These booties are cute and comfortable! I’m usually an 8 in shoes, but went down a half size to a 7.5.

Born booties are so comfortable! I had to go a half size down with the black leather.

I really like these booties. Born is so comfortable. I have another pair like these but they’re the soft leather and wore a full size smaller than my normal size. This is not true with the black leather. I’m exchanging them for only a half size smaller than normal.

Love these boots! Wore them on a weekend trip right when I got them!! Great comfort the whole trip :)

I had these in the taupe suede, just purchased the brown leather, and I will be back to get them in the black leather. I have wide feet with high arches and other orthopedic issues, and these are the only ankle boots I can wear comfortably. My suede pair is size 10, but they stretched considerably so I purchased the 9.5 in the leather figuring they will stretch a bit, too. The foot bed has some padding and is very comfortable, especially with the low heel (I have ball of foot issues in my left foot, an they are not a problem). If you size up and go a little larger, you can easily fit a thin insole or pad - not necessarily a full orthotic) if that is what you need for comfort. The back zipper allows for easy on/off access (with high arches, no slip on boots without a zipper will work for me).

The fit was perfect. The shoes are very well made and soooooo comfortable.

Recovering from ankle surgery, I was looking for booties that didn’t have a zipper on the inside or outside of the shoe that are a little different from a Chelsea-style boot and this was perfect!

I . These are my favorite boots, I have had several pair for a few years. I LOVE the taupe ones the best and would love to buy another pair, but you don't sell them anymore. I am very sad about this!

I ordered the Peltro distressed thinking they would be more brown but the pair I received look more grey. The fit and the comfort were good but I am sending them back.

These boots are great - supportive/comfortable enough for working on my feet all day in the classroom. I have Achilles tendon issues and I suspect plantar fasciitis as well. I usually wear 7.5 in Børns (7 or 7.5 in others) but they were way too big and I had to go down to a 6.5! 6.5 fits perfectly. Still plenty of room for my toes. The toe box doesn’t look roomy but it really is! I cannot tolerate any pressure on the top of my big toe or the side of my pinky toe and these don’t put pressure on either! I was worried about the black finish rubbing off the back of the heel as mentioned in other reviews. But I wear mine frequently in a classroom of 4 and 5 year olds and there is not one single scuff or peeling! They are holding up wonderfully! Very pleased with these boots. I’d opt for sneakers for doing excessive walking (like exploring a city on foot on vacation) but for work and daily life they are great.

These boots are adorable and super comfortable. I wear them with low profile socks that are thin so the boots feel a little big but that doesn't bother me. After wearing them just a few times they have the look and feel of well loved, comfortable boots.

I’ve been looking for some cute, low heeled, booties that I could wear all day without pain. I’ve had good success with Born and I saw these had mostly good reviews so I ordered them. (Great service, Zappos- they were on my porch less than 24 hours later!) The moment I put them on they were keepers- super comfy, nothing pinched anywhere. I typically wear a 9, though in some brands that seems to be too small lately, but the 9 in these is perfect- even with thick winter socks. I ordered the black leather for a bit dressier look than the other options. Very happy with my purchase?.

I usually wear size 8.5 or 9 and 8.5 was a perfect fit. Such a comfortable bootie and stylish for work or casual. I wear these all the time! So much so this is the second pair I purchased!

My pair was a little bigger than expected, but not enough of a problem to be returned. I may order a half size down if I get another pair. The color was different than the picture, but was fine.

Wanted a comfortable pair of low boots (I can't bring myself to call them booties) to wear with dresses, skirts, and jeans. They just arrived today and felt great immediately even after being on my feet all day in other shoes. I was hoping the distressed would be more like suede, but it seems less fuzzy than the photo. I think this leather may hold up better than suede and stain less, so I'm perfectly happy with the finish. As far as the heel goes, it remains to be seen if the the finish wears off. It looks perfect right now. My thought is I can always just pull a Pretty Woman and use a brown sharpie to make it brown again if it actually turns white like some other reviewers have stated. I love the openings on the sides - very flattering and also gets outs of the way of causing any blisters on ankles.

This is my second pair of the Born Kerri boot. I have them in the tobacco distressed color and also in the smooth black leather. I wear between a 7 and 7 1/2 depending on how the shoe is made. I found the 7 1/2 fits best in this style. My ankles are thick, and other booties I’ve tried dig into them when I walk. The cut out area on each side alleviates that problem. There is plenty of wiggle room in the toes as well. It has a bit of a lift to the heel that seems to also help with my plantar fasciitis. I’m a teacher, and I can wear these all day to school. I’ve worn them with both jeans and skirts. The quality is great, too. However, I can see how the material wrapping around the heel could come off in time like others have complained about. I try not to walk around in gravel or on uneven surfaces with these on. I’ve had one of my pairs for almost a year, and so far, they’re still intact. Overall, I really enjoy these boots and recommend them!

I have several born boots and this is my second pair of the Kerri because I loved the first one so much wanted in another color. You really can't go wrong with this boot. There is no break in period with this shoe, the grey is a perfect smokey suede grey that you could wear with either blacks or browns, the shoe has great support, isn't too narrow or too wide, and is just a perfect everyday bootie. I have a high arch and like a padded footbed, which this shoe has but its not too narrow so that it squeezes my toes together. I might shamelessly purchase in another color as well i love them so much.

These are fantastic. They are pointy in the toe box, as shown in the picture, but they have plenty of room; they are designed perfectly. They are super comfortable, and fit my (Birkenstock) half-sized inserts/orthotics very well. I have a moderately high arch, so always wear inserts, and sometimes shoes are too short in height and don't fit with inserts. These are great. They seem like great quality, and I wear them with shorter length pants, full length pants, and I can imagine they'll look great with tights and a skirt.

It feels like a miracle but the size 11 fits beautifully! I’m a solid size 12 and was so disappointed when they didn’t fit. It’s rare to find cute shoes in my size! So, skeptically ordered a size 11 and slipped them on this morning. The fit like a dream!!! Tiny bit stiff as new shoes are but not tight and my narrow heel does not slip. I finally found my ankle booties!!!!! Woo Hoo!

This boot is easy to slip on because there is a full zipper on the heel. It is perfect for wearing with jeans and the color grey is a neutral that will go with any color.

Ugh! So excited to find a cute pair of booties in a size 12 and they are too big! Everyone says go down half a size but they don’t make 11.5s!!! I can slide my foot right out of these though so I’m ordering an 11 and fingers crossed they are not too small!
