These would have been perfect if the tongue weren't so high and stiff. That part of the shoe pushed against my foot and was inflexible. Sadly returning these.

I have a Taos Moc Star and a Taos Dandy in a size 8 and they feel wonderful. I read the reviews for the Taos Star and since it ran small, I tried an 8 wide.It came and was too loose so I went ahead and ordered an 8. The 8 felt very short and tight so I sent it back and ordered an 8 and a half. It feels a little big, but I'm keeping it because it's so cute. I will stick with the Dandy or Moc Star after this. Love the arch support.

I liked the color and loved the awesome arch support. What made me send these back, however, was the dearth of padding under the ball of the foot and toes. For such sumptuous arch support, why wouldn't they do a good job of padding the rest of the sole?

So, my feet are quite narrow and the mediums fit wonderfully. The heel and arch are excellent. I am on my feet all day, averaging 13,000 steps each day. However, the support and comfort that are excellent in the heel and arch, are totally forgotten under the ball of the foot. It felt to me like I was walking directly on the floor. I was really bummed because my feet, 12N are so very, very hard to fit and these were great. That said, the amount of time I spend on my feet will not make it without more cushion and comfort for the whole foot. I had to return them and keep my fingers crossed to find a better pair that are both comfortable and fit.

For anyone of you with flat feet AND plantar fasciitis, that are wondering, "will this shoe work for me?" I'll just stop you right now: probably not. I came across this particular shoe because I was trying to find a replacement for my Chuck Taylors – I have flat feet and recently developed plantar fasciitis, and was on the search for a cute, casual sneaker. I hate orthotic-looking shoes as well as super athletic-looking ones, and I had seen Taos recommended. Unfortunately, the exact thing so many other people were applauding, the arch support, was extremely uncomfortable to me. I've never really been able to wear moderate to high arch supports, and this was just too much. I felt like I was trying to balance on softballs. I walked around in my house a bit, and though you can take OUT the insole to replace with an orthotic insert, these were just too expensive for me justify doing that. It's definitely what I was looking for style-wise, at least and I can see why they work for other people.

Shoe style very cute. The width (wide) was wide enough for my wide foot. I ordered it in my usual size, 9W. Unfortunately, I found the shoe style stiff and uncomfortable for me so I returned them.

The shoe looks great but is stiff and uncomfortable

Cute shoes, just not for me. I have a fairly narrow foot, and these were a bit too wide, even with socks. I really didn't like the insole. Plenty of cushion, but the arch was so high that I felt like I was walking on the outside edges of my feet. So, I'm still looking for a cute pair of shoes, I just want them to fit.

I don't usually have trouble with my feet being different feel or size, but the left and right shoes felt very different. The padding inside, the way it bent when when I walk, the overall size... all felt mismatched, even tho they were a matching set.

These are really cute and seemed comfortable to start out with and had good support. But after wearing them about an hour and walking about half a mile ,ended up rubbing off the skin in the back right wear the shoe's edge was. Could just be my foot.

These sneakers are super cute, though not quite as fitted to the foot as I like. I totally would have kept them except that the material they're made of is super thick and stiff as a board so they felt uncomfortable to me.

I have had these shoes about six months now and they have not held up. The color is fading, the canvas is fading and the soles are wearing through. Given that they weren't that comfortable to begin with I just tossed them. Definitely not worth the money.

The length was spot on. However the toe box was short and taking a wide width I need the little bit of extra room. My big toe was rubbing too much and I knew it would cause blistering if I kept the shoes. I love the style and color. When walking around the house deciding to keep or not, the arch support felt good. Unfortunately, I'm returning them.

I really liked these shoe and wished they would have been more comfortable. I usually wear a 7-1/2 wide. The 7-1/2 was too short, so I reordered the 8W. They seemed ok, but after I short while they were still tight over the toes and hurt. I will be returning.

Cute but too small

Taos sandals fit me perfectly...these did not. These felt small and not very comfortable. REturning them.

The arch support in these are excellent. BUT, the the area of the shoe under the ball of the foot is stiff, un-cushioned and not comfortable at all. Felt like there was nothing between me and the ground. I had to return them. If I were solely (see what I did there..) judging on the arch support and looks of the shoe, I would have given it a 5 star rating.

I really wanted to love these. The reviews sounded fantastic and they are a really cute sneaker! But they were so tight even though I sized up, the height of the shoe is very low and I really had to jam my foot in, I could lace them but it looked all wrong. Maybe my feet are a bit too wide though I have always worn a regular width. I am returning these, not getting the next size up because the length was right on. Oh well!

3rd time's a charm! I love these shoes, but it took me to the third pair to get the sizing right. I ended up with a full size higher than my norm. But not that I have them, they fit perfectly, are comfortable for walking (walked 3 miles in them the first day, no issues with breaking them in), and are super cute.

These definitely run small! They are darling shoes. I wear 7 1/2 and bought the 8 equivalent which was the right length but quite narrow and I could barely get my foot into it. The overall height if the shoe is quite low. Had to return. ??

They were too short and maybe because of that my big toe rubbed the side. There is a big (high) insert with a pronounced arch inside the shoe. Cute but the wide did not feel wide.

I enjoy my other Taos tennis shoes a lot. I bought this style because it came in a wide. Feels great in the toe box but kills my heels. Going back! Taos have another tennis shoe that looks almost exactly the same...it doesn’t come in wide but it still accommodates my widish feet. I’ll get that style in blue and be all set for fall and next summer. Zappos is the bomb in customer service! They can’t be beat. Thanks Zappos!

I wanted to love these...I really did. The chocolate brown isn't as gray as some other reviewers might have led you to believe. But the reason I'm returning them is the back of the shoe. I knew that any amount of walking I did was going to produce nasty blisters in the back; they're simply too rough at that seam, at least for me. I'm so disappointed. Desperately seeking a cute comfy sneaker with arch support.

These are really cute, but the shape of the toe box is odd. They taper on the big toe side, pulling my toes out of alignment. They fit fine just around the house, but I couldn’t see these working long term. This is how bunions are made!

The shoe was cute. I liked the looks but the arch support was extremely high and hard. I just had foot surgery about 4 months ago and am having a hard time finding a cute sneaker. Way to narrow and that was the wide. I tried taking the arches out but that was like walking on concrete. I returned them.
