Nice looking boots and style. My issue is the boots were worn and repackaged with some scuffs on the leather. Of boots are returned then they need to re-polish and buff.

Love the look and quality. The break in period is hard but worth it

As previously stated,you'll need an insert.The bottoms inside are like rock.I usually wear a 12.Black doesn't seem to be available in widths.The 12 was too narrow.Got a 13 with insert's,and am pleased.

I've had my eye on the Iron Rangers for years. I'm extremely happy that I finally pulled the trigger on these. They're exceptional quality and built to last. I took the sizing advice and ordered 1/2 size down. Spot on. For me they were comfortable right out of the box. Not like I wanted to go for a run in them, but not as brutal of a break in period as others have stated. My Danners were way more painful. Even my Birkenstocks gave me more grief at first. They are definitely a tough boot but without being too much boot. They're sharp looking too. Whether you're buying them for fashion or for boot needing activities, you won't be disappointed. Do it.

Perfection! Ordered a full size down based on other reviews and they were perfect. These are high-quality USA-made works of art. They are stiff for the first few days, but break in well. Think of them like a good leather baseball glove. They will be tight and stiff at first, but once you break them in they become the best thing you’ll ever put on your feet.

Very nice boots. Fit and finish are excellent. Got compliments all day.

Bought one full size down and it fit perfect

These are great looking boots, but didn't fit me in the instep area. Had to return them.

I am normally a 10.5 M. I bought a 9.5E and fits perfect.

They fit perfectly, I ordered my size and had no issues wearing them after I broke them in for a couple of days. They look great and arrived in perfect condition. The box kind of fell apart when I opened the package but that's it. Speedy delivery as well!

I wear 9.5 in tennis shoes and I ordered a size 9 in these boots. Also, I put in a thin insole because there is not any cushioning at all. Also, the shoe fits kinda narrow in the heel and mid foot.

The Red Wing Heritage line quality has gone down drastically over the last 2 years. Buying a pair online feels like spinning a slot machine and hoping you get two pairs that actually look like they belong together. My last attempt had missing glue near the ball of the foot so every step I took it made a POP. Annoying! Can't recommend but if you do buy, purchase .5 size down from your usual tennis shoe.

What more can be said about this boot. The Iron Ranger is an American legend, and for good reason. It also seems like Red Wing increased the spi which only enhances the look of the boot. For sizing advice. I’m a 10.5D on Brannock device and the 10D fits perfectly (down half size). For anyone with an E or wider foot go for the EE width.

Went with a full size down for perfect fit. Normally wear Vans authentic.

Couldn't get any of 3pairs that I tried to fit me. 2felt too large and the 3rd too small. Love redwing shoes, definitely will try different model.

Really happy with these boots. They do run small and narrow. Glad I got EE. They don't come with insoles and are pretty firm in the foot bed, so you may way to add some. Best looking boots if you're going for something rugged but high quality in this segment.

This review is to inform customers that this boot is a size larger than expected ordered a size 9(regular size for me) and was to big. Ordered a 8.5 and still to big, trying an 8 number now for the 3rd time.

Fit was perfectly true to size. Style is “just right,” rugged but wearable everyday. Color of boot and sole offer a timeless look.

I measure a 10.5 wide. I wear a 10.5 in Johnston Murphy. dress shoes. I wear an 11 in Redwing Dynastars and 11 in most sneakers. I originally purchased the Heritage a 10.5 wide and they were huge. I returned them for a 10 regular and it is a good fit, and they are very comfortable. If my foot was regular width, I could see purchasing a full-size down. From a style standpoint these appropriate for office casual and/or a casual restaurant/bar. They are of good quality and well-made, and would stand-up to actually use as a work boot, if one was so inclined. I would assume (and will find out) that with appropriate sealing they will be water/snow/slush resistant.

I am a size 10W and purchased a size 10R in this boot. I had no break-in period whatsoever and in fact, these boots were comfortable right out of the box. That said, the leather will indeed give. In hindsight, a 9.5 in this boot would have worked for me. With the 10 that I kept, I wear thicker socks or if not a thick sock, I use orthotics. As the reviews state, quality of craftsmanship, durability and aesthetics are all rolled into the Iron Ranger!

I went a full size down and fit perfectly

I measure 10.5 wide. I wear a 10.5 wide in Johnston & Murphy wingtips. I wear Red Wings Dynaforce in a 11, regular width. Most of my sneakers are size 11. I bought the Iron Rangers in a 10.5 wide and they were comically oversized. They were huge, and weren't even close to being a 10.5 wide. I will be immediately returning them for a smaller size. The review process requires a score, but the scoring is not accurate because I haven't worn them.
