Nice looking shoe but very low on the ankle

Fit very good, light weight but not very comfort because i think the sole too hard, it is not flexible, i will try to wear for everyday working in office , will see what happen.

I really wanted to love this shoe, but the materials are just not up to par for a J&M shoe. After just 2 wears, the upper seam of of the sole is breaking away from the shoe body at the toe pivot point. It became apparent the stitched seam is for looks and doesn't actually connect the sole to the upper material...it's just glued, and it's that glue that is breaking away. Also, the inside seam of the heel overlay material falls right on the backside of my heel making for a very uncomfortable rubbing actually causing a blister at the achilles connection point to the heal. I have 2 pairs of J&M shoes that I absolutely love and have worn down to their soles and I still wear them, but these new shoes don't hold up.

I ordered this shoe and the sole separated within one day of wearing. I will be returning.

Love these shoes. They needed very little breaking in and were good to go right out of the box. Perfect for casual wear with jeans or for dressing up a bit.

The item came in and looked way lighter of a tan than in the images. I had to return the item due to this.

This is my second pair of these shoes but still have my first pair (different color) that I bought a few years ago. The great thing is that quality of these shoes hasnt changed as they are durable yet comfortable.

Very comfortable shoes. I had several people at work as me about them. Well-made and seem that they will last long.

Comfortable and stylish. I bought Daxton sneakers and McGuffey shoes. Both look great and are very comfortable. I'd say they run a little narrow. Most of my shoes are 11.5 regular. I went with size 12 for both J&M shoes due to the width, not the length. The Daxtons are not available in wide at all and wide McGuffey's were sold out so I was not able to try them. I'm happy with both but would definitely like to try size 11.5 wide next time.

I have had a pair of these in brown that I've worn out over several years. They're my favorite shoes. I liked them so much that I retired my old pair and bought 2 new pairs - one in each color.

Well made shoe with a perfect fit

My wife bought these shoes for me. The fit is perfect,style is great. I'm pleasantly surprised because I prefer to try on shoes before purchasing. Will definitely by another pair.

Shoes feel and fit great. Having a wide foot presents problems when selecting shoes. These shoes however fit my foot perfectly and they feel great! Love the style and can be worn as dress or the casual look.

I really like the look and feel of these shoes, and Ive received compliments. However, they make a loud popping noise when I walk. The noise comes from the break point in the foot on the top of the shoe. Its almost like the shoe is trying to snap back to straight which causes the noise. Unfortunately, I dont really wear them because the noise is awkward. I was hoping they required a break-in, but Ive worn them about a dozen times and the noise remains. Maybe I received a bad pair?

Shoe is too large and after wearing just 5 times, already see signs of wear around the bottom edges.

This is my 3rd or 4th pair of McGuffeys. I ordered the same size and width as usual. This pair does not feel as soft and is much tighter than the others. Will take some wear to stretch out.
