I typically wear a 9 or 9 1/2 size women's shoe. I ordered this in both the 39 and 40. Although they both fit, the 39 gave me the best arch support exactly where I needed it, so I kept the 39. I read all the reviews and agree.....save yourself the time and order the wide width. Although I usually wear a regular width, I ordered both the regular and the wide. I'm glad I did, they run very narrow. I kept the Wide 39. I love these clogs. They are very comfortable. A little bit of rubbing on the top arch of my foot in the beginning, but not so much any more and I can wear them all day.

I replaced my last pair after six years. These are my go to Winter shoes. The XP non-skid sole is great, but I don't have other Danskos to compare it to. The waterproofing is great and lasted the whole time. My old pair only wore around the edges recently, leading to replacement.

These felt super comfy and ergonomic. They just aren't the most stylish, so I am waiting for a version with a pattern I like to become available.

I love the footbed of these so much. Yes, they are heavy. Yes, they require a breaking in period. I will take these to the shoe shop and have the toe box stretched a little, tiny toes are a teeny bit cramped at the outer side - but I got some weirdo feet..... But is this shoe worth all that effort - YES. Looks classy, will last for-freakin-ever and the support is grand. My neuromas never bother me in these. Do it. Order them.

Really, really comfy. I was hesitant to buy Dansko shoes because I felt like they were a little pricey, but I finally did it and OH MY GOSH they are comfortable. The oiled have a smell to them, but that is dissipating with time.

You have to wear a thick socks and it’s done. It felt like walking in the clouds. What I love most is, it’s gives you extra height inches, so you’re a little taller!

So happy these fit! I wear a true size 9 and the 39 (8.5 - 9) was perfect. My feet are fairly wide, especially near my toe base, but the wide size was sold out so I took a gamble on the regular width knowing that these are "professional-use" shoes and might not run as narrow as normal shoes. So happy that's true! I'm wearing with a thin sock to start and there's a little pressure on the top of my foot but not painful, and I'm confident they'll stretch for a perfect fit. They're lightweight and surprisingly warm. I felt a little unstable walking on gravel when I walked to my car (I think because of the shape / height of the sole) but I plan to wear these inside on flat surfaces so not too concerned. Love the chunkiness of them and the oiled surface has a cool matte finish. They look great with plain or loud socks and cuffed pants/jeans.

Fit was perfect. These are best shoes for being on your feet all day. Love them!!

First of all the shoes came in the mail in record time. Thank you. Second the shoes feel good the first time I put them on. They are a bit snug, however, I know they will stretch in time. The arch support is a bit different, but I am sure that I will be very happy as soon as I wear them bit more. I love Dansko shoes. I have worn them for more than 15 years and wear little else.

Dansko standard, great glogs, just wish there colors other than black brown and white for men

I swear these shoes have been the best investment for work. I used to have issues with my back and knee while standing for long periods of time. With Dansko, I am able to go all day on my feet and actually look forward to putting them on! This is my third pair in five years and I abuse them ( I work in a restaurant). I will absolutely purchase more in the future.

These shoes fit will and are a lifesaver when standing on your feet all day!

Amazing arch support. I had purchased another pair of clogs (different brand) from a local comfort shoes store to wear while taking my culinary arts courses. But when these Dansko Professional XP arrived and I tried them on, they were so superior to the first pair, that I took back the pair I purchased locally (they were unworn). I haven't worn these Dansko clogs yet for 8-hour days, but in the kitchen at home, they seem to be outstanding!

I love these shoes!!! I've had many compliments when I wear them to work. I work on my feet many hours of my work day, and I'm surprised as to how comfortable these shoes are. I bought the Waterproof style, and let me tell you, I live and work in Florida, where it rains pretty much every day. Right now there's a Tropical Depression, Alberto, in the Gulf of Mexico. It has brought heavy rains to central Florida, and it looks like all next week it will rain every day. Thank goodness I bought theses work shoes just in time! I am very happy with my decision and I'm looking forward to sunnier days.

I love this shoe! It has corrected my alignment t when walking.-no more Sciatica! I will always own a pair of Danskos!

Wow. These arrived just in time for a business trip to NYC in April. The meetings were in several hotels around Times Square so I had to "hoof it" a lot. First, my feet were comfortable and protected as i navigated the crowds - and there were crowds. One day I faced torrential rains and had to walk through inch deep puddles. My pants were soaked, yet my feet remained as dry as possible. These clogs really are waterproof - and comfy. Of course, I was not a fashion plate wearing my dansko clogs, but, since my personality lies in my feet, I was happy.

I just received these in lightening fast speed. I am amazed at the ease and awesomeness of Zappos and their customer service. I am returning/exchanging. I typically wear a 7.5 to and 8 and purchased the 38 based on the size recommendation. They are or seem to be a size too big therefore I will reorder these in the 37. I have super high hopes. I am ordering for work. Dansko has a great reputation. Prior to these I had the Born Toby or toby 2. They were good. Im excited to get these in the appropriate size.

Ever since hip surgeries began in 2008 I needed solid shoes with great support to walk without pain. I finally tried the XP with this purchase and I love the cushion! I needed to order wides to accommodate a previously broken foot and the wide is perfect! I teach high school chemistry - on my feet all day - and these shoes make walking all day long easy.

The 39 fit my 8.5 foot. They are typical Dansko, I bought them for their waterproofing. If these are your first Danskos, search for a fitting guide. The heel is supposed to be loose, which is great for my bone spurs. They are like walking in clogs

Really wanted to like this shoe! Alas, the thick band across the top of the arch is a bit too firm. It cuts into the top of my foot while walking, causing pain in the area where veins cross over the 1st and 2nd metatarsal. I've found this to be the case with other "Pro XP" Dansko styles as well. Wish I didn't have to return these, especially because they're waterproof! I own several other Dansko styles that don't have that band and they're all fantastic. A former cyclist with damaged hallux joints, I love the firm sole of Danskos, the only shoe my now arthritic feet seem to be able to wear. Dansko, please make some more waterproof shoes and warm winter boots!

They’re not the most fashionable shoe on this earth, but I do a lot of standing and walking as a nurse, and these are perfect in preventing my feet from hurting at the end of my shift. If you’ve never worn Dansko’s before, it will take some getting used to, but they’re a great shoe. The XP version of Dansko’s feel cushiony compared to the original Dansko’s.

I bought these shoes in anticipation of a trip to England in December, and I couldn't have been happier. I tromped through muddy fields in the Cotswolds and rinsed them off in the kitchen sink at night. I wore them in the rain, and the height kept me dry in puddles. I wore them walking miles every day in London, and my feet couldn't have been happier. Smartwool socks and these waterproof Danskos are a perfect match!
