These are not for high insteps. They are very cute and almost fit but the shoes are really snug on a high instep foot. I am returning them.

I'm a size 9 or a 40 and I could barely get my foot into the Tom's Leila Boot in a size 9 1/2. This runs very short. It was also rather uncomfortable in the way the top hit my ankle. The flap under the zipper up the back folded in the wrong direction and the zipper was very difficult to zip up. My husband also thought they were ugly. Oh well. Back they go.

Boot felt great when I slipped foot into it; however, couldn't close zipper at that point. Too bad!

These just look cheap. I'm so disappointed with these boots. The style is great, but the quality is lacking. Not worth it at this price.

I wear a 6.5 in every other pair of toms I've owned, but these felt like a full size too small. I couldn't even get my foot in them, and the material was stiff.

I give up. I've ordered two pairs of these now, and I cannot for the life of me get the zippers to work. They catch on the fabric every.single.time. no matter what I try.

I couldn't believe that I couldn't even get this shoe on! I'm a regular 8.5 and this shoe was way too tight. The zipper in the back was also stuck and could not come up on one of the shoes. Super disappointed in these booties.

Wore them three times and then the zipper broke. Such a shame because they were so comfortable and I loved how they looked!
