Great shoe - I love Danskos, own at least 3 other pairs. Unfortunately, this particular style cuts into the top of my foot. They hurt with just a few steps. Have tried a size both larger and smaller, no go. I do have a high instep and a sensitive hallux joint. Other Danskos don’t hurt - it’s just with the professionals that my feet have this problem. Too bad, because they’re waterproof! It’s truly difficult to find a waterproof shoe with a rocker toe. Really wanted to like them but they had to go back.

Excellent shoes, very comfortable. Feels a bit heavy in the beginning, but later on feels just fine. Great for walking....5 stars!

Bought for my wife for daily use at work. As a nurse who spends a majority of her day on her feet, these were perfect in terms of providing the support and comfort she was looking for.

I have very painful bunions and these shoes worked great. No pain,and happy feet.

I have a very painful bunion so I needed a very comfortable wider pair of shoes that would hold up to my being on my feet a lot. The Dansko Pro Xp are wonderful! Wide enough not to hurt my feet. Plenty of support. Waterproof. Slip resistant.,and not really heavy at all. I will definitely be sticking with these shoes. My only complaint I guess would be how stiff the leather is but that in no way would sway my decision to buy them again and again.

Got this for my sister as she loves to cook and is on her feet cooking for our family holidays. She said they are super comfortable.

Even though they're not the most "fashionable," I actually love them. They're not for walking distances, but they are comfortable for standing. Also note that they will add a couple inches to your height.

I don't know how these work--when you put them on, they feel very stiff and hard, but within a few minutes, my feet, that were in terrible pain, stopped hurting! I'm going to love these! Bonus, they make my feet look tiny, and my legs much longer.

I'm an RN and I got these for work to replace some worn-out sneakers. I was originally drawn to them because of the magical phrase "waterproof." They have so far been water- and ick-proof and they're easy to wipe down to sanitize (side note, not sure if you're supposed to use bleach wipes and cavi wipes on the material, but the shoes haven't complained about it yet). When they were fresh-out-of-the-box brand new, my dog took the right shoe outside for a quality control test and I can verify that they stand up to slobber very well. The right shoe's time in the desert sun seemed to shrink it a tad, but after one 12 hour shift it felt about as roomy as the left and after two 12s they felt broken in! One downside is that sometimes the tops of my feet hurt a teensy bit after an especially busy shift (I assume from the top of the shoe putting pressure). My only other complaint is that these shoes have a bit of height to them, which means that if you're me you occasionally roll your ankle in an this-is-how-I-die moment of terror. These ankle-rolls aren't common, though, and my coworkers really get a kick out of it. All-said, these are pretty great shoes for someone who has to be on their feet a lot and isn't ashamed of wearing less-than-stylish clogs (hey- at least they don't have a stupid pattern on them and the lift makes your butt look fantastic in the shapeless outline of hospital scrubs)!

These shoes are great. Paired with black tights in the fall and winter, I would go so far as to say they are cute. They do take a little time to get used to walking since they are less flexible then, say, a sneaker, but they are awesome. Standing for long periods of time are infinitely more comfortable. I found them to be true to size and width.

I am not a person that works on my feet all day long, but I do have three small children that I chase around daily. I wanted something easy to put on and that would easily transform with an outfit change. They are great for casual wear, especially if you dress a little more on the bohemian side, like myself. Super comfy.

I bought these for my wife. These are her second pair of Dansko and as with the first pair they are beyond amazing. The wearability and durability of these shoes is the major selling point. Her first pair lasted over 10 years. Practically bulletproof. A great choice for anyone who walks/stands a lot on the job such as nurses.

Love these. I am a size 9 and a 39 fit perfectly. I have had several pairs of danskos and they really work for my problem feet. I ordered these specifically b/c they are supposed to be waterproof although the packaging does not mention this. Plan on trying them out on a rainy day soon.

These are absolutely comfortable. Standing/walking for long time- No problem. The cushion in the shoe is very soft. I have been using tennis shoes for my work all day; but once I tried these shoes on- I had to get a pair. I went with the Pro XP because these fit my feet better as compared to the Professional Series (of the same size). 5 Stars.

I buy this shoe for comfort while walking in the hospital. They don't look the best but my back and feet feel great at the end of the day!

While these are not the prettiest shoes out there, they are very comfortable. They have excellent arch support for me. Normally I wear an orthotic in my shoes but with these shoes I am good to go without them. Comfort is of utmost importance over style or looks and these shoes are top notch. I may buy another pair in a different color since they are so comfortable. If you have never worn shoes of this type you may have to break them in. For instance, wear 1 hour the first day and then 2 hours the next and so on. A small price to pay for support and comfort.

As with most clogs, this shoe is stiff and fairly clunky. They are comfortable though and will keep your feet dry!

Great for nurses. You definitely have to break them in (try soaking with rubbing alcohol before putting them on for a shift)

This is my favorite Dansko model. The ProXP is a little lighter weight, a little shorter heel, and has a more cushioned insole than the Professional. I am a nurse and I'm on my feet for 12 hours at a time. Nurses swear by Dansko, but I had always found them too hard on my feet until the ProXP came out. I'm now on my third pair, and my feet feel fabulous after a 12hr shift. Zappos is awesome, as always; their customer service is amazing!

I've been wearing Dansko shoes for several years due to my sacroiliac problem. I have athletic shoes and other clog types but the Pro XP's are the most comfortable. I don't have any back pain when I wear them. I like that they're waterproof, the fit is perfect.

Full disclosure - my daughter is actually the one wearing these. She followed directions and wore them at home (with thick socks) for the few days she had them before wearing to do surgery for 4 - 5 hours. The first day she need to change out her shoes during the day, but by the second she was able to wear all day without discomfort.

My closet is full of designer heels and wedgies yet my footwear of choice has been and probably always will be the Dansko clog. Its comfortable and gratefully its bulky style has finally reached the runway. There are other interpretations of the clog by major designers, but only Dansko knows how to make a shoe that is comfortable and lasts nearly forever.
