I have Dansko Pros in the same size, a 9.5. The XPs seem a little longer. I'm hoping that as the innersoles mold to my feet they will fit better. Other than that I am glad to have an extra pair that is waterproof.

I think I will love these clogs if I can find the right size. Beautiful craftsmanship. lovely material. Narrow across the bridge of my foot in the regular size. Alas, I had to return them. Hoping they will get more Wide size available to try.

They feel just a bit tighter than my ancient Dansko's of the same size. I'm assuming that they will break in and be just perfect. I feel sure that one size up would be way too large from past experience.

I was able to wear these all day the first time I wore them. But I am not knew to Danskos and know they may feel a bit heavy at first. Good arch support and I feel they also make me stand straighter too.

I've only worn these a few times, but so far so good. They do take some time to get used to. I'm not up to a full day yet. They are very solid. I haven't had to add an arch support, which I do to all other shoes, so that's good. They really aren't all that stylish BUT if they will allow me to stand all day in comfort they are worth it.

While these are not the sexiest shoe they are sold and feel good. Time will tell if they will work with my tendon issue, but so far so good. Slowly working into wearing them all day based on some other suggestions made in the reviews.

At first when I tried these on and walked around the house, I agreed with other reviewers that they seemed larger than the other Danskos. However, after wearing them for several hours at a time on hard floors, I would say that they are true to size.

Pretty unattractive. I already wear a 40 and these made my feet look truly like two boats or ski shoes. I hadn’t thought about stepping down a size. I just still love my original Danskos.

I wear a size 8 shoe, but my other foot is a little larger.I ordered the 8 and as I assumed my right foot was a little tight,it did stretch out in about a week and feels good. The band on top is a bit annoying tho.

First, know that the show is a full size larger than expected. I went to a store to try on these shoes and the sizing was verified. If you're a half-size -- go smaller than larger. The cushioning is good. BUT -- they are NOT WATERPROOF!!! I "live chatted" with Dansko while I was in the store and asked if the Pro XP was waterproof -- and they said NO. Only the leather or synthetic upper is waterproof -- but not the way the upper is attached to the sole.

These shoes fit fine in the 7 M - my regular size. I'm only returning them because they are clunky looking on my small frame. I'm afraid I'd rarely wear them. I know they get raves among people who stand on their feet all day, but I'm not one of those people.

I ordered Dansko Pro XP hoping it would be more comfortable than the regular Dansko clog. I thought having it waterproof and slip resistant would be a plus. Unfortunately, It felt a bit wider and bulkier that I am used to. So I will be returning it.

These XPs run very large. Dansko really seems to be inconsistent with their sizingthis season. I wanted a Navy pair of clogs and I tried these, the blueberry oiled and a Sanita pair. Thank you Zappos for making it so easy to try a few sizes and styles with free returns. Every pair I tried was either too small or too big, not at all like my classic Danskos. The 40’s in this XP were huge, so when the 39’s came back in stock and Zappos alerted me (thank you!) I was thrilled to find the right fit finally. I will say that the 39’s fit like my old stretched out 40’s, they are that big. Color is a very nice classic dark Navy. I’m very pleased now that I’ve found the right fit. I wish Dansko would get back to consistent sizing.

I am normally between a 39 and 40 in Dansko. US size 8.5-9. These were huge! I ordered the 40 so I could wear in winter with thick socks and they were way bigger than my Professional clogs. I had also ordered the Blueberry Professional and they fit like my old pairs. Love the color on these waterproof but have to send them back, wish a 39 was available. Good news is I am keeping the blueberry Professional pair.

I bought these shoes because I do a lot of commuting, and am frequently standing for long periods of time on cement floors (I'm an artist). I was looking for something simple and durable. At first, they seemed a bit large and I was experiencing some soreness in my left arch of my foot. However, after a reassuring conversation with a Zappos customer service member, I decided to keep them. I have worn them for one day, and although the soreness is not completely gone, it is manageable...and I am wearing them for a second full day. I look forward to the potential of many good experiences with these shoes!

I do love Dansko and wear them exclusively for work in a professional kitchen. The only disappointment I experienced with this pair of dansko's is the rigidity of the leather that makes up the toe-box. Unlike my other Dansko xp's the leather has not softened. My outer toes become painfully pinched after many hours. I am going to try and have the leather softened to extend the comfort of the shoe. Other than this they are a great pair of work shoes.

