Pro XP's, the regular Professionals, and the Ingrids, and these by far felt the best. I wear a 9 or 9.5 and went with the 40's -- they definitely have a gap in the back but according to Dansko that's how they're supposed to fit, and it didn't take me very long to get used to the feeling of walking in them. (Although be careful on stairs! Sometimes the backs of these shoes catch on stairs because of the gap.) My foot feels a lot better, I definitely think these shoes have helped. The arch support is great and the Pro XP's have a little more padding than some of the other Danskos I tried on. I wear mine with medium-padded socks. They are also really cute (I have the black oiled color), and at 5'4" I like the extra height they give me. They look great with jeans & black pants (pretty much my staple wardrobe) - dressy enough for work and casual enough to wear around the house with my yoga pants. :)

At first I thought the shoes were too big. I have been wearing Dansko's for almost 20 years, so I'm used to the fact that the same sized shoe may not fit the same. (Maybe you got a different cobbler?) Anyway, I figured out the fit felt different because the lining was made from a different material than the others. The original styles had a leather insole, where this one has some synthetic material on the insole. Now that I have broken them in a bit, I noticed that I don't slide around inside the shoe as much as the other styles. Not bad, just different. I will continue to buy Dansko's. After standing for hours, my feet are still much happier in Dansko's than in other shoes!

My foot goes into these shoes, the width is w, which works-but they are snug and with my insoles they do not feel good. Foot is snug.

Have loved Danskos for years- many pairs and I always wear a 41 for my 10.5 size feet. But it is too big- hoping going down to 40 will solve my problem.

Heaven in a Zappos box! Seriously, I was concerned that these would not fit as well as the Professionals that I have had for years, but comparing the 39 in both styles I cannot really feel the difference. Both styles are made for walking - including, in my life, an occasional mad dash through an airport. Gorgeous deep brown color, and the platform is a matching brown as well (you cannot get that in the old Professional). Waterproof too? I am sold!

They are a very comfortable shoe and most importantly they had the right heel size to offset the walking boot I had to have on my other foot! I do wish there was more padding in the bottom, but I like their being waterproof and they will be useful this winter.

Wonderful, Dansko! I am a musician and stand for many hours practicing. These clogs keep me balanced and protect my hard-working back. They are highly recommended! They are a bit clunky to walk around in, but hey: they do their job and if you picture yourself as part of a Millet painting they feel very artistic.

I love my Danskos! I do not know why I had not noticed in the past that they come in wide sizes (probably because I prefer to buy the flashier designs and wide is only offered in the plain styles), in the past I had my Danskos stretched at the shoe repair shop to fit my wide feet, which never completely helped). Finally, my shoes feel fabulous on my feet the first day! The XP is very cozy and I could not work my long shifts on my feet without them! The only thing that I do not like is that everyone can hear me coming down the hall (compared to those nurses in tennis shoes) due to their heaviness and firm heels - but it is so worth that small inconvenience.

Excellent shoes. I'm a teacher on my feet all the time, and these shoes are more comfortable than my tennis shoes. I have flat feet, bunions, and feet pains and these shoes help. Also, they give me a full 2 inches height and they're so sturdy durable, rain and mud proof. Beautiful color- neither shiny nor dull..more of a soft but true black.

These Danskos are quite excellent. I ordered them for a trip to Glasgow Scotland with the knowledge that it would be rainy and wet. It was and it was also very slick with layers of wet leaves. I never slipped once with these shoes.

These feel wonderful. The arch support if high and sturdy and comes right up against the arch in your foot. They have helped my plantar fasciitis. The size 37 was correct for what I wear in U.S. number 6½. The back does move up and down when you walk not because too big, but because shoe designed to do this and easy to get used to it. I believe someone told me was German design for better walking comfort. The shoe is a nice quality, not cheaply made or materials.

I usually wear a 7½ but the 7 or the 37 worked out perfectly. These are lovely and amazingly comfortable pair of clogs. I'd never tried the pro XP before and though it seems the heal seems like it sits high in the shoe, the cushioning is incomparable. Walking in these clogs was like heaven. And the flat black due to the oiled waterproofing looks so awesome, so clean, so professional. I will never buy a shiny pair of clogs again.

I have tried to wear these shoes but I have problems with my flat feet and the toes are not wide enough and the shoe itself is too hard inside for me. Please accept my apologies. Also, I did a credit card application through you guys and have not yet received the card. Can you please look into that for me as well. Thank you.

Perfect from day 1. Run true to size. I have a history of plantar fasciitis and the arch and support in this shoe are terrific; I can wear them with no discomfort!

I love the new wide size! Much more comfortable than my last pair, as my feet have grown a size. These are my go to shoes for most occasions!

I am on my feet all day and usually wear Dansko. After a series of unfortunate events; one pair of my Dansko's sole broke in half and the other pair the sole literally fell apart, I decided to just wear my running shoes. After a couple months my feet were really hurting by the end of the day. I decided to bite the bullet and order another pair. So far, all is holding and my feet feel better.

I have been wearing some variation of a Dansko clog for work since 1998. These are the best shoes ever. The last long enough to warrant their price, are comfortable, and good for one's back and legs. I can buy this shoe, take it out of the box and wear it to work right away. I don't gel blister of have to break them in. I work on my feet so a comfortable shoe with the proper support is imperative.

Comfortable, sturdy, got a size larger as the reviews said they ran small, just a little big though. I wear 6-6.5, got the 6.5-7.
