This is my second pair. I love these shoes!

Bring back the XR MISSION1. This shoe is narrower, has less arch support and is overall less cushioned. The size 8 1/2 is too small (slightly smaller than the XR MISSION1) and the size 9 slips a lot in the heel despite lacing tightly.

I liked these shoes a lot from a style perspective. But for some reason, the left shoe felt like I had a baseball under my heel. I think my left arch must be slightly different than the right one because the right shoe felt perfect. Sending them back and trying the Sense Ride instead.

This is my second pair Mission 3's. My first pair finally wore out after 2 years of constant use. I love these shoes! They are tough and can take a lot of abuse. I wear mine for everything from walking the dog to hiking and mountain biking. They feel a little stiff at first, but after a few times of wearing them they are broken it. I normally wear a 9 and I had to size down a half size to an 8 1/2. I have the deep lagoon/bluebird and they are true to the colors in the picture.

Love these! After returning 2 other pairs of another brand I went back to my beloved Salomon. I wear 7.5-8 and these were true to size. I got the 8 so I can fit my insole.

I've yet to take these for a long hike but my first impression is that they fit true to size and are low profile with enough tread for the type of hikes I usually do. These should strike the right balance between my Nike Frees and my hiking boots. A lot of times I don't need proper hiking boots but the Nikes just didn't have enough tread for dry or rocky downhills. The reason I am writing this review at all is because I have high arches and more and more shoes don't have tongues, which can be somewhat problematic. My foot slid into these ok (only a tiny bit tight). I really like the pull laces, they work kind of like the inserts in my snowboarding boots. I also like that you can loosen them up and the shoe will stay on but still allow my arches to not be under a lot of pressure on the ride/drive home.

My daughter loves these. Super comfortable and durable.

I have to use orthotic inserts and this shoe accommodates that very well. This is my second pair and I am hard on these shoes with lots of yard work. I also require a wide toe box and this shoe has that as do many other shoes offered by Salomon.. The quick-cinch laces tuck into a small pocket so laces do not get caught on anything. My new Salomons fit perfectly from the very first wearing, much more supportive than my old ones which were really worn out.

This is at least my 6 or 7th pair of X-Mission 3s so I obviously like them. I love the different colors, the fit (I have a wide foot), the lacing system and their durability. I am not a runner and I understand how the lace system might not work well for some runners. I am an occasional easy hiker but I do walk 2-5 miles daily so my shoes get a lot of wear. I do not wear my shoes until they are worn out. I try to buy a replacement for the oldest pair every 6-12 months and then rotate my new shoes with the older shoes often. I know these shoes are not supposed to be washable and probably not recommended but a friend told me she washed her running shoes (different brand) on occasion if they were very dirty or dusty. So, I took my oldest pair and tried it. They came out looking like new and felt that way too! I don’t wash my shoes often, maybe once or twice/year and I always let them dry in the sun. Overall, this is the best and most comfortable running/walking/hiking shoe I have ever had. Love my Salomons and waiting for more colors...

Very comfortable and has good support for trails

These are my favorite running/walking shoes EVER!!!!! I have narrow heels and a wider toe box with a neuroma from marathon training and they don’t pinch. They move with your feet and are especially breathable. I’m also a heel striker with high arches and these are so supportive. I can stand for hours without pain. I will wear these as long as they sell them!!!!!

Well, they seemed to size and they seemed well made, but otherwise, ugh. They are the anti-comfort, with weird, purposeless formations in the footbed and they made my feet move oddly. Never really felt anything quite like it. (Yep, they're going back.)