I am a medical student and a lot of my classmates have recommended the dansko shoes for doing my clinical rotations. I was particularly interested in the waterproof shoes because friends have said that situations can be a bit messy at times (like when helping deliver a baby). I ordered these ones as well as the the cabrio leather/black box shoes. These shoes are basically the oiled leather version and while they might be waterproof in the sense that your foot stays dry, they definitely are not resistant to liquid stains. In fact the polish on the cabrio/black box danskos allows water to slide right off the shoe. I returned these because I didn't want to walk around with shoes stained with various bodily fluids, and I opted for the black box ones instead which seem much more water resistant and easier to wipe down. Also I think the pro-xp run just a half size larger than the professionals. I tried a 36 in both (I'm usually a 6-6.5) and the xp were way more comfortable.

Great for my arches and plantar fasciitis!!! They are taking longer than Amy of my previous dansko purchases to break in (this is my 5th pair). The instep is tight and my picky toes rub a little bit currently. I know with patience, home wear, and extra thick socks, these shoes are going to be perfect.

I was told to go up a size because danskos run small, I ordered a pair from Amazon and I went up a size. They immediately felt tight and hurt on a whole other level. Since all of the working women in my family swears by danskos, I decided to give them another try. Seeing how the length was fine but the width was what bothered me I returned the last pair and then ordered a wide from Zappos. They fit and feel comfortably but they slip off a little bit so I'm just going to put on thicker socks and I hope they don't stretch and completely fall off my feet while I'm working.

I love dansko shoes. I've been wearing them for 7 years and have enjoyed 4 different styles. I work on my feet for 10+ hour shifts and nothing else keeps my back, knees, and feet from hurting after a long shift. I also have plantar fasciitis in one foot, have broken 4 bones between my two feet, and have had a grade 3 sprain on 3 ligaments in my left ankle. My feet NEED good support! I'll always trade style to take care of my body! The pro XP line have been my favorite due to the memory foam and non-slip features. This particular design is taking waaaaaay more breaking in than I'm used to. I have a high instep and I'm working in breaking them in at home with thick socks. It is very uncomfortable and a little painful on my instep but I am confident that this at home work will pay off. This style is also just a little more narrow in the toe box than any of my past dansko shoes. I used to buy the Mary Jane style XPs to avoid the instep issue. The Mary Jane styles I bought were great right out of the box but the professional and pro xp take weeks for me to break in at home.

These shoes are great once you break them in! This is my second pair!!

I've worn clogs all my life, I like clogs with backs for the wet winter weather, and I wear them all day to work and on weekends running errands. These Dansko Pro XP Waterproof clogs are perfect for winter weather even in snow, well not TOO much snow. I am a plus size woman with a high arch and a wide foot. I ordered size 40 in wide. They fit the way they were supposed to, my heels move up and down as I walk, but the top of the clog, over my arch becomes tight as the day wears on and I find myself slipping them off under my desk because the tops of my feet hurt and my circulation is affected. I suffer through this because I can't imagine my life without clogs and I haven't found any that accommodate my high arch. I wish clogs were made for a broader variety of fit, but I love them anyway.

I have bunions, and the Wide width option was perfect. These have excellent arch support also, but running around all day for 12 hours (I work in medicine), my feet did still ache by the end of the day. I also have plantar fasciitis though, so keep that in mind. In days where I was able to sit every now and then, these shoes were fine. I definitely recommend these for people in the medical field, because they are very protective, sturdy, have good support and a professional look to them, and should last a long time. Worth the price overall.

I have a pair of Black Box professional clogs in wide width which are still a bit snug over my instep. They are nice and shiny, but I wanted something more casual. Sadly, Dansko's choices in a wide width are slim. Are my feet really wider than they used to be? I wore Dansko's reguar width for over 20 years, but now the regulars are too narrow. I bought these in the suede version so they are more low-key. The fit is a bit more generous, which is why I decided to try them (based on reviews, thank you), and they are more padded. I may actually be able to wear them with socks, which is great with jeans. Why, or why, can I not get them in Blueberry? No one in the whole world has the wide width in that color. Please, please, please Dansko, make a pair for me in 39.

This is my first par, I am a chef and spend tons of hours on my feet. Birkenstock used to be my go to shoes for the kitchen for the last eight years. Not anymore. These are very comfortable, just get past the breaking in time of a day or so.
