so far so good. I like the look. They are light weight. I don't know how durable they will be but time will tell.

I bought this shoe about five years ago when it was a slightly different model, and I really liked it. They were definitely well-worn, but I wish the stitching on the sides around the top of the sole were real. The glue failed on either side of where my foot bends. I repurchased a 13, and the new one is noticeable larger than the one I already had. The 12 was too small, and there's no 12 1/2, so I have to go look for a brand that makes smaller 13s or larger 12s.

Quality is good. Comfort is good. Decent insole for my high arch. Fit is good for my tricky wide feet. Speed of delivery good. Its impossible to find wides in the brick and mortar stores anymore, so Im thankful for this solution.

Returned to Johnston and Murphy. Didnt like feel versus older model of the shoe

I have a pair of McGuffey Plain Toes that is close to ten years old. The most versatile and comfortable shoes I have owned. I wanted to replace with a new pair but you no longer carry the color I like. I dont remember the name of the color but is between a grey and tan. Let me know if you ever decide to bring back that color. I would buy two pairs.

Color not as described. Style and craftsmanship were very good. I Usually wear a 9W but in McGuffies 9W is too big , so I tried a 81/2 W which is the right length but still too wide. Im giving up on McGuffies . Ill try another style and see if I can get grey

My Second pair. I bought the same size and it was too small in width. Made differently, maybe. Thats all. Otherwise good.

Not the most comfortable shoe. I have narrow feet and this shoe seems very narrow. After first wear they appear worn. I dont have much faith these will last.

Incredibly squeaky when walking on non-carpeted floors. Shoe dogs into my heels. The rest is fine though. Feet are comfortable throughout a work day.

Unless I'm color blind, the shoes are not grey. I thought you shipped me the wrong color, so I ordered again. And again I got the nongrey shoes. They are taupe. The customer service was great for sending me another pair, though. But they didn't seem to know about the shoe color situation.

The Navy is almost black it is so dark, but I love the shoe.

Nice shoe, and looks nice with anything from jeans to khakis to shorts. Not much in the way of arch support, but still a comfortable fit. I'd recommend it.

Great shoes, but the laces wear out way too fast and I find it rather frustrating that J&M doesn't carry replacement laces. Tried the place they did recommend and the ones I ordered are too thin. If anyone knows exactly where to buy these laces I'd love to know. Thanks!

This is a stylish and comfortable shoe. I truly love this shoe, BUT they squeak on every tiled surface. I typically don't wear them to work because of this. It appears many of J&M shoes use this same grippy sole.

I purchased these shoes short time ago because they came in wide size. They felt very comfortable, but stitching on the side began to become loose and shows that the shoes are falling apart. I paid full price, which is a shame. They should send me a new pair free of charge!
